Spirit Connection,

Module 1,

Being in Flow.

Positivity is a state of mind.

You have to remember that you were born happy.

That being happy,

Being positive,

Loving life is your natural state.

And this is truly the essence of who you are.

And when you have negative feelings like unhappiness,

Anxiety,

Disease,

Anger,

Self-doubt,

Fear,

It's a very,

Very good indicator that you're not in your true essence.

And when we're talking about spiritual connection or disconnection to your source,

Being really aware of these feelings will guide you to the place that you're currently at.

So if you're fearful and you're angry and you're not happy and you're doubting yourself,

It's a green light.

It's a reminder to yourself,

Oh wait,

I'm not connected to my spirit.

What do I need to do to get back to being connected to my spirit?

So we're going to talk about that as we move along.

And whatever you're seeing outside of you,

You've got to remember that your outer world is a reflection of your current inner state of mind.

So internally,

If you're feeling angry,

If you're feeling anxious,

If you just don't feel good about yourself,

That's exactly what you're going to be seeing outside of you.

The reality of life is that sometimes things seem like they're falling apart.

And we think that chaos is normal,

But the fact of the matter is it's a great opportunity for you to look inwards and ask yourself,

Am I creating drama?

Am I making this harder than it needs to be?

What do I need to do to be responsible for my outer world?

What do I need to do to get back to my inner state,

My essence,

To be spiritually connected,

To go back to being the way I was when I was first born,

When I was happy,

When possibilities were endless,

Where anything was possible?

And the fact is,

We think that shit happening is normal,

But it's not.

Things working in your life,

Things flowing in your life,

Being in flow,

Is actually more normal than shit happening.

And I think we forget that the stuff that happens in our life,

The stuff that feels like total breakdowns,

Like we don't know why is this happening to me?

We get stuck in the why,

Why me,

Why me?

It's total victimization,

And it's a way of giving our power away to the outer world.

Just remember that all of it is training for you to become a warrior.

The reason why you are the way you are right now,

Strong,

Powerful,

Even when you don't believe it,

The fact is you are strong,

And you are powerful,

And you are absolutely capable.

So just look back at all the things in your life that have ever happened.

Every single thing that's ever happened to you has primed you to be exactly where you are right now,

To be the warrior that you are right now.

You can do,

Be,

And have anything that you want.

Let's get clear.

Let's get crystal clear.

When you have a challenge that's happening,

You don't have to address it right away.

In fact,

I'm going to recommend that you step back from that challenge for a few hours.

Distract yourself.

And no,

This doesn't mean that you're in denial.

This doesn't mean that you're completely resigned.

It just means that you're taking that time to get back,

To be connected to your spirit.

Anytime we make decisions out of fear,

Think about it.

Does it ever turn out to be a positive outcome?

Absolutely not.

When we're operating from fear,

Anger,

Resentment,

Self-doubt,

Confusion,

Just an angry,

Scattered way of mind,

Nothing good ever comes out of it.

And remember,

Nothing is urgent.

It may seem like you have to do something about it.

If something,

It seems like it's not the way it should be.

Yeah,

Maybe you're right.

Maybe you don't like the current state.

But just remember that if you want things to work out,

You have to be willing to come from your highest and your best self.

And when you're in a place of fear,

Nothing good will ever come out of it.

So you've got to get back to your highest and best self.

And we're going to talk about ways that you can get back to your highest and your best self.

Your spiritual connection is the foundation to all of your success.

Be it God,

Jesus,

Mohammed,

Your higher self,

Universe,

Whatever you want to call it.

That's the connection that you need to get back to.

So if you want to get connected,

Call a friend,

Meditate,

Write in your journal.

All of these things,

All of these actions that you're going to take are an opportunity for you to get back to your essence.

You don't actually have to do anything about the situation at hand.

Your primary responsibility is to get back to your highest and your best self.

Get outdoors and don't come back to the challenge until you are clear.

And only you can determine when you're clear.

Only you can answer that for yourself.

I can tell you from personal experience,

You know,

It's taken me a while to start feeling really what's going on inside of me.

If I'm feeling wavering and if I'm feeling shakeable and I'm just not feeling completely solid then I know that I'm not clear.

There are certain things that only you can determine to get back to that state of clarity.

Is it writing down your thoughts and feelings in a journal?

Is it calling up that friend that you trust and you know has your back?

Is it sitting outside and just praying,

Closing your eyes?

Whatever it is that you got to do,

Make a choice to get back to that.

Ultimately you do have a choice.

You get to choose in every single moment how you want to look at the situation.

