You in this very moment let's pause and Take some much needed time for ourselves Take this moment just for you a Moment that is entirely yours you Seat yourself in an upright posture With your spine straight Close your eyes Focus your attention inwards Firstly on your body you bringing your awareness to any tension or or areas of tightness if you are able to relax into these areas After bringing your awareness to them Doing so gradually Whilst feeling gratitude to your body for supporting and carrying you on life's journey Turn your awareness to your breathing Breathe deeply and deliberately for a few moments Focusing on the sound of your breath The feeling of the air on your nostrils The movement of your chest and the steady beat of your heart Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale As you exhale,
Feel your body relaxing even further Visualize all emotional and physical resistance leaving your body Inhale the loving acceptance that the universe is constantly providing you Inhale Exhale Exhale Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale.
Acknowledge any worries,
Anxieties,
Stress,
Repetitive or circular thoughts that float to the surface of your mind.
Watch these thoughts as a witness and pay attention to the feeling they evoke in your stomach and in your chest.
Be particularly aware of thoughts that trigger fear or tightness.
Repeat the first part and listen to the second part of the following affirmation.
As you hear and repeat the words,
Embody them.
Visualize your body filling full of golden light,
Pure,
Universal potential.
Imagine the universe enveloping your being in pure,
Universal love and acceptance.
Change.
I am able to control the situation I am currently in,
So why should I worry?
Change.
I am unable to affect the outcome of the current situation,
So why should I worry?
Change.
True control is maintaining mental equanimity regardless of the situation.
Change.
I accept that change is a natural part of life.
Change is the only universal constant.
I am acceptance.
I am energy.
I am love.
All is well.
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel the surface on which you are sitting,
The temperature of the room around you on your skin,
And the ambient noise of your immediate surroundings.
Slowly,
Open your eyes and remain seated in place.
