Welcome to this recording on Cleaner Eating Affirmations.

This is a journey towards cultivating a healthier,

More mindful relationship with food,

Eating,

Hunger,

And the body.

My hope is that these affirmations will serve you on your journey wherever you are in this moment.

As you listen to each of these affirmations,

I invite a sense of openness and curiosity,

But also engagement.

And if you ever feel like you need to modify something to make it resonate more,

I fully welcome any modifications that feel more aligned with where you are.

When an affirmation does resonate,

Notice what feelings or insights they evoke.

And if you feel inspired to take action on the basis of listening to these affirmations,

I encourage you to take whatever small step feels appropriate as soon as possible after listening to it,

Accelerating the process of manifestation and actualizing a healthier,

More free you.

Now,

As we begin this journey together,

Let's take a deep breath and make yourself comfortable.

You can either listen to these affirmations as a meditation practice,

Or feel free to actually do chores around the house,

Or move in a walking meditation,

Or if you want to even go outside and experience some nature connection at the same time,

You can do that too.

Be creative with the number of ways you utilize the affirmation set,

So that they can be integrated in your lifestyle,

In whatever way works for you.

Now we'll begin.

I am bringing more and more compassionate awareness to my food habits as they arise right now.

I welcome a sense of curiosity and openness around any thoughts relating to eating specific foods.

I am increasingly using the times that I eat as sacred times to practice mindful eating.

I enjoy bringing my attention to the subtle flavors in foods.

I notice if there are any strong emotions associated with foods,

And I breathe and bring more mindfulness to those moments,

Inquiring within what are my real needs in this situation.

I am using any thoughts of foods as a doorway into a deeper awareness of my true needs.

I am nurturing a more harmonious and non-judgmental relationship with my food based on compassion and understanding.

If there's a strong energy around a food,

I want to ask myself,

Where is the source of this energy?

I'm becoming more aware of the origins of my food habits.

I'm excited about noticing how positively my body will respond to healthier foods and more mindful eating practices.

I am capable of making nourishing food choices that honor my body's signals.

When hunger arises,

I look at it with open-mindedness,

Asking if I have any needs for rest,

For companionship,

For human connection,

Movement,

Physical exercise,

Or even sunlight.

I'm committing to experimenting with healthier food alternatives when thoughts of eating certain foods arise.

I am establishing healthier,

More mindful routines around food,

Eating,

And preparing food.

I extend patience to all the parts of myself as I learn and grow in understanding of my body's signals and learn more about the foods I am eating.

I honor the time my body requires to process and digest food effectively.

I enjoy cultivating mindfulness as to how different foods really make me feel.

As my relationship with food evolves and develops,

It will foster positive changes in all areas of my life.

I am capable of responding mindfully when thoughts of eating certain foods arise and shifting my behavior towards those foods that I know my body wants more of.

I am learning how to honor my body's natural needs for true nourishment,

And I'm increasingly feeding it foods that deeply nourish and satisfy me.

I am increasingly trusting the wisdom of my body and listening to the sensations in my belly,

Chest,

And throat when I eat.

I give my body enough time to truly adjust to the different food choices I'm making,

And I'm patient with the process of change.

I honor my body's natural rhythms of hunger and fullness.

I am learning to identify the emotions associated with thoughts of eating certain foods.

Every day my awareness of my body's needs becomes more refined and expands.

I am becoming more skilled at distinguishing between true physical hunger and emotional urges to eat.

When I feel an emotional urge,

I send love to myself.

I bring compassion to where I am in this moment,

And I address the true needs that are underneath eating this food.

I understand that thoughts or urges to eat a particular food are temporary,

Natural,

And will pass,

And will eventually become a desire for healthy and wholesome foods.

I know that over time what is best for me and what I actually want will become the same thing.

I am fascinated by how foods affect the body,

And I'm excited to learn more about how healthy foods can help heal me.

As I transition into eating healthier foods,

I do so responsibly,

Learning about the supplements that are necessary,

And letting my health provider know so that if there's any specific needs I have,

I can attend to them with professional guidance.

I know my body is unique,

And while I'm connected to the overarching principles of what makes healthy foods healthy,

I also honor my individual and unique responses to foods that give me specific guidance about what's aligned at this time.

If challenges arise on my journey,

I bring a lot of compassion to the whole process,

Knowing every single part of the process,

Including what I might think are setbacks,

May actually be necessary parts of the journey that are bringing new and different insights to my awareness.

I am growing in my gratitude for the incredible journey that different foods have to take to even reach my plate.

I am interested in learning more about the many hands that have contributed to how my meal arrived to where I am now.

I am appreciating the complexity and diversity of different tastes in my meals.

I look at food as an opportunity to remember how deeply interconnected we all are.

I am grateful for the possibility of eating,

Pleasurable taste,

And feeling satisfied.

