As individuals, what we need to do is sift through the noise and find what aligns with us. We all get down. We all have bad days. We all get stuck in a rut sometimes. It is at this time that we need motivation. We need inspiration. If you have found me, and my practice aligns with you then it is my privilege to provide you with the drive to move forward. You can do anything, truly. You just need to want it bad enough and be willing to work for you.

Welcome to day 4 of this 5 day introduction to guided meditation.

We are almost at the end of this journey.

Today our focus will be on the idea of letting go.

In order to let go,

We first need to face what holds us back.

We need to face our fears or worries or pain.

In order to move on,

We need to first make peace with our past.

We need to release the grasp it has on us so that we can move forward,

Lighter,

Happier and free.

We need to let go of the expectations we place on ourselves.

For today's meditation,

I want you to choose how to be.

You may sit,

Lean against a wall,

You may lie down and cover yourself up with a blanket.

Let go of the idea of what you've been told meditation must be or must look like.

Turn inwards,

Listen to what it is you need in this moment.

Wherever you are,

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale with a sigh.

Continue to breathe in this manner.

As you exhale,

Let your muscles relax,

Visualize any tension you might feel leaving your body.

To be the person we are meant to be,

We need to let go of the idea of who we should be.

In order to be our best and truest selves,

We must let go of any expectations we have of what that has to look like.

By letting go of the limits we put on ourselves with our beliefs and expectations,

We open up our lives to endless possibilities.

Suddenly anything and everything is possible.

Take a deep breath in,

Exhale with a sigh.

You may choose to repeat the following mantra to yourself out loud or silently.

I let go of limiting beliefs,

Of pain,

Of expectations.

I let go and open my life up to endless possibilities.

I let go of limiting beliefs,

Of pain,

Of expectations.

I let go and open my life up to endless possibilities.

Hold on to this mantra as we sit still for a few minutes.

Wherever you are,

Raise your arms above your head and stretch out your body.

Spend a few moments enjoying the feeling of relaxation.

We will end our meditation here today.

Have a wonderful day.

Namaste.
