As individuals what we need to do is sift through the noise and find what aligns with us. We all get down, we all have bad days, we all get stuck in a rut sometimes, it is at this time that we need motivation, we need inspiration. If you have found me, and my practice aligns with you then it is my privilege to provide you with the drive to move forward. You can do anything, truly. You just need to want it bad enough and be willing to work for you.

Welcome to day three of this five-day introduction to guided meditation.

Today,

Our focus is forgiveness.

Specifically,

We're going to work on forgiving ourselves.

We are only human.

We make mistakes.

We get jealous.

We act from places of hurt and pain.

We are only human.

In order to move past our mistakes,

We need to first forgive ourselves.

We need to let go of our shortcomings and faults.

We need to forgive ourselves more than we need to wait for forgiveness from others.

In order to be the best versions of ourselves,

We need to accept that we are not perfect.

Our past does not define our future.

Right here,

Right now,

The choices and the words that we use is what is important.

To exist today in peace,

We need to learn from and forgive ourselves for the mistakes of our past.

Start by finding a comfortable seated position.

Place your hands on your knees,

Palms facing up.

Focus on your inhale and exhale for a few breaths.

Notice the power you have to calm yourself down by simply slowing down your breath.

Together,

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

We are often our worst critics.

We are usually the hardest on ourselves.

This can be a good but also a bad thing.

It's good to have goals and high expectations for yourself.

But when the pressure of these things turn into negative self-talk is when we need to take a step back.

Before we can ask someone else to love us,

We need to first love ourselves.

The same way,

Before we can ask someone else to forgive us,

We need to first forgive ourselves.

We need to do this with no judgment or expectations.

We need to believe that we are enough.

Bring your attention back to your breath.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

I want you to repeat the following mantra,

Either out loud or silently.

I forgive myself.

I love myself.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I forgive myself.

I love myself.

I choose to be stronger and better.

Let these words soak in.

Feel them all the way in your bones.

Let them be a guiding light in your life.

I forgive myself.

I love myself.

I choose to be stronger and better.

As we settle in for a few moments of silence,

Repeat these words to yourself as many times as you feel like you need to hear them.

I love myself.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.

I choose to be stronger and better.
