Welcome to a brand new day.

Let's focus on your morning light.

I'm Carla,

A mindful meditation coach from TravelingTulips.

Com.

I invite you to start this day by breathing slowly and deeply.

As you're able,

Try to only breathe in and out through your nose.

So in through the nose and out through the nose.

Slow inhale,

Slow exhale.

Feel free to get comfortable.

This meditation can be completed in any position,

But seated or lying down with eyes closed is recommended.

Since I will be asking you to use your imagination,

I'll give you a few moments to get settled.

If any part of you feels like you're holding on to any tension,

Give yourself permission to stop and just let it go temporarily.

Continue taking those slow,

Deep breaths,

Letting any negative thoughts,

Emotions,

Stress or anxiety be cleared from your mind temporarily as you focus on connecting with your breath and finding your breathing rhythm.

I like to inhale for a count of four and exhale for a count of four.

You may prefer a different count.

What's important is that you feel supported.

This is a brand new day.

Give yourself permission to even change up that breathing pattern if it's not working for you.

Continue taking slow,

Deep breaths,

Allowing yourself to become even more connected with yourself and to ease into this space of comfort.

Continue to take slow,

Deep breaths,

Allowing yourself to become even more connected with yourself and your inner life.

Each deep inhale and slow exhale.

Imagine this light shining from within.

Beautiful,

Bright.

It can be in any color you desire and in any shape.

A straight line,

Even a bubble surrounding you.

Anything.

Keep focused on generating that light.

If you struggle to generate this light,

Be gentle with yourself and continue to focus on your breath.

Your light still shines.

It may just be challenging for you to imagine it at this time.

And that's okay.

Be gentle with yourself.

We often tend to dim our light out of fear or anxieties or those negative voices,

Both internal and external.

This dimming to limit our capacity for achieving the things we want to accomplish.

This,

A day where you are intentional,

Letting your light shine.

Allow this light to be the sense of comfort.

Positivity will be there for you throughout your day.

You need to feel safe,

Protected,

And nurtured.

Allow this light to remind you of the strength and determination you can access whenever needed.

Reminding you that this slow,

Deep breath can be used by you any time assisting you to face the challenges of the day.

With each deep breath,

Allow this light to help you remain strong and centered.

Throughout the day,

Challenges may arise.

People may try your patience.

You may even have negative thoughts about yourself.

Know that you are not alone.

Shine your light and be mindful and present throughout your day.

Let this powerful light and this compassionate breath stay with you throughout your day and be accessible whenever you need them.

As you're ready,

Start bringing your awareness back to the space you are in and to your body.

Now,

I invite you to take three intentional inhales in through the nose and exhales out through the mouth.

With each exhale,

Allowing your shoulders to fall,

Releasing any tension you may be carrying.

As you're ready,

Inhale through the nose,

Exhale through the mouth,

Letting your shoulders fall.

Again,

Inhale through the nose,

Exhale through the mouth,

Letting your shoulders fall.

One more time together,

Inhale and exhale.

Gently wiggle your toes,

Your nose,

Your fingers.

If your eyes are closed,

When you're ready,

I invite you to slowly open them.

Remember to set your intentions for the day and let your light shine.
