In your mind,

I'd like you to either visualize or imagine a room.

This can be any room,

But a room of your choice.

A room where you feel totally safe and secure.

A room where you're always in control.

Now in your mind,

I'd like you to locate the wall in front of you.

And simply allow your mind's eye to reach out and touch that wall.

Just so that you know that it's there.

Good.

And when you're ready,

Please draw back into your body all of the positive energy from that wall.

Bring it right back into the center of your being.

So that you feel safe and secure and always in complete control.

Good.

Now in your mind,

I'd like you to locate the wall behind you and simply allow your mind's eye to reach out and touch the wall behind you.

Good.

And when you're ready,

Please draw back into your body all of the positive energy from that wall.

Bring it right back into the center of your being.

So that you feel safe,

Secure,

And always in complete control.

Good.

Now locating the wall to your left.

Simply allow your mind's eye to reach out and touch that wall.

Good.

And when you're ready,

Please draw back into your body all of the positive energy from that wall.

Bring it right back into the center of your being.

So that you feel safe,

Secure,

And always in complete control.

Good.

And one last time now.

Always locate the wall to your right and simply allow your mind's eye to reach out and touch that wall beside you.

Good.

And when you're ready,

Please draw back into your body all of the positive energy from that wall.

Bring it right back into the center of your being.

So that you feel safe,

Secure,

And always in complete control.

Good.

As you continue to unwind and relax,

I'd like you to be aware of the sounds around you.

Perhaps you hear someone talking or a phone ringing or people walking inside or out.

Maybe you can hear dogs barking or doors opening and closing or perhaps cars driving by.

Maybe you hear the sound of water running or a furnace or air conditioner starting up.

It doesn't matter what it is or whether it's a sound you hear now or something you hear later.

Just know that you're in total control of the situation and because you are,

You can allow these sounds to become part of the process.

You can allow these sounds to help you relax and go deeper into a calm,

Peaceful state.

Deeper and deeper into a feeling of safety and security.

As we go about this session today,

You may notice thoughts drifting into your mind.

Sometimes you may even find yourself not listening to the sound of my voice.

That's okay because your subconscious mind is listening even when your conscious mind is thinking about other things.

If you find your mind drifting off to other thoughts,

Simply imagine those thoughts are like clouds.

Clouds that drift into your mind and right back out again.

And when they're gone,

You'll find yourself able to focus again on the sound of my voice.

But remember,

Your subconscious mind is always listening even when your conscious mind is thinking about other things.

So it's okay if your conscious mind isn't listening,

As your subconscious mind will always hear me.

Whatever happens is perfect for you today.

When you're ready,

Begin to feel all the muscles in your forehead completely relaxing.

You can gently scrunch them up if you like and relax them down.

Relaxing down.

Feel all the muscles in your cheeks loosening and relaxing down.

And the muscles around your nose loosening and relaxing down.

Good.

Relaxing your ears now.

Letting go of any tension you may be holding in your ears.

You're doing great.

And if you will,

Wiggle your jaw a little bit and just let any tension you've been carrying in your jaw completely release.

Good.

Please take a deep breath in through your nose.

Hold for a few seconds and slowly release it out through your mouth.

Good.

Now begin to feel,

If you will,

Your chest muscles starting to relax.

Feel your breathing return to its normal rhythm.

And if you like,

You can give a simple command to your organs,

Telling them to relax down deeper.

Telling them to function normally.

Function healthfully.

Function properly.

Good.

And when you're ready,

Feel the muscles in your stomach letting go and releasing.

Good.

Allow your breath to move fully into your belly as your belly expands with the inhale of your breath.

Good.

And now when you're ready,

Feel the muscles in the front of your thighs tightening and relax them down now.

Good.

Moving that relaxation down into your knees.

Please take a deep breath in through your nose.

Good.

And slowly exhale as you imagine releasing all the tension from your knees out with your breath.

Good.

And again,

Breathing in through your nose.

And releasing any tension in your knees out through your mouth.

Good.

Slowly beginning to feel that relaxation move down into your shins,

Down into your ankles,

And down into the tops of your feet.

Good.

And when you're ready,

Allow that relaxation to move right into the bottoms of your feet.

We spend so much time on our feet every day that it's time to allow your feet the relaxation they deserve so that now your whole body is completely relaxed.

