Thank you for being here.
My name is Vasavi.
For the next few minutes,
We're going to create the space for you to feel at home within yourself.
I want to first acknowledge that maybe right now you're feeling lonely,
Maybe depressed.
And the reason why it's important that we acknowledge and name how you feel is because when you name your emotion,
You name your experience,
You acknowledge your current reality exactly as it is with no judgment,
No shame,
Just noticing,
Oh,
I'm feeling a little lonely right now.
Feeling kind of depressed.
We give ourselves permission to be with rather than run from.
You've already taken the first step by hitting play on this audio meditation.
Now begin to get comfortable.
Maybe you're laying down on your back or sitting upright in a chair.
Whatever feels cozy,
Safe and comfortable for you is what matters.
I want you to use your breath to guide you.
Starting at the roof of your head.
Slowly move downwards to your face,
Ears.
Close your eyes,
Your mouth,
Your ears.
Slowly allowing yourself to melt down your neck,
Cross your shoulders down your back,
Down your chest,
Down your torso,
Around your waist,
Across your hips,
Gently caressing your back,
Your bottom,
Behind the thighs,
Your hamstrings,
Behind the knees,
Your quads,
Your calves,
Your shins,
Tops of your feet,
Bottoms of your feet,
Heels,
Toes and relax.
Right now in this moment,
You are with you.
You can never be by yourself when you're with yourself and you are with yourself right now.
Take a deep inhale and slowly exhale.
One more time.
Deep inhale and audible exhale.
Yes,
Allow yourself to relax.
This is the best place in the entire world right now.
You are with yourself.
How beautiful are you?
Look at how far you've come in your life.
That was you who brought you to this point.
Let's begin by expressing our gratitude for every body part,
Every muscle,
Every vein,
Every ligament,
Every cell in our body that has worked to bring us to this point.
You're never alone when you're with yourself.
There's so much to you inside of you,
Through you that is you.
Continue paying attention to the rise and the fall of your chest,
Inhaling and exhaling.
Acknowledge how you feel.
Express gratitude to your body for giving you those signals to let you know,
Hey,
Something doesn't feel right.
It's information for you so that you can check in,
Turn in words.
Gently ask yourself,
What do I need in this moment?
If you listen carefully,
You'll hear something.
It may be a nudge,
A feeling,
A thought,
A spark.
Ask yourself,
What do I need in this moment to feel safe?
What do I need in this moment so I know that I'm not alone?
Show me that I'm not alone.
Surrender to how you feel and ask,
Go within and ask yourself,
What do I need?
Allow whatever you hear to just move through you.
Acknowledge.
Acknowledge what comes up for you.
Make it a commitment to check in with yourself throughout the day and ask yourself,
How am I feeling right now?
And ask yourself,
What do I need right now?
When you pay attention to you and how you feel and you're gentle with yourself and you don't judge yourself for how you feel,
You nurture the deepest parts of you that are waiting to see the sun.
The deepest parts of you that are waiting to be birthed through you,
From you,
And by you.
You have a beautiful opportunity here to transform how you feel.
You don't have to do much.
You just have to listen,
Acknowledge,
Express gratitude for yourself,
Express gratitude for everything you're experiencing.
What is it showing you?
Where is it leading you?
What is becoming available to you as a result?
As you begin to bring yourself back and start to move gently,
Your toes,
Your fingers,
Your arms,
Your legs,
Your stomach.
Trust that the time you've spent turning inwards,
Being with yourself,
Breathing is all working for you in this moment.
There are no accidents.
There are no mistakes.
You are divinely where you need to be right now.
Rest in your ability to create your experience.
Open your eyes,
Smile,
Give yourself a little nod.
Thank you for showing up for yourself today.
My name is Vasavi.
Namaste.
