Welcome back to this NLP technique for releasing stubborn negative emotions.
Find a place in your home where you can sit quietly and remain undisturbed for the remainder of this practice.
Now that you've decided what emotion you will work on during this meditation,
Take some time to connect to the very first time that you felt this emotion.
Ask yourself,
What age were you?
Was it before,
During,
Or after birth?
Try to trace the memory back to the very first time,
Often between the ages of 0 and 7.
Now close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
Exhale,
Dropping into the body.
Once again,
Deep breath in.
And release.
So you drop into your vessel,
Connecting to your timeline.
Go ahead and begin traveling back in time,
All the way back into the memory of the very first time that you experienced this negative emotion.
Allow yourself to see this experience from your perspective.
See what you saw,
Feel the surroundings around you,
And hear what you heard.
What is happening in this scenario that is evoking this negative emotion?
Allow yourself for a few moments to feel what you felt.
And now travel a little bit even further back in time and float up above the event.
Now turn around and face the future so that the event is in front of you and way down below you.
Allow yourself to float above the event,
Witnessing the situation,
Witnessing the experience of the negative emotion.
And ask yourself,
What lessons are here for you?
What lessons must you learn from this experience in order for you to finally let go of this negative emotion easily and effortlessly?
What did your soul come here to learn?
How are you to bring more understanding,
More compassion,
And a new perspective to this experience?
Witness how these lessons change the experience of that emotion.
And if you still feel the negative emotion within you,
Go ahead and float even higher up,
Even higher so that you're seeing it from a whole new paradigm.
Witness the experience way down below you and recognize what's really happening here.
Now taking these lessons with you,
Feeling a sense of clarity,
Take a deep breath in.
Good.
And now begin floating back into your future,
But first stopping at each event along your timeline where you perhaps experienced the same experience or experienced the same negative emotion.
And allow yourself to apply this new perspective,
Apply the new lesson to the experience,
Connecting to each one of the events along your timeline that were significant,
And see how the experiences are rewired and how there's all new perspectives that can be learned from you applying the learnings.
Go ahead and move forward in your timeline as quickly or slowly as you wish,
Floating all the way down into the future,
All the way down into the present moment.
And once you come back into the room,
Open your eyes and connect to yourself in your present awareness.
Good.
Now that you've come back into the room,
Go ahead and take some time to write out the lessons that you've now learned and which you will be taking with you into the future so that any time moving forward you experience this negative emotion again,
You will be able to apply the learnings and create a new experience from yourself from this new found grounded self-awareness.