Excellent.

I'd like you now to imagine or see in your mind's eye a beautiful staircase.

The staircase may be inside or outside,

Whichever you desire.

Notice the steps are large and there's a handrail on both sides.

As I begin to count from 10 down to 1,

Feel yourself moving down these stairs slowly,

Safely,

And deeply.

Ten.

Nine.

Eight.

Seven.

Six.

Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

Deeply relaxed,

Allowing your mind and body to become even more comfortable and relaxed.

Now that you're completely relaxed,

Completely calm,

I'm going to speak directly to your subconscious mind.

Your conscious mind may wish to listen,

But I'm speaking directly to your subconscious mind.

Now subconscious mind,

I know there is a part of you that wishes to experience life to the fullest,

To be all that you can be,

To shine brightly,

And now is that time.

You've experienced this lifetime fully immersing yourself in the situations that you've been exposed to,

And as such,

You have a wealth of knowledge,

Products,

Instincts,

Instances,

Emotions and creativity from which to draw.

Your mind is a filing cabinet with a wealth of knowledge unparalleled by the most extensive library in the world,

And now it's time to draw from this library,

To be all that you can be.

Let us begin with the experience of feeling confident.

Confidence is a feeling of certainty,

Certainty in your abilities,

Certainty in events which you believe will occur,

A certainty in yourself.

You have felt confidence in your life,

And now you're going to remember what it felt like to be confident.

Think now of a time in your life when you felt confident.

Perhaps it was when as a youngster you mastered the art of tying your shoes.

You became confident when you realized that you could every time with certainty tie your shoes.

Or perhaps when you learned to ride a two-wheeled bicycle,

At first it was difficult for you,

But then you learned how to balance,

How to steer,

How to pedal,

And now when you get on a bike,

You're completely confident that you can ride it.

Imagine in your mind your experience of confidence.

See what you saw then,

Hear what you heard then.

Notice any fragrances of that time,

And touch the things you touched then.

Now notice the feelings in your body that have come with this confidence.

Perhaps you feel powerful,

Or happy,

Secure,

Trusting,

Sure of yourself.

You have access to these feelings at all times,

And from now on,

You will access them easily using the following method.

As you notice the feelings in your body,

Please touch your index finger to your thumb.

Say to yourself,

Confidence,

Confidence,

Confidence.

From this moment forward,

Whenever you touch your index finger to your thumb,

You instantly feel confident.

Good.

Now release your finger and thumb.

Part of feeling confident and increasing your self-esteem is to have the experience of feeling successful.

You have had the feeling of successful in your lives,

For everyone is successful at something.

Think back in your mind now,

And remember a time when you were successful.

This time may be as simple as bringing a piece of art home from school,

For which your parents delighted and put it on the fridge.

Perhaps you did well at an assignment or project,

Or won an award for an achievement,

Or perhaps you successfully did something that you didn't think you could do.

Imagine that time now.

Engage all of your senses.

See what you saw.

Hear what you heard.

Feel any familiar fragrances,

And feel the things you touched as you enjoyed your success.

Feel in your body what success feels like for you.

As you feel a sense of pride,

Excitement,

Happiness,

An open heart,

A sense of freedom,

And trust in yourself.

As you feel these feelings of success,

Touch your index finger to your thumb and say to yourself,

Success,

Success,

Success.

From this moment forward,

Whenever you touch your index finger to your thumb,

You instantly feel successful and confident.

Good.

Now release your finger and thumb.

Another important component in the development of your self-esteem and confidence is trust.

Trust in yourself and trust in the flow of life.

Trusting yourself means that no matter what you experience in life,

You handle it appropriately in the best way that you can and with integrity.

Trusting in the flow of life means that you keep your thoughts focused on the present moment to experience it fully,

While not giving into stories or worries about the past or the future.

Worrying about the past and the future is attaching meaning to something that simply doesn't exist and takes away from your enjoyment and experience of the present.

Imagine in your mind a time when you experienced trust in yourself.

Perhaps you trusted yourself to keep a commitment you made and you did.

Perhaps you trust yourself to remember to lock the door to your home when you leave.

You know you are trustworthy to others and to yourself,

So imagine that feeling right now.

See yourself doing things that foster trust.