There are only two ways that you can look at a situation,

From fear or from love.

You get to choose,

Is your glass half empty or is it half full?

All of it boils down to fear or love.

And you know this.

When you're coming from a place of love,

Anything is possible.

You feel at ease.

You're in flow.

And this module here is really about knowing what that is.

What does that mean when you're coming from a place of love?

How do you feel internally?

We all know what it feels like to come from a place of fear and if you don't,

This is a great opportunity.

When you're not feeling good,

When you're fearful,

When you're scared,

When you feel like the world is out to get you,

When you feel like you have no control in your life,

That's a great indicator that,

Oh,

I'm coming from fear.

Call a friend who's predictably positive.

And what you're going to realize,

The more you start to use these tools to get back to being in flow,

You'll be able to start relying on yourself and realize that you are the source of your success.

But it's important for now to call that friend who's predictably positive,

To write down how you're feeling,

To getting back to that place of love and endless possibility.

What we're essentially talking about here,

When you make that choice,

You're choosing to shift your perspective,

To have that change of insight.

So take anything in your life right now that's causing you disease or anger or self-doubt or fear.

How else can you look at it?

And it's going to be uncomfortable because we're trained to be scared.

We're trained to question things.

We're trained to not trust ourselves.

We're trained to have control,

To try to control everything in our life.

What we're talking about here is just a small shift in perspective.

How else can I look at this situation?

So that's what we're really talking about here,

Just a small shift in perspective.

If you want to get back to being in that flow,

You know what that feels like.

It's when things seem great,

When you feel like you can do anything.

That's actually your natural state.

That's your essence.

And so there are things that you can do.

There are actions that you can take.

So this week,

I want you to write down what are the five things you can do?

Where are the five places you can go to?

What are the things that you can go to when you're feeling crappy?

And it's okay if you feel crappy.

The point here is not to not feel your feelings.

It's to have that go-to.

Okay,

When I'm feeling like this,

This is what I need to do to get back to that feeling.

If you got to sit and be with that crappy feeling,

That's okay.

We're not trying to deny our feelings.

We're not trying to act like they don't exist.

We're just trying to come up with the ways to handle those situations.

When you notice when you're being negative,

This is about retraining your brain by immediately shifting it into a positive mode.

Once again,

This is not about denying.

This is not about sweeping it under the rug.

It's about training your mind so you don't get stuck in that negativity.

Okay,

So when you're having a negative thought,

Oh,

This person isn't being nice to me,

Or I'm not being heard or understood,

These are all thoughts that we have as human beings.

What can you do to retrain your brain?

Sometimes it's as simple as asking yourself,

Is this really true?

Is this person really out to get me?

Is this conversation or this thought feeding my soul?

If it's not feeding your soul or making you feel good,

In that moment,

You can immediately retrain your brain.

Step away.

You're going to have tons of breakdowns in life.

It's a part of life.

Step away and take a break this week every time you're faced with a challenge,

Even if it's just for a few minutes.

I like to call it giving yourself the 24-hour rule.

When you get an email that causes you anxiety,

You don't need to answer it right away because all you're doing is putting more fear out there.

Give yourself permission to step away for a few minutes,

For a few hours,

For a day.

Say,

Okay,

What do I need to do to get back to my highest and my best self so I'm not putting more fear out there,

So I'm not perpetuating this vicious cycle of fear?

And just notice,

If and when you're creating drama,

And we know when we're creating drama,

It's when we're making life harder for ourselves.

It's when we're saying yes,

Even though we want to say no,

And we can hear that voice inside of us,

Oh,

That's not what I really want.

This is about paying attention to yourself.

All the answers that you want are right inside of yourself.

So we're going to be practicing normal and getting responsible.

When I mean normal,

I don't mean to be like everybody else.

We're talking about normal here is about being in flow.

Being in flow is actually a normal way of being,

Being dramatic and creating chaos is not normal.

Although we've been trained to think that drama is normal,

Chaos is normal,

It's not.

So practicing normal here is really about doing what makes you feel good,

Doing what is feeding your soul,

Coming from a place of your highest and your best self,

Choosing from a place that's going to move you forward,

Not have you regress.

And so you have a worksheet with action steps and things to do,

And I want you to take your time with this action sheet.

I want you to actually look at setting aside some time this week,

Sit with it,

Do the work,

Call your accountability buddy,

Post in the Facebook private member group,

But remember you got to do the work to get to where you want to be.

And so take some time.

This is not a race.

This is not a contest.

This is about you really spending that time with yourself.
