Okay,

Just making sure that the gadgets around aren't disturbing the transmission.

If there is any practicalities out there that need your attention,

Just making sure you complete whatever is needed to be completed and come back to spiritual practice.

Spiritual practice is a wonderful way to be open and receptive to the flow of energy that creates a state of excitement,

State of awe,

A state of wonderment where you are able to learn things in a different way than what the structure of the mind sometimes limits our learning to.

It's been researched and probably you know from your own experience that there is always a fine point between learning and being procrastinating and being not lazy but just not being excited about things.

You know they are just there and too much effort and you procrastinate.

So meaning that this means that you just wait and do things in a way where you're not prioritizing or you're not seeing the value of those priorities that you've chosen to manifest in your life.

You're not seeing them as important simply because the other flow of fear or the other flow of laziness or which is a type of fear and the other flow of just not having the energy or not having the clarity or not having the motivation to be open to the newness of this moment.

That flow that limits and sometimes creates a sense of reactivity to the situation.

So you're reacting and saying for example saying oh I'll do that tomorrow.

I'll sit and relax here today.

I'm too tired.

I'll do that tomorrow or I don't feel like doing that.

Why would I waste my time doing that?

I don't feel like it.

Some part of you wants to do that.

Whatever it is that is.

For example go for a walk or exercise a little bit or just do something that you know creates a higher level of happiness or you know that such a practice would create a sense of well-being but you say oh I'll wait for tomorrow and tomorrow is always out there in the future so you keep waiting forever you know because that's what procrastination is.

You just you don't realize in this moment what this moment what the value of this moment really is.

So there is no excitement.

There is just this hope that out there you'll find the value.

You'll find the excitement.

You'll find whatever it is that is lacking within the experience of this moment out there sometime in the future.

Some people reminisce about their past.

So especially certain people you you always hear the same sort of repetitive thread of conversation communicated in many different ways but communicated in such a way where ah when I was and then you know it's always like looking back at when I was this or when I was that I was so doing doing all the things that I was so happy to be doing all the things that I was doing and life was so great and today is just not the same.

So future and the past are all the same in the end.

If there is procrastination sometimes the energy that supports such procrastination isn't just the fact that the future is too difficult or too tiring or not you're not focused enough on the priorities of what it means to be present to your experience in the now and sometimes also the past creates sort of momentum where you get caught in the victim.

Oh it's always been like this so of course it will be like this again and you look at the past to justify your mode of thinking or your mode of feeling or your mode of action or your reaction to certain situations.

I've always been silly or I've always not been able to do things or people never like me anyway so whatever you know and then procrastinate procrastinate that's a new word procrastinate in such a way where we are just hoping that somehow a miracle will happen and sometimes even spiritual practice is an escape or a hope for salvation where we have placed that sort of expectation within the future or being caught in certain aspects of our feelings or thoughts within the past we have placed that as our Savior so we hope that we either let go of all the pains and sufferings of the past and so our spiritual practice in the moment isn't really in the moment.

