Welcome to an incredibly simple yet effective meditation technique that can help you get into the flow.

Many of us come up against resistance whether it's in our own meditation practice or resisting certain things in our lives.

So this technique can really help you to let go of resisting so that you can just find more ease and flow anywhere necessary.

So let's begin by getting comfortable,

Dropping your awareness into your body,

Noticing any tension that you can already begin to soften.

Give yourself a moment to land and get comfortable and now notice the way that your body breathes without your efforting.

If it's possible for all the breath to flow in and out of your nose I'll invite you to do that and notice if there's any restriction or resistance in the flow of your breath.

Often the way that we breathe represents the way we're experiencing life.

So if the breath is easy and free without restrictions it helps us to find that free flow in our lives.

And if we're breathing in a healthy manner our natural breathing pattern is an easy inhale,

An easy exhale,

And a gentle pause.

Inhale,

Exhale,

And relax in the pause.

This is the way we're breathing when we're at rest,

When we're not stressed or struggling or fighting against the flow of life.

By inviting the breath to return to its natural flow we invite life to flow through us with more ease.

So let's try that.

Gently allow the breath in without taking it or pulling it.

Release the breath out without any force and relax in the pause.

Simply allow,

Release,

Relax,

And pause.

Receive,

Let go,

Relax,

And observe.

Receive life,

Let go of resistance,

Relax and notice.

Continue on your own.

When we can freely and softly receive,

When we can soften to life and let go of straining and notice and observe,

We are in the flow.

We've just created more internal ease in our bodies,

In our minds,

So that we can carry that into all of our life's experiences and even into our meditation practice.

It's that simple and that profound.

Thank you for joining me in today's practice.

Namaste.
