In this creative embodiment practice, we start with connecting gently to the body while practicing the thoughts, I am here, I am safe, I am grounded. Then we lead you to sense your energy and the space around you. We finish with a practice called "The Small Dance of Welcome" where we open ourselves to the body in the moment and through movement we arrive in ourselves.

Welcome.

We are so glad you are here with us today.

The theme is who watches the watcher?

Element is ether.

And the healing statement is I am here.

I am safe.

And I am grounded.

Take a moment to pause,

Feeling your body in a comfortable position,

Sitting,

Laying,

Standing.

Allow your eyes to soften for a moment so that the muscles relax and you feel a little weight in your eyes,

Behind your eyes and in the back of your skull.

Notice your breathing.

Allow yourself to sink into the sensations of contact,

The places of contact,

Wherever your body is meeting a surface.

Feel the breath move into those places.

Feel the structure and support of those places.

Feel the contact of your clothing against your skin,

The temperature of the air and the way it's resting on you.

Feel how your consciousness is also resting on your body.

There's a point of contact that is the awareness and the awareness moves through the body,

Around the body and within the body.

As you continue to let your body rest and you continue to breathe and notice your points of contact,

Feel yourself arriving a little bit more in this moment.

Drifting the body through your Éemies Begin to draw your attention now to your feet,

Allowing that little inner awareness,

That inner eye to peer down into your feet.

And like the gentle rising of a tide,

Begin to sweep your awareness,

Scanning up sequentially from your feet.

As you become more and more vitally alive everywhere that your attention touches.

So now it's around the soles of your feet,

In between your toes,

Up the ankles,

The calves and the shins,

Coming through the knees and the upper legs.

Feel the awareness as it sweeps around the base of your pelvis,

The connecting point of your legs to your torso,

Through the muscles and the organs and the bones.

Continuing to sweep up through your low back and your belly,

Through your chest.

Let your inner awareness and your inner eye fill up the fingertips.

Continuing to feel this enlivening of awareness as it comes up through your palms and your wrists,

Your forearms,

Your upper arms and your shoulders.

And feel it meet the rising tide of awareness that came up from your feet,

Around the area of your heart and your throat.

Pausing here to again,

Notice your breathing and notice your places of contact.

Is there any way that you have pulled away from the ground in a subtle resistance to gravity?

Pause,

Remind yourself,

I am here,

I am safe and I am grounded.

Allowing the awareness to continue up through the throat and the back of the neck,

The jaw,

The tongue,

Behind the eyes at the base of the skull,

Through the brain.

And for a moment the awareness is gathering at the top of the head,

Peeling both the top of the head and the soles of the feet at once.

This is you in this moment.

Homelessness and awareness meeting a body.

Allow your eyes to softly open gently taking in the room,

Receiving the light into your eyes.

Still continuing to breathe,

Let your eyes move around gently.

I am safe.

And then begin to feel not just the edges of your physical body,

But a little bit more the edges of your energetic body.

Sensing into the space somewhere between two inches and two feet around your physical body.

Allow your breath and allow your awareness to move through all of these places as if you could breathe through the pores of your skin out into the edge of your energy bubble and then back into the center.

Filling up this space.

This is my essence.

This is me.

Once you have filled out the edges of the body,

Gone a little bit beyond into the edges of the energy body.

You're going to zoom out just one more time just a little bit more.

And in your mind's eye,

See the whole of you at once.

May notice the shape that you've landed in,

You may notice the way the breath is moving your body.

You may notice different qualities through the body.

Some areas may feel a little hotter,

More riled up today.

Some areas may feel a little cooler and a little more offline.

Some areas are going to feel that there's a lot of flow,

Connectivity and ease.

This is a moving patchwork of you,

Of your physical and energetic body.

So zooming out so you can see this inner play,

You can see the wholeness all at once.

And as you've zoomed out and you're seeing the wholeness all at once,

Your point of reference has shifted to the observer,

To the burning fire of consciousness that never changes.

You are you watching you.

Every time you bloom into the awareness of watching,

There's a little more space created,

A little more room for all that you are in this moment as a vibrant,

Changing,

Evolving being.

Without trying to manipulate or change anything at this moment,

Keeping a mind's eye on the wholeness and all the parts in the pulsing,

In the connection to the here and now,

The space around you,

The space within you.

Begin to move just a little bit,

Small movements like you're waking up in the morning or like a baby discovering their fingertips,

The curiosity of the way your ankle moves,

The delight in feeling your breath.

Move and gently articulating your joints,

Feeling the pressure of your body against the floor beneath you,

The space around you,

And allowing the small dance of welcome,

The delight as your consciousness welcomes your body to this moment and as your body welcomes the consciousness,

The delight as you feel the space around you welcoming you and you welcoming it,

The softening into all things fitting together.

You are here,

You are wanted,

Delighting in the small movements,

Welcome wrist,

Welcome ear,

Welcome tailbone.

In no particular order and with no particular agenda besides just exploring the small movements of the body,

Continuing the small dance of welcome,

Welcome home to you.

You are here,

You are wanted,

Delighting in the small movements of the body,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight as you feel the space around you,

The delight