Spiritual practice then sort of regresses into belly button gazing I call it in a fun way you know what are you doing gazing at your belly button again and you know it's it's fine to do this sometimes you know we have to look at things okay how can I improve my life you look at what you've done okay this doesn't work you know this that is a wall I've hit my head against that wall a few times doesn't really work it doesn't help anything so you know I don't need to do it again you know sometimes it helps to clarify situations to look at certain situations that you've experienced and prioritize what is important in the moment so you say okay I don't need to repeat this behavior again because I know that's a wall you know that's that's not really belly button gazing that's more coming to an integrated understanding of what is going on in this moment by expanding this moment into the past and the future but you're not caught simply by the past or the future and forgetting what is happening in this moment so that's very different but if you tend to get caught in the past then there are all sorts of consequences and we don't realize that we are creating these consequences within ourselves we just think we're being punished or life is just terrible and we've we just got the wrong we just we got it we got it all wrong and there is no right in in there is no possibility of creating a right because we've got it all wrong we've been born we were born with a problem or we were born with a trauma or we are born with lack of whatever money to to educate oneself or to understand or lack of love to understand what love truly means we can go back into the past and see that there are many many everyone has a problem there is a trauma and there is a lack and there is a limitation throughout development but that is a learning and if we keep going back with this sense of procrastination meaning that we are just recreating the same in this moment and we're whether it's conscious or unconscious or subconscious or not even understood or not it doesn't make a difference because if you're recreating something you're recreating it whether you're aware of it or not most people are not aware that they're going back and recreating the same energy within this moment it's just a reactive process if you even try to explain things to people who are in such a reactive process they just react even more so you know that they're in a reactive process if you want to test you know if someone is in a reactive process just repeat the same or mirror the same sort of behavior as they are communicating to you or to themselves and if they react you know you say okay now there is no need to speak because or no need to communicate because if you don't understand what you're doing if your reaction is believed to be your truth then what you do it's something you have to understand for yourself but there are ways there are maps there are tools that you can communicate a little bit later so it's not by pointing out that okay you're you know what you're procrastinating again you if you if you speak like that to someone or if you speak like that to yourself it's just going to be part of the negative thinking or the negative feeling that you have carried from the past into this present moment because then you're criticizing yourself again you know I'm being punished I'm being put down again by myself or by other people or by both by myself and by other people usually is the case you know you create a reactive process within yourself you'll find that it's easier to latch on to all the reactive processes that are going on around you you know if you're upset you tend to connect to people who are upset because that's the energy alignment that happens naturally you know we attract what we put out there into the world so if we are putting out that we're angry people or depressed people or sad people or unhappy people or poor people or this type of people whatever there is a tendency it's not always the case but there is a tendency that we attract the same experience to reinforce that experience because the energy is the same it's not always sometimes miracles happen you know sometimes you're angry and then there is a person that comes up to you and says look you deserve a hug and they just hug you and they say no matter what usually the person reacts what are you doing you know can't you see how angry I am don't hug me you know but sometimes it just breaks the reactive process that the mind is caught within or caught by or caught because of into this sort of reactive process that needs a better mirror than the one that we have accepted as our reality as our thinking as our feeling because that's the mirror that we relate to so in the end you probably know all this but it doesn't really help because in the end I see people after many years of spiritual practice speaking wisdoms writing wisdoms famous therapists still doing the same thing over and over again meaning that they procrastinate and they get into reactive into a reactive process and it's clear to anyone who sees clearly that the person is still caught by this limited mode of thinking this negative frame this negative structure of thinking that will recreate given the right circumstances will recreate the situation over and over again you know okay if you for some time you might be okay you know if you're not hungry you're not tired you you've got everything sorted but life isn't like that life is life is unpredictable sometimes we are woken up by an alarm in the middle of the night or sometimes and there is something going on that keeps you from eating breakfast and you have to rush off to work and you're irritable and life is unpredictable so you can't control it even though the ego says you know I once I get everything under control then you can relax you know relax and now you know we will just wait until everything is under control so that you can relax when everything is under control it never happens really because there is always some part of you that sees that there is another problem out there that needs to be sorted there is another situation there that needs your attention and usually that problem is a problem so it's a negative rather than a positive but it doesn't help when you know all these things because you know all these things and this is why people write books and still do the same thing over and over again people therapists speak about compassion or love or being happy but they're not not all therapists but you know it's common that most most of humanity is lost in this perspective that they know and understand to be not only not functional in the long term but also destructive and destructive because the joy of living the joy of being here in this present moment and just appreciating with a sense of gratitude what this present moment truly means gets lost in the complications of that negative structure that the mind creates not just emotionally or mentally but also physiologically and through the hormones that are being released within the brain the neuroscientists today are understanding that we we even get addicted to those hormones that are destructive in a way and we get for example addicted to not getting the right amount of sleep and because we are we are caught in this constant agitated state whether that be because we are watching TV or on the computer searching for the latest spiritual book or the latest latest spiritual wisdom there and instead of sleeping we're agitating our body to to go against the natural biorhythm and the natural release of hormones that then create happiness we we get addicted to civilization we realize that only after a long time do we realize that