Acceptance is the doorway to freedom.
Freedom from suffering.
Acceptance frees us from the prison of our own resistive thoughts.
The only bondage we truly experience is the bondage of the mind,
And unconditional acceptance is the ultimate liberation.
True peace begins the moment we stop fighting what is,
When we are in harmony with life,
Instead of being in conflict with it.
Being in conflict with this moment is a battle we cannot win,
Because it already is.
Therefore,
Life unfolds moment by moment,
Not by my will,
But its own.
I can only work with it,
Not against it.
For example,
I may plan to go to the beach,
But it begins to rain.
Is that in my control?
Can I complain?
Can I make it stop?
But I can work with this moment.
Perhaps I could dance in the rain,
Or simply enjoy a good book at home,
Listening to the soothing sound of the rain streaming through the windows.
Acceptance doesn't mean we don't act.
It simply means we accept what is,
And then respond to the moment wisely.
We don't react,
We respond.
A deep acceptance of everything within is the basis of transformation.
It is realizing,
Deeply,
That the present moment is all I truly have,
And in this moment I can choose to be here,
Fully.
Acceptance nurtures the heart,
Allowing the flower of love to bloom.
Love cannot exist without acceptance.
Accept yourself first,
And acceptance of others will flow naturally.
Accept your strengths and your shortcomings too.
Then it becomes easier to accept others in the same way,
Realizing that everyone is in their own journey.
Simply accept what is.
Trust life and remain in peace.
Usually,
We run towards pleasure and run away from pain,
And this endless running creates suffering.
Acceptance is to be at peace with both,
Since whatever is here in this moment is allowed.
Acceptance doesn't mean life will be without challenges.
It means we meet challenges with our best capacity,
Without the extra weight of resistance and suffering.
God accepts you as you are.
Can you accept yourself as you are?
Can you accept others as they are?
In peace.
Humans use the term,
Rest in peace,
When someone dies.
Why can't we rest in peace while we are alive?
Rest in awareness.
Rest in acceptance.
Rest in peace.
Here and now.
