Just making sure that all is ready for the transmission.

Just waiting for everyone to be able to receive this transmission.

As you get ready for the transmission,

Just making sure that all practicalities are complete and that you are ready for the daily transmission.

Making sure that if you have any technological devices that they are turned off,

Making sure if there is anything that needs your attention,

Just giving that,

Giving some attention to that and making sure that you are ready for the transmission.

One aspect of being ready for,

Being receptive and ready for whatever it is,

Inspiration or knowledge,

Wisdom,

Understanding,

The gifts that the universe can provide to everyone.

One of the very important aspects of being receptive is being receptive.

That in itself is a practice because we are,

As we are just human,

Or one aspect of us is just human,

We are very accustomed and very much part of a society where we act upon signals rather than create a sense of openness where we are receptive to information or communication.

The signals that create a momentum within us are the signals that are most powerful or most strong in that moment.

So for example you can be receptive to an intention to change and in your mind you have this intention very clear,

But if an addiction sends a signal that is very powerful,

It very often overrides one's intention or one's hopes or one's dreams or one's ideas of what would be better or what would be more useful to put into practice.

So this is important to know that receptivity in itself is a practice,

It takes a lot of energy simply because we are very used to or very addicted to certain ways of creating our understanding of the world and those ways depend on the signals that we are used to connecting to.

So the neurons in the brain find it much easier to fire and wire in a context that the brain is used to rather than to open up to new information or new spaces that the neurons haven't explored before and this happens because of the energy that you put into such an exploration,

It doesn't happen in an automated way because usually the space is full of signals.

In life we have all sorts of signals,

We have our thoughts,

These are very powerful signals and thoughts are usually happening in the background whether we are aware of our thinking or not on the level where those signals and those frequencies within those signals create a vibration that allows us to think in a certain way or feel in a certain way or act in a certain way or see the situation in a certain way.

So the vibration of our thinking basically is simply the signals that are being put out there by our minds or by the structure that we have created around our minds,

Our physical bodies,

Our emotional bodies,

Our energetic bodies,

Our nervous system.

The whole movement within all these dimensions of ourselves depends on the signals and the vibrations of those signals that then create a momentum within,

A movement within our world.

So the way we move forward or backwards or just not move at all depends on these signals.

And if our dependency isn't challenged,

If our addiction isn't challenged,

If our ideas are not challenged on a very deep level whereby those signals will still function in the same way as they always have,

Whereby those signals aren't the only ones that we are open or receptive to where we now begin to explore the space around those signals.

So the neurons will still fire and wire in the same way but if we begin to explore something different,

Space where the neurons can fire and wire where they never have before,

That's the evolution of consciousness.

And it began,

They say,

Scientists say,

We don't really know but this is what is accepted as knowledge,

The knowledge that we have about evolution,

They say,

It began with one monkey or one little ancestor of humanity,

They say monkeys,

Dropped a banana or dropped something and decided to walk,

Begin to walk as human beings do today by chasing that banana down from the,

Crawling down the tree or hanging and jumping off the tree and then beginning to search for the banana meant that they needed to adapt,

They needed to do things very differently than all their history,

All those signals which weren't just happening in the moment saying that,

Oh you should go back up to the tree but we're also,

These signals were also part of the genetic makeup of our ancestor sitting up there on the tree now exploring something totally different,

New and having to adapt meaning that the signals that are being received are ones that are totally different from the ones that the evolution up to that point was used to or was able to communicate to our ancestor that was naughty enough to go and chase the banana,

Find the banana on the ground and then all the other monkeys saw this happening and thought,

Okay,

That's interesting,

Every time I drop a banana because my need to eat is so very important I will walk and begin to look for the banana on the ground so walking,

This is a simplified version of evolution but walking was driven or the need to walk was driven by hunger so one of the very basic needs that human beings have to fulfill.

Now it doesn't seem like we have really evolved much further,

If we look at the world and those needs are still the reason why our evolution is moving forward because we are trying to fulfill those needs on some level,

That is what most human beings are concerned with at least given if you look at what we spend our time thinking about or contemplating or looking at or interacting with,

The mundane world seems to take up most of our time and the signals that we are exploring sometimes are challenged,

We try to find out,

We invent something that helps us to do things in a better way so instead of washing the dishes,

We've evolved where we've invented a dishwasher,

I don't know if that's evolution but on some level our needs are being met in a different way so we have machines to help us fulfill our needs but we haven't really allowed ourselves the next step in the evolutionary process where the frequencies of our communication change from basic needs or chasing that little banana that fell onto the ground and finding better ways of eating that banana or finding that banana or not losing that banana,