I celebrate all of my small wins in the direction of greater wholeness and health with my food.

I know that my body will take time to adjust,

So I create small achievable commitments and change slowly and gradually.

I know that over time,

As I stack one good habit on top of another,

All of these habits will accumulate and create enormous change in my life.

I am learning how to recreate my favorite meals in healthier forms.

Every day,

I get a little bit better at researching health,

Wellness,

And healthier recipes online.

I am increasingly learning how to use AI to create personalized meal plans for whole foods plant-based vegan recipes.

I am learning to honor the power of breakfast and how sensitive my taste buds are in the morning.

I know that mindfulness and hunger are the best spices.

I know that a huge salad is so powerful for my health,

So I'm increasingly finding ways to incorporate one large salad into my day most days of the week.

I am improving my evening sleep routines so that I'm not so tempted to eat as much the next day.

I have relaxing and calming evening rituals.

I am learning the best time to stop eating might be sometime between 4 and 7 p.

M.

,

Giving my body enough time to fully digest the food so I can get a deep and restful sleep.

I know that my relationship with food is also connected to my relationship with people,

To nature,

Sunlight,

Movement,

So I look at the process holistically and look for any opportunity I can to improve any other area of my life.

I keep my dinners light,

Not stressing out my digestion at the end of the day.

I end my day with satiating teas such as basil or rosemary,

Hibiscus,

Chamomile,

Rooibos or chai.

I know that hunger is a friend and is a powerful signal that my body is starting a detoxification process.

When I don't eat late at night,

I allow my body to heal.

I am increasingly reducing the need for artificial stimulants such as caffeine or theobromine in chocolate in order to feel awake,

Alert and aware.

I am reclaiming my connection with natural sweetness,

Enjoying the real taste of foods like blueberries,

Strawberries,

Cranberries,

Melons,

Pineapples,

Apples and bananas.

I know that the taste of real food is better and more interesting than any concentrated form of fat,

Sugar and salt.

As my body heals,

I simply won't be drawn to the foods that I had before and this is okay.

I allow myself to have different foods.

I allow my body and my mind to heal through nutritional excellence.

I know that salt is meant to enhance flavor,

Not to be the flavor.

So I reduce the amount of sodium that I eat in things and I reduce the amount of sodium I put on things.

I know that most of the sodium that's consumed is actually baked into pre-made,

Processed foods.

As I move towards a more whole foods,

Plant-based diet,

I will naturally reduce my sodium intake without even trying.

I'm learning to source my fats with avocados,

Nuts and seeds,

Increasingly letting go of oils and concentrated forms of processed fat.

I'm increasingly exploring no or low salt fermented foods to help restore my gut biodiversity.

I increase my fiber intake slowly so it doesn't stress out my gut.

I know that changing my food habits is not deprivation but elevation.

As my desire for more whole natural foods increases,

My desire for old foods will simply drop away.

I send them thanks for the role they played in my life before and I allow new foods and recipes to arise that are more aligned with who I am now and what I'm trying to create in my life.

I celebrate my increased level of mindfulness around eating and food.

Every time I try a new food,

I celebrate it as a piece of learning.

I'm becoming increasingly aware of any allergies or food intolerances I might have and I'm honoring my body's messages about what I can eat right now.

I know that despite any dietary restrictions,

There's always an abundance of really healthy foods available to me.

I focus on the foods that my body does respond to well,

Not the foods it does not.

I set myself up for success throughout the week and stock my fridge and pantry with healthy appetizing foods.

I enlist the support of those who want to support me.

I include others in my journey because it's always easier to grow with others and celebrate each other's accomplishments.

I know that dealing with challenges are a part of the journey and as I bring attention and resources to them,

They become stimulants for my growth and learning.

As I grow in my journey for Whole Foods plant-based eating,

I also want my life to simply be a message on its own.

I know other people have a unique relationship with food and will not likely want to change unless something really inspires them.

I will let my own transformation speak for itself and attract like-minded people to grow with me alongside me.

I will figure out creative alternatives during potlucks or community gatherings or traveling so that I can still eat healthy in those contexts.

I will seek out the best practices from those who have come before me and already made this transformation and how they've solved these problems.

I open my mind to ideas like hosting Whole Foods plant-based potlucks and gatherings to inspire others and celebrate together.

Everyone is on their food journey.

I honor and thank myself for where I am in this moment.

Think now back to a few affirmations that really stood out to you.

What are the ones that deeply resonate that you might want to actualize or be seeds in your life for the next few days?

If you feel inspired to take any small action,

I encourage you to do that while it feels fresh and aligned.

Wherever you are on your journey,

You have my deepest blessing,

Respect and honor for wanting to bring more wholesome foods and nourishment into your body,

Mind,

And soul.

Blessings on the journey,

Friend.
