Welcome back to day two of the human experience.

For today's practice take a comfortable seated or reclined position.

Use this time to adjust yourself so that the rest of our time together is easeful and comfy.

Many times the emptying,

Clearing and cleansing of the vessel is more challenging than we let on.

Although it is in alignment it can bring feelings of discomfort and this doesn't always look as rainbowy as it has been sold to us.

Yet the discomfort doesn't take away the substance and depth found in this undertaking.

Which leads me to today's practice.

In our humanness there are times we forget what the true virtues of being human are.

Instead we succumb to fears and insecurities which leave us and our system vulnerable and easily hijacked by lack.

This lack mentality plagues our decisions,

Actions and interactions.

All of a sudden there isn't enough of anything.

There isn't enough money,

There isn't enough support,

There isn't enough energy.

There aren't enough hours in a day,

Week,

Month and year.

And within seconds our body is flooded with chemicals that alter our state of being.

To bring back the balance we must gently remind ourselves to return to our most abundant nature.

The embracing of what is.

Begin to soften your eyes drawing the attention from the outside world into your inner world.

Using your breath as the guide.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling up your heart space and exhaling out through your nose.

Again inhaling through your nose,

This time going a little deeper filling up your belly and then a full exhalation through your nose.

Two more times on your own.

As you release your last exhale allow your breath to settle into its natural rhythm.

Flooding your present moment awareness into your heart center.

Bring all of your attention to this space.

It is in this warm and spacious place where we begin to alchemize fears and lack into awe and appreciation.

Invoking feelings of gratitude.

Allowing your heart to swell with pure appreciation for this moment in time.

Giving thanks to your body,

To your breath,

To your beating heart,

To the cushion supporting you,

To the room you are in,

To Mama Earth and the nourishment that she provides endlessly.

Feeling the immense gratitude that arises from this place.

Taking time to give thanks for all that is around you.

Now you go ahead and bring to your heart space anything you are so thankful for.

And when you think that you can't think of anything else,

You continue to repeat what you are thankful for.

Even if you can't think of anything else,

Stay in this state of deep appreciation.

Let your intuitive nature take over and melt into gratitude.

A subtle elusive force that permeates your whole being and by its effect overflows into your field and ripples out to all those you encounter.

As you land back into the tenderness of your heart center,

Ponder the following questions.

Can what you have right now be enough?

Can where you are right now be enough?

Can who you are right now be enough?

To seal this feeling,

Place one hand over your heart.

Ever so slowly,

Welcome back movement into your body and whenever you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me today.

A sweet reminder that you can take this practice to accompany you for the rest of your day.

Had a tough day and was feeling a lot of lack in my life. This helped me remember that I truly am so blessed. While I might not be where I want to be, I am thankful for all I am and all that I have in the present 🀍
