This practice supports grounded bravery, inner safety, and Self-leadership — helping you step into your day with steadiness, trust, and an open heart. Welcome,

Dear one.

This is your self-led morning practice,

A sacred space to begin your day connected and anchored in self-energy.

Each morning we meet one of the original qualities of your essence,

The natural energies that live within your soul.

Today we awaken courage,

The aspect of self that steps forward even when fear is present,

That trusts your inner strength and meets life with an open,

Courageous heart.

Take a moment to anchor into your seat.

Allow your breath to find its natural rhythm,

Flowing in and out.

With each inhale,

Arrive a little more.

With each exhale,

Release what is not needed.

As you gently deepen your breath,

Begin scanning your body from the inside.

Notice what is here today.

Notice how the quality of courage feels in your system this morning.

Is it present?

Awake?

Does it feel strong?

Or is there something that abstracts your access to courage?

Sometimes,

Courage feels deemed when parts carry fears.

Fear of meeting the world.

Fear of starting the day.

Fear of other people.

Fear of the future.

If any of these fears are here this morning,

Let them know they are welcome here.

It's okay to be here.

And,

As you gently turn towards those parts of you,

Bring their self-compassion and a pinch of curiosity.

Offer this morning your compassionate presence to a part that might be hesitant to step forward today.

No matter what these parts are going through,

Just welcome them with kindness and openness.

So,

From a place of compassion,

Let those that are scared or overwhelmed know that it's okay.

It's okay to feel scared.

It's okay to feel unsure.

Let them know you don't have to be any different at this moment.

Fear doesn't mean something's wrong.

It simply means a protector is trying to keep you safe.

Now you may make this courageous next step and invite all fearful parts,

Unsure parts to turn around and look you in the eyes.

Let them see you.

Let them see who you are today.

Let them see your age,

Your now,

Your maternity,

Your strength,

The agency you have in your life.

That sense of choice that they might not have had when they first felt afraid long time ago.

And from a place of who you are today,

Let these parts know I have grown.

I'm not a young child anymore.

I can handle more than you think I can.

I've got you.

So let this land in your system.

Invite all the scared parts to see the self within you,

The wise,

Steady presence that holds fear with tenderness,

Yet moves toward life anyway.

Let them know today I'm ready to trust myself a little more.

Today I have the courage to try again.

Today I have the courage to step into something new.

And let this self-presence within you gently meet all parts.

Let them see that they are not alone anymore and they have you.

And if the scared parts start feeling a little bit more reassured and safe and seen by you,

You might notice that they soften a little bit.

And as the doubt,

Fear,

Anxiety softens,

Notice how you experience the energy of courage now in your body.

And if there is more awareness of who you are today,

If there is more access to the natural energy of courage that is always there,

You may invite courage to slowly begin to fill your body,

Your belly,

Your heart,

Your shoulders,

Your throat,

Your entire system.

Allow that natural courage to fully emerge from you,

From self.

Soft stable unwavering.

And the steady unwavering energy of courage can hold parts that are scared and those parts they don't have to disappear.

They simply can be held,

Comforted and reassured by self,

Courageous self.

And so let them know,

You can stay with me today,

But you don't have to lead.

I will take the lead.

Allow this grounded,

Mature bravery moving through your system as you greet the world today.

And now begin to sense your surroundings again,

The air,

Sounds,

Things around you.

Let the quality you've touched today,

Courage,

Be the energy that guides your day.

Let it infuse your actions,

Your choices,

Your voice,

And the way you meet life.

Take one last deep breath and as you exhale,

Feel yourself grounded,

Supported,

And ready to meet the day from self.
