Welcome,

Beautiful soul,

To this guided meditation.

And just take some time to either find a comfortable seat,

Lying down,

Whatever feels good for you.

There's no right or wrong.

Make any adjustments you need to be nice and comfortable.

When you arrive,

Just bring those eyes to a soft and gentle close.

Starting to relax and soften the whole face,

The shoulders,

And the whole body.

As you start to notice your body deeply connected to the surface beneath you.

Feeling the pressure of your body making the connection to the floor,

Chair.

Just noticing yourself here.

And starting to become aware now just the entire body.

The entire body just being here.

Feeling the deep heaviness,

Stillness,

Relaxation.

So you just notice your body being here.

And really keeping your focus and attention just on the body,

On you being here.

Noticing all effort.

Knowing there's no need to try and focus.

But just be with what is.

Which in this exact moment,

No matter what thoughts,

Emotions,

Scenarios,

Past or future,

The mind is talking about or creating that may seem very important.

The reality of this moment is you just being here.

Just keeping the attention and the whole body just sitting here.

No need to fight or battle,

Entertain,

Fix on any thought.

For thoughts for all of us are just simply things that are impermanent.

Movement in mind that simply comes and goes.

But notice that you,

The body,

The stillness,

You remain.

Stay with that stillness that remains,

That is you.

And if it feels okay,

Maybe bringing one hand to rest onto your heart and just dropping your awareness.

The thoughts seem to still be coming and going,

Dropping that awareness into your heart.

Notice the ebb and flow of the breath effortlessly here.

Watching that in this space is eternal and pure stillness.

Watch yourself rest here.

Choosing to not get caught up in the impermanent,

But being here has the stillness that you already are.

J Knowing there's no trying here.

No trying to still the mind.

Just let yourself rest.

Nothing to do.

And slowly when you feel ready.

Just relaxing that hand back down.

Noticing once again the whole body just being here.

Noticing the parts of your body that are making connection with the surface beneath you.

Feeling that sensation of touch,

Connection,

Even pressure.

Notice the stillness within you.

Be with it.

Be in this moment exactly as it is.

Free from all illusion,

Story,

Fighting,

Controlling,

And changing.

It's unnecessary and not needed.

You can rest and just be.

And when you feel ready,

Just start to notice your breath.

Let's take a deep breath in together.

Cleansing long breath out.

Let it go.

When you feel ready,

Gently blinking the eyes open.

Noticing the space around you.

Bringing your hands to prayer at your heart.

Bowing in,

Honoring the stillness and peace that already is.

Thank you for letting me be your guide.

Go in peace.

Namaste.
