A Gentle Meditation for Clarity & Inner Guidance. This calming meditation invites you to slow down, regulate your nervous system, and connect with your inner wisdom as you receive a guiding word for the year ahead. Rather than setting rigid goals or resolutions, this practice helps you uncover a single word that reflects the energy and intention your soul is calling in for 2026. Your word becomes an anchor—offering clarity, grounding, and reassurance during moments of uncertainty, transition, or emotional overwhelm. Through gentle breathwork, grounding, and intuitive visualization, you’ll be guided to release what no longer needs to come with you and open yourself to what wants to emerge next. There is nothing to force—only an invitation to listen inward and trust what arises. Return to this meditation anytime you need to reconnect with your word and realign with the energy you’re choosing to embody in 2026. Music from Epidemic Sound

Hello,

My name is Valerie and I'm a holistic health coach,

Somatic healing practitioner and nervous system guide.

I support women who are going through life transitions,

Helping them come back into their bodies,

Reconnect with themselves and move forward with clarity and calm.

This meditation is an invitation to slow down and listen inward.

Rather than setting resolutions or forcing goals,

We're allowing a single word to emerge.

A word that will gently guide you through 2026.

This word isn't about pressure or perfection.

It's about resonance.

It's meant to offer you inspiration,

Hope,

Grounding and connection,

Especially during those moments when life feels uncertain and overwhelming.

Your word will become an anchor,

Something you can return to when your nervous system feels taxed,

When you're at a crossroads or when you need to remember what truly matters to you.

There's no right or wrong word here.

There's nothing to figure out or force.

All you need to do is show up,

Breathe and allow your inner wisdom to speak.

When you're ready,

Let's begin.

Getting comfortable into your space,

Just allow your body to settle in to the surface beneath you,

Let your shoulders drop down and soften,

Unclench your jaw.

Relaxing the hands,

Feeling the fingers relax.

Take a slow inhale through your nose and a longer exhale through the mouth.

Again,

Inhale gently and exhale,

Releasing any tension you've been holding.

Let's do one more like that.

Go ahead and inhale again and exhale.

Let your nervous system know it is safe to slow down.

As you do this,

We're going to bring awareness to the base of your body,

Feeling the weight of your legs,

Your hips,

Your feet.

Imagine roots extending from you into the earth,

Steady,

Supportive and present.

You don't need to go anywhere.

You don't need to figure anything out.

We're just simply arriving,

Feeling this grounded connection to the earth.

Now,

I'd like you to go ahead and gently bring to mind the year that is completing.

Without judgment,

Just notice what this past year asked of you.

The lessons,

The growth,

The moments that stretched you.

Just take a moment now to reflect upon those moments.

Now,

As you reflect,

I invite you to check in and see what are you ready to release?

What no longer needs to come with you?

With each exhale,

Imagine setting those things down.

We don't have to carry them forward anymore.

Go ahead and set them down.

Even if you need to take a big sigh,

Letting it go.

Now,

Imagine yourself standing at the doorway of the new year.

Ahead of you is 2026.

Unwritten,

Open,

Alive with possibility.

Notice how your body feels as you look toward this new chapter.

Not how you think you should feel,

But how you actually feel.

Let that sensation guide you.

Silently ask yourself,

What quality does my soul need in 2026?

What energy wants to guide me this year?

You're not asking yourself for the perfect word.

You're just allowing one to find you.

Imagine a soft light in front of you.

From this light,

A word begins to form.

It may arrive clearly,

It may come as a feeling at first,

And it may surprise you.

But trust whatever appears,

Whatever happens,

Just trust.

Trust what the first word is that comes forward for you.

Let this word represent how you want to feel.

How you want to move through life.

How you want to respond to challenges.

And how you want to show up for yourself.

Take a moment to receive it.

Now,

Gently bring this word into your body.

Imagine it settling into your heart,

Or your belly,

Or wherever feels right.

Notice how your nervous system responds when you hold this word.

As your breath softens,

As your body expands,

Does anything become unclenched?

This word is not a demand,

It's an invitation.

A guide,

A reminder,

A touchstone for the year ahead.

Silently repeat your word to yourself.

Let it echo.

You don't need to force it to mean anything yet.

Its wisdom will unfold over time.

Know that you can return to this word whenever you feel uncertain,

Overwhelmed,

Or disconnected.

It is here to support you.

Begin to bring awareness back to your breath.

Feeling the ground beneath you once more.

Wiggling the fingers and toes as you gently come back.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

Carry your word with you into 2026.

Not as pressure,

But as presence.

May your word bring you comfort as we go through our new year.

Blessings to you.

Thank you.
