Welcome to group guided meditation.

Today we're gonna do a meditation on working on our inner child and being more playful and more joyous and happy in our life.

I just ate something.

I pre-gamed eating some sort of fruit chewy thing and so now it's all in my teeth,

But we're gonna do this anyway.

So sit up nice and straight.

Your eyes are closed.

And my invitation to you is to follow along with my voice as you take a deep breath in.

And exhale all the air out.

And again,

Take a deep breath in.

And exhale.

And one more time,

Take a deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Know that in this moment,

All is well.

All is well.

Now that you are starting to become more relaxed,

Make sure you are following your breath.

And let's focus on becoming more playful.

Everyone has the ability to be playful.

Playfulness is a trait that we all have inside,

But sometimes we forget.

The ability to be playful is important because it allows you to experience joy.

And joy is a very vulnerable feeling.

Take a moment now and remember a time,

Maybe your most recent time,

That you felt joy.

Becoming more playful allows you to respond to challenges with humor and lightheartedness instead of always feeling serious or becoming defensive.

And it's important to find this balance.

When is the last time you felt too happy to be defensive?

Too joyful to take things overly seriously,

Overly serious.

Take a moment to see a time,

To feel a time in your own heart where you just felt like a child,

Just felt playful.

Where you were playful maybe as a child,

As an adolescent,

As an adult.

Maybe it's hard to recall a time where you were feeling truly playful,

And that's okay.

You still have a playful inner child that you can nurture.

Create a mental picture now of yourself when you were a child.

Imagine your playfulness and childlike self and create all the details.

What did you look like?

How did you behave?

What was it like to feel free and playful?

See yourself as this child,

Imagining the details.

And take a moment as yourself now and be grateful for your ability to play as a child.

Feel how it feels in your heart to have no worries and nothing that is overwhelming you.

As an adult,

It's hard to find those times sometimes,

But in those moments,

Finding this inner human and this inner human,

This inner human,

Inner enjoyment is important sometimes to find the balance so that we don't overstress.

And you deserve to be happy and to feel joy,

To feel that vulnerable feeling of joy,

Not worrying about feeling it because it might go away,

But really sitting in it.

And as you concentrate now on your heart and the word joy,

See who you are now as somebody that is bringing in more playfulness into their life,

More innocence,

More self-love and a deeper feeling every minute of the day,

A deeper feeling of joy.

And take a deep breath in and exhale all the air out.

And take another deep breath in and exhale.

And one more time,

Take a deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Come back into the space that you're in and exhale all the air out.

Come back into the space that you're in and when you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Good.

Well,

This is a great meditation if you're stressing out all the time or any time,

Just to take a moment and remember to find the balance because we can take shit very seriously and sometimes it's important to take it seriously and sometimes it's good to find that playful balance.

Okay.

You are everything you are looking for.

Have a beautiful rest of your day and I'll see you again soon for our guided meditation.

Okay.

Bye.

Meet your Teacher
