Hello friends,
Welcome.
I hope you're having a good day,
Whether it's morning,
Afternoon,
Or evening for you.
I've got a calming meditation for us today,
Focused on self-love and happiness.
In a world that is constantly changing and evolving,
It is easy to feel lost.
It's easy to feel like we have no control.
It's easy to feel like our happiness is not up to us.
Today,
Right here,
Right now,
I want you to remember that you are the writer of your story.
You are in charge of your own life.
Control doesn't have to mean that you get everything you want whenever you want it.
Control is the choices you have.
Control is how you choose to spend your time,
Who you spend it with,
And what you choose to do with it.
If you have choices,
You have control.
Don't ever forget that.
I want you to find a comfortable seated position and close your eyes.
Focus on your inhale and your exhale.
The rise and fall of your chest.
The expansion and contraction with each breath.
Bring your attention to your face.
Are you holding any tension in your jaw,
Behind your eyes,
Or your forehead?
If so,
Allow it to soften and relax.
Allow your lips and cheeks to relax.
And begin to form a smile.
Find something to focus on.
It could be a happy memory or feeling.
Something amusing.
Or simply the love you feel towards friends or family.
If you're holding tension in any part of your body,
Allow your smile to soften that area now.
Smile into the muscles and let them relax.
Bring your awareness to your heart.
Feel the smile and happiness in your chest.
You may want to visualize a pink or green light surrounding your heart.
Let pink represent unconditional love.
And green represent healing.
Hold this focus in your heart center.
Now,
Repeat the following phrase in your mind.
I am responsible for my own happiness.
I am responsible for my own happiness.
I am responsible for my own happiness.
I am responsible for my own happiness.
We're going to have a couple moments of silence now.
If you find yourself getting distracted,
Do not worry about it.
Simply redirect your attention back to your breath.
Repeating this mantra to yourself as many times as you feel like you need to hear it.
I am responsible for my own happiness.
I am responsible for my own happiness.
I am responsible for my own happiness.
I am responsible for my own happiness.
You You You You You It is time to let go of your mantra now I Want you to let it slip away like a cloud in the sky When you're ready Slowly start to wiggle your toes and your fingers Bringing awareness back into your physical body Take a deep inhale raise your arms up above your head Reach your fingers up lengthen your spine On your exhale slowly bring your palms down to your chest When you're ready gently blink open your eyes Thank you so much for practicing with me today Wherever in your day you are.
I hope you have a beautiful day going forward namaste