this is what is going on that some of the simple things that we know need to be put into practice to create this receptivity not only to well-being that's understood in the mind or a well-being that's understood emotionally but also a physical and hormonal well-being that the body can embrace within this moment so this means that everything flows in a natural harmonious way not just the way not just in the way that you're thinking but also in the way that your body receives the energy so this is the structure that we need to change first we don't change the physical biochemical structure that is the brain that is the body and we will tend to get caught in a reactive process because the natural flow of energy that gives you life that gives you the energy to be happy and to be grateful and to be appreciative and to be excited about not just this moment but many aspects of this moment get lost in problem-solving or flight or fight situations or reactive situations and we tend to then get addicted to civilization and believe that that is the normality of being I believe that we look around us and everyone is the same everyone's caught in some negative cycle and we believe that that is just the normal way to appreciate not only life but to also appreciate spirituality that we have to resolve the problems before we can appreciate the gifts that life is providing in this moment so very easy way to transform this limited way of thinking or feeling or even connecting to your body is to transform this moment and to choose this moment as your gift this means that if you're thinking about tomorrow or yesterday even if it's subconscious it's important when you sit in meditation to realize that you're not here okay that's because I was thinking about or caught by this feeling that has nothing to do with this moment it's important then to appreciate the gift of this moment and the gift of this moment is your free choice so you have a choice to procrastinate and to get lost in tomorrow or yesterday or in your reactive process or in that judgment or in that pain or in that suffering or whatever and you have a choice to imagine what it's like to be perfect because through your imagination even if some part of your mind or your feelings or your biochemical structure says no this is not true through your imagination the truth reveals itself but it's only when you engage your imagination and engage that which is possible beyond that what you are that which you are experiencing so beyond the reactive space or beyond the negative thought that you're having there is a higher level of communication there is a higher perception of the situation that you can imagine this is why for example in spiritual practice one of the important practices was to remember for example your Buddha nature or what Buddha would have spoken what Buddha how Buddha would have reacted in such a situation so if someone is negative to you criticize it criticizes you or says something that creates a reaction within you it's very difficult to say okay I'm going to be still I'm going to be perfect that's much easier to say how would Buddha react in this situation yeah he would he punch the person if they go that's a funny Buddha punching people but that's what I feel like I want to punch that person at least you're honest because some people say oh no I'm too spiritual but we all know that there is all sorts of energies going on so you know the person is just basically lying to themselves but say that's what you want to do you know and you imagine yourself okay I'm now in Buddha's I'm the Buddha now then you think oh what would the Buddha do actually he would sit and breathe that's what he did he sat down and breathe he sat down meditated so he could breathe and breathe in deeply so it's very easy when you begin to imagine a mystic or the quality of this moment if you're not religious and I'm not saying that you have to imagine a Buddha I'm just bringing this up as an example but if you're not religious or follow a specific method of meditation you can just imagine the qualities that are attributed to this moment so the qualities of peace the qualities of tranquility the equanimity the qualities of beauty and just imagine because this is what the Buddha would do he would sit and see the beauty within that situation that is being experienced or see the meaning and communication that is behind the illusion of the situation and see as soon as you begin to do this visualization then it's not passive not meaning that you daydream and you one day when I'm wealthy or one day when I have my boyfriend all sorted out or one day when I have this house and pet and whatever you know not daydreaming because what people believe visualization to be but it's actually very different but rather actively participating in the communication of your visualization means that you energetically place yourself in that situation so if you are for example a basketball player and you're training to I don't know for the Olympics or whatever a basketball player is to to win some sort of competition and just sit there in your meditation and throw the ball but you can't just say I'm throwing the ball no throw the ball use your body feel the energy in your body feel the energy in your nervous system feel how you feel when you are throwing the ball into the net and just be part actively of that imaginative perception that means you're allowing the present moment to embrace all and everything the present moment then moves into the future because you create a positive habit see you begin to approach the communication of negativity the communication that happens sometimes on a subconscious level through your conscious changing of old habits old patterns to something that you know to be positive and possible because you can throw that ball into the net you know that if you're a basketball player that's what you do that's what you've been training to do so the big problem is not that whether you can do this or not it's trusting that you can do it and being so in the flow in that moment that that moment is no longer just in this moment it has expanded to the future so you know every time you hold a ball you don't even have to imagine anymore the habit has been formed inside of your structure your body and no longer does your body hold on to the reactive process or the limited perception of the process of communication or throwing the ball into the net or the way that you speak to your boss or the way that you creatively challenge a situation that is creating perhaps a bit of a challenge for you you know already because you've changed the habit and you can only change the habit when you come back to this moment and use visualization and creativity to transform that wall so when you walk and you know that wall is there that wall has been there for ever then you say to yourself okay let me visualize another even though you don't know another place I can walk towards I don't know I've always banged into that wall so that's all I know visualize create clarity clear the mind from the negative reactive process and visualize the perfect solution as you do that you'll realize that your body will simply orientate itself towards that which it knows energetically aligns itself to that which you are visualizing there's no longer with the subconscious negative traits or limited perspectives or reactive thoughts or past or future ideas belief systems create the energy for you you will be out of freedom realizing that your potential is the energy that's being created so as you breathe in and breathe out remember to let go to relax to come back into the flow deep breath now we continue with the Hulandra Oh you