Engage all of your senses as you imagine it.

Feel what trusting yourself feels like in your body.

A sense of ease,

Peace and accomplishment.

Now imagine that you trust the flow of life.

Each morning you trust that the sun will rise,

That no matter what,

The day will end and whatever you experienced in the day,

It will work itself out the way that it will.

That even if what happens is not what we always want,

It's always for the highest and best good,

Even if we don't see that at the time.

Imagine with all your senses what it feels like to trust the flow of life.

Notice how you can let go of worry and fear because what will happen will happen and worry and fear won't change it.

The flow of life is eternal and it can be trusted to continue indefinitely.

Feel your shoulders drop,

Your stomach relax and all tension and stress dissolve as you come to this realization.

This is trust in the flow of life.

Now touch your index finger to your thumb and say to yourself,

Trust in myself and the flow of life.

Trust in myself and the flow of life.

Trust in myself and the flow of life.

From this moment forward,

When you touch your index finger to your thumb,

You instantly feel confident,

Successful and trusting of yourself and the flow of life.

Good.

Now release your finger and thumb.

There is one last concept that you must understand and it could perhaps be the most important of all to feeling confident and that is that you are perfect exactly as you are.

The human body and mind is astounding in its ability and complexity.

It has the power to reason,

To think,

To heal,

To protect,

To feel emotion.

It is a work of art,

A marvel,

A miracle.

It simply is a human body and mind and to accept it as anything less is simply a story that has been created to describe it.

No one is old,

Young,

Fat,

Thin,

Beautiful,

Ugly,

Smart or slow.

Those are simply stories.

But those stories have been powerful over your lifetime and when repeated often enough,

You began to believe them.

You can let them go now.

You are a body and a mind and that body and mind are perfect,

Whole and complete exactly as they are.

You have caught glimpses of this perfection throughout your life.

Perhaps when you felt inspired or creative,

When you were in love or doing something that you loved or when you were injured and your body healed itself.

Imagine a time when you realized your perfection.

See what you saw.

Hear what you heard.

Feel what you felt in your body.

Notice the feelings of joy,

Happiness,

Bliss that you were truly part of life and its miracle.

Now touch your index finger and thumb together and repeat in your mind,

Perfection,

Perfection,

Perfection.

From this moment forward,

When you touch your index finger and thumb together,

You instantly feel confident,

Successful,

Trusting of yourself and the flow of life and your perfection.

Good.

Now release your finger and thumb.

Now these feelings can be brought into your daily life.

When you encounter a situation where you wish to feel more confident,

Successful,

Trusting of yourself and the flow of life and your perfection,

Simply touch your index finger and thumb together and you'll bring forward those feelings.

The more you practice this technique,

The stronger these feelings will become.

Reinforcing one upon the other to increase the feelings 100-fold each time you do it.

Beautiful.

And now as the session draws to a close,

Know that you are forever changed for you are now the confident,

Successful,

Perfect person who trusts in themselves and the flow of life.

In a moment,

I'm going to count from 1 up to 5.

With each number I count,

You'll find yourself easily and comfortably coming back to the room,

Back to your body.

With each number that I count,

You'll find the feelings of confidence,

Success,

Trust and perfection intensifying in each and every cell of your body.

With each number that I count,

You'll feel refreshed and energized.

And when I say the number 5,

You'll find yourself fully awake,

Fully refreshed and ready to take on your day.

1.

Easily,

Comfortably,

You begin to return your awareness to your body and the room.

2.

Waves of confidence and unconditional love course through every cell of your body.

3.

As you come back to your awareness,

So too does the awareness present to you of all the incredible and vital part of this reality that you are.

4.

Starting to wiggle fingers and toes as you feel physically perfect,

Mentally perfect,

Refreshed and energized.

And 5.

Fully awake,

Fully aware,

Feeling incredible.

And when you're ready,

You can stretch and say to yourself,

Wide awake.

I really needed this meditation in my life! Even though I slightly drifted off towards the end and forgot what the last one was. Confidence, suggestions, trusting in yourself & life flow, and.... ? 😥 so embarrassing! I am not sure anyone can reply to these comments but I'll just have to listen to it again! (Even if I remembered!) Because I truly feel a change in me! As I always do with your meditations! Thank you! 🙏🏻💞
