Welcome.

This meditation is meant to reflect on yourself,

What you can change,

What's in your control,

And how to shift your perspective into living a more authentic life.

So please sit or lie comfortably,

Eyes open or closed.

This is your space,

Your time.

Take a deep breath,

Hold,

And slowly release.

Imagine that you are standing in front of a mirror.

In this mirror is your most authentic self,

The self you embody wholeheartedly,

Without constraint,

Without societal norms or others' opinions.

Your true self.

This may be a different version of yourself than the self you've been living with,

And that's okay.

You're welcome any way you can show up here.

You notice that the mirror is covered in stars of all color,

Shapes,

And sizes.

You realize that you can reach out and remove a star from the mirror.

As you hold it in your hand,

You notice that it burns a little less brighter.

Maybe it's a worry,

A concern,

Or an anxiety that's rooted itself in your mind,

In your image.

Maybe it's dysphoria.

Maybe it's financial stress.

Maybe it's a health concern.

Maybe it's feeling lonely or unworthy.

Hold that feeling in your hand.

Recognize that your feeling is valid,

It's understandable,

And you are in control.

Only you can create and destroy this star.

Think for a moment as you hold it about the many other people in this world who are in a similar situation to you.

You are not alone,

And you are in control.

As you hold your star,

Notice how it becomes smaller and smaller.

Its light is now fading away.

Is it changing shape or color?

Does it still hold a place in your life?

And now let that feeling go.

It no longer burns.

It will no longer blind you in your life.

You can see past it,

Through it,

To a clearer sky full of possibilities.

You've just set yourself free of that worry,

Fear,

Or anxiety.

Keep breathing.

In and out.

This is your space,

Your time.

Repeat this process until you have collected all the stars from your mirror.

If any part of this is overwhelming,

I invite you to now pause and resume at a later time.

Now that your stars are in your control,

What does your sky look like?

Is it empty?

Is it full of new stars or galaxies?

Does it feel scary or exciting?

Where do you want to take your life next?

What adventures are waiting for you?

As you look in the mirror once more,

Has your true self changed?

What do you look like without your fears,

Anxieties,

And worries clouding your mindset?

How do you feel?

How do you want to live your life?

These are answers only you can give yourself.

You are in control and you are not alone.

As we come to a close in this meditation,

Remind yourself that you are enough.

If that doesn't feel good to you,

Maybe it's a simple thank you for showing up and owning this space.

It can be difficult to feel gratitude or give yourself grace,

But you can change your mindset to gain relief and motivation.

I believe that everyone has a right to be who they are in the most authentic way possible.

This is the recipe to true happiness and freedom from negative thoughts that are no longer serving you.

I wish you the best of luck on your journey ahead and thank you for listening.

Bye now!
