Hello beautiful women.
Welcome.
Today I would like to talk about the relationship with our period,
Time of menstruation.
How is your relationship with your period?
Do you keep on going and functioning as normally?
Or do you take time and rest?
In the past I didn't have a healthy relationship with my period and my feminine side.
I was rejecting it and seeing it as something inconvenient.
I didn't care whether I was on my moon or not.
I was functioning as any other day of the month,
Working,
Doing high intensity exercises and sports.
I was denying my needs and pushing through.
I was craving lots of sugar that kept me going.
The world didn't slow down so I was trying to keep up.
I was rejecting my feminine side because it felt weak and not good enough.
At times I was experiencing cramps and physical pain during my period.
I was feeling tired and I didn't feel like doing anything at all.
And I felt guilt and shame and disappointment,
Rejection and failure.
It was a struggle.
I was judging myself and I hated my period.
I remember those tampon ads on TV.
Just get a tampon and all your problems will be solved.
You can do anything you want.
It sounded like an amazing solution.
But there is one thing.
It absorbs my blood but I'm still bleeding so it means I'm losing energy.
And when a person hurts himself and is bleeding,
No one expects this bleeding person to come to work and show up as any other day of the month.
So when I'm on my period I'm bleeding so it means I'm losing energy.
So I have the right to feel tired.
I have the right to rest.
There's nothing wrong with me.
But I never looked at this way until years later.
During my teenage years I had limited education about being a woman and haven't seen many examples of women in their feminine energy.
So I was functioning more in my boy masculine energy,
Going and doing all month long because everyone else was.
This was my reality.
Only years later when I started connecting to my feminine side I understood that all these years I was functioning in a more masculine way.
And the more I started accepting my cyclic nature,
Tuning into my feminine energy and listening to my body's needs,
The more I felt in peace and acceptance with my femininity.
I chose and created a new experience for myself.
Now I accept myself as a woman.
And I choose to treat myself well and transform my relationship with my period.
I'm bringing the wisdom of the woman cycle and my femininity into my life and my relationship.
I talk with my partner about my period,
My cycle,
What is happening to my body,
How my emotions are changing.
And when possible I choose to plan accordingly to my cycle.
When we want to travel I look into my calendar.
And if the day is around my moon time,
My period,
We try to find a different date when possible.
Because we both know this is not the best time for me to travel or go on adventure.
I will naturally have less energy,
I will feel more tired.
So it would feel more like a struggle.
My partner hears me and we create a solution that works for both of us.
When I'm on my moon,
On my period,
I find time to rest and recharge my batteries.
I feel more tired,
I need to sleep more.
My energy levels change during the day.
So I notice this and I work when I have more energy and rest when I'm low in energy.
If I'm busy during the day and can't take day off,
I make sure I have time for myself in the evening so I can just be and rest and maybe just look out of the window,
Just do nothing,
To be able to reflect and recharge.
We women are like superwomen.
We keep on going,
Doing,
Giving,
Helping and supporting others all month long.
We do so many things and that is amazing.
But it is good to make time to recharge so we can give from the overflow.
So find time for yourself the next time you have your period and rest.
Take this opportunity to recharge and reflect.
You might feel less resistance towards your period then and you will have more energy the following month.
I invite you.
Take a moment and think about your relationship with your feminine and your period.
Do you push through or do you find time to rest and connect with your feminine essence?
If you could create a new vision for yourself,
What would you like to experience?
How would you like to feel during your period?
Maybe feeling more feminine,
More rested,
More relaxed,
Supported,
Accepted,
Understood,
Having time to rest.
Just connecting with this new vision,
These feelings and emotions that you would like to experience.
Dream big.
I hope this serves you well.
My name is Tina and it was my pleasure to share my passion for women's cycle with you.
Have a beautiful day!
