Welcome,
Wonderful soul.
I'm Sara.
Thank you for choosing me to guide you today to transform your negative self-talk to manifest your best self.
Find a comfortable place where you will be free of distractions.
Close the door on the past and the future.
Embrace the present.
Be present,
Be the gift you are waiting for.
You can be seated or lying down.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Feel your lungs and belly,
And then breathe out through the mouth with a sigh.
Let go of your external worries,
Duties,
And tasks.
Breathe in through the nose,
Feel your body with fresh,
Nourishing air,
And breathe out through the mouth with a sigh to let go of tension,
Constrictions,
Negativity.
Breathe in through the nose,
Hold it,
Feel whole,
And breathe out through the mouth,
Emptying your body from everything that doesn't serve you.
Hold,
Feel relaxed.
Breathe in through the nose,
Appreciate the fresh,
Healing air,
Filling you up from top to bottom.
Hold.
Breathe out through the nose,
Long,
Deep exhale,
And remove all the weight and worries from your system.
Hold.
Avoid the relaxing and grounding sensation.
Breathe in through the nose,
Hold,
And breathe out through the nose.
Continue by yourself,
Be present to the sensations of lightness,
Calm,
And peace.
Now,
Let your body be breathed,
Let go of control or the idea of performance.
Appreciate how your breath supports you,
The air soothes you,
And breathing cleanses you.
That's right,
You're doing great.
Your brain is a powerful tool that,
When understood,
Can help us create anything we wish.
Reflect a moment on its capacity to imagine the future,
To revisit the past,
To imagine a place that is thousands of kilometers away.
That creative power is often misused,
Tricked by the brain that is wired to notice the negative,
Spotting the danger to keep us safe.
The side effect is that we attach to stories that cast us as negative,
Feeling little,
Powerless,
Victims of circumstances,
Poor.
It is a coping mechanism that helps us maintain a certain balance,
Starting the blow of criticism to avoid suffering from others' judgment.
We have internalized all the ways we are not belonging,
Fitting,
Or welcomed as is.
As we repeat those stories,
We start to believe them,
And they become limiting beliefs that we confuse for the truth.
We believe we can get promoted,
We can't find love,
We don't have money,
We are not creative,
No one loves us,
We are terrible parents,
A poor spouse,
We have no discipline or willpower,
We are too fat,
Too thin,
Not funny,
Too sensitive,
Depressed.
The belief might have been based on an experience or an observation.
As it is limiting,
It doesn't allow us to notice all the times when it is not true,
When we are what we feel is lacking in us.
Each time you criticize yourself,
It is like hurting your body and soul,
Letting them rot.
We blemish our sense of self-worth,
Our self-love.
We can recognize negative self-talk by the heavy impact it has on our confidence,
Mood,
And body.
It often starts with always,
Never,
Everyone,
No one.
We feel miserable when we hear it,
We look down,
Frown,
Lose energy,
Yet we believe it as being the solemn truth.
Worse,
It plays in an endless loop,
And unless someone helps us see through those dark clouds,
We could indulge the negative stories for days,
Weeks even.
It is time to stop this negative self-talk and embrace the wonderful person you are.
Let me be the guide to help you see through the negative self-talk and replace it with a more positive,
Yet true story that reveals your brilliance,
Your best self.
Take a deep breath and be ready to open.
What was the last negative story that left you feeling miserable,
Belittled,
Down,
A victim or just deeply sad?
Take a moment to recall the situation.
Where were you?
Who were you with?
What happened?
What did you start telling yourself?
What were the words,
The tone?
Was it related to your lack of capacity or skill,
A failure,
A feeling lonely,
Stupid or ugly?
Take the time to use your mind's eye to re-experience the situation.
You are safe now.
It is just a movie on the screen of your mind's eye.
Listen to the words.
Are there adverbs like always,
Never,
Everyone or no one?
Are there judgmental words like stupid,
Gross,
Lazy,
Unfit,
Good,
Bad,
Liar,
Thief?
How is this story trying to help you?
From what it protects you?
What benefit do you find in telling yourself the story?
You might not see it.
However,
Your brain uses the story to keep you safe.
From what?
In that situation,
What do you need?
What is the need you crave behind self-blaming?
Is it being heard,
Seen,
Protected,
Loved,
Accepted?
Take the time to be grateful to your brain for keeping you safe as it does.
Thank you.
I see how you want to protect me.
Honor this process,
Don't judge it.
How does it feel to acknowledge your capacity to stay safe?
When you tell yourself the negative story,
What do you assume that makes you think it is true?
What do you assume that makes you think it is true?
Let the information emerge.
You know the answer.
It might be that people are critical,
That you are so stupid you can create.
That you are not worthy of love.
That everything you start,
You fail.
Take the time to explore what you assume that makes you think what you think.
Now,
What is the positive opposite of that assumption?
Maybe that you are creative,
That people will welcome you,
That your beauty lies in your singularity.
Take the time to think what is the positive opposite of that assumption.
Now,
Imagine you knew to be,
Possess,
Or do that positive opposite.
How would you think differently about your story?
What is suddenly possible?
How does the energy shift in your body?
When hopes,
Path,
And options open up.
Take a moment to connect to the positive,
Warm energy of hope,
Capacity,
Possibilities.
How do you stand?
What do you see?
How do you feel now?
What is your internal new image of yourself when you connect to the possibility that you know?
What brilliance does it uncover?
Who are you when you know?
The brain doesn't differentiate between what you think right now and what you do.
Actually,
What you think now is more real than your negative story.
This is who you are at your best when you are not clouded,
Clogged,
Weighed down,
Or criticizing yourself.
It is you at your purest.
Emerge yourself in this feeling.
Let the brilliance flow in each cell of your body,
Mind,
And heart.
Enjoy it for a few moments.
Smile at it.
Be it.
To capture this moment,
Set an intention for your day.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your nose,
Deep,
Long exhale.
Again,
Deep breath in through your nose and a long,
Deep exhale.
One more time,
Deep breath in through your nose and a long,
Deep exhale.
Start to reconnect to where you are now,
What is around you.
Wiggle your toes,
Stretch your arms.
Whenever you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
You did great.
I thank you for letting me be your guide today.
I hold in my heart the idea that you will make this day greater than yesterday by using your brilliance and igniting in turn a good spirit in others.
Be brilliant.
Be yourself.
Be love.