We haven't evolved beyond that frequency and this is what then creates much more of a challenge in our spiritual practice because our spiritual practice is very much,

It is defined by the frequency that we are used to so if the mind spends most of its time thinking about the banana that's fallen onto the ground,

That is the frequency that's created and there is very little space for receptivity,

There may be a little bit of receptivity or being receptive because there is a need that allows for such receptivity to happen but just the selfless service that is required for the frequencies that are beyond just selfish needs or egoic needs or just the needs of oneself or the preoccupied with one's needs,

That requires a quantum leap into a space that we are not very used to and for us to be able to jump into the unknown in this way to be open enough to be receptive to a frequency that's beyond that which the mind is creating means that there needs to be a total transformation within our thinking and that's very difficult to,

You probably know this,

If you sit in meditation it's very difficult to drop the mundane and just say to your mind I want to leave all that behind,

It tends to the frequency of thinking,

The frequency of the mundane world tends to keep replicating itself and that repetitive behaviour or nature of thinking is the very opposite of receptivity,

It is a pattern that's created through reactive communication to the signals that are being produced by your own very mind,

Your very own mind,

So it's very difficult to separate yourself from that which you are and to say I don't want to be this frequency because want is another need so it's just like chasing the banana but perhaps it's not the banana that you're chasing but it's just another need even if it's more evolved than the need of fulfilling your hunger,

Your physical needs are fulfilled it's still another need so the frequency is still the same,

The frequency within your mind,

The signal that you're listening to that's creating your reality is still exactly the same as that of supposedly that of our ancestor however many hundreds of thousands of years ago or millions of years ago,

I don't know,

This is also a debate as to when did we really begin to climb down the tree and which ancestor is really the one,

Are we this version of the monkey or are we that version of a different type of monkey,

Who knows but in the end our thinking hasn't really evolved as much as we would like it to because some part of us knows,

Some part deep within ourselves knows that that frequency is the reason why we are imprisoned by our own egoic thoughts and our own basic needs and our own basic mundane ways of thinking and we know that we are reactive to our signals and to the signals that are around us but it's very difficult just through knowledge to be free,

This we can read all about what it means to be highly evolved but that doesn't mean that you're highly evolved,

You can write about it,

You can talk about it,

You can imagine it,

You can hope for it,

You can dream for it but in the end that doesn't make very much of a difference,

It makes a little bit of a difference because you begin to think about something different than the banana or your basic needs but it doesn't really make very much of a difference because your basic needs create the signals that will always override the signals that you're thinking about.

Perhaps given millions of years our thinking will help change that constellation that's being played out within our minds today in the world that we live in today but is there another way?

Is there another way than waiting for 100,

000 years or 200,

000 years until our mind realises that these signals are important but not really the totality of reality?

Of course there is and this is why meditation is so very important but what is meditation?

As you breathe in and breathe out it's not enough to just want to move to a higher dimension of thinking and negate those signals that are there and say okay now I'm going to be receptive to something else.

That's a desire,

That's a need,

That's the parable of meditation,

As soon as you want something in meditation then that want is clearly being driven by the very basic nature of our evolution and we want to create a revolution within our spiritual practice.

We don't want to just wait 100,

000 years or a million years for the mind to have enough time to evolve beyond just chasing that banana,

We want something more,

We know deep in our hearts that is the reference,

That is the real reference that allows for the evolution of humanity,

Of our consciousness,

That's what allows for consciousness to again touch the space that then begins to signal the knowledge or the communication of this knowledge to all aspects of our being.

So it's not just a mental concept that then we begin to listen to or open up to or be receptive to when we come back to our hearts.

We're opening up to much more than just conceptual thoughts or even feelings or even physical energy or even the energy of the nervous system,

All this changes of course but what we open up to is the potential that exists within this moment.

That potentiality is not defined by your thinking or even the signals that are part of your thinking that reflect upon your needs and your basic egoic thinking.

With its needs and with its desires and with all its demands no longer become the vital link in the way that you relate to the world.

The vital link becomes the potentiality that exists within you and that can only be understood by something much greater than your mind and hence why meditation very often leads to the space itself where you are able to begin the exploration of what it means to touch upon your potentiality.

But that is not enough.

What is important is that right now in this moment as you breathe in and you breathe out you let go of the mundane and it's very simple,

Really in the end it's very simple,

As the banana drops from the tree you can say to yourself,

Okay there is the banana but right now I'm sitting here and I'm happy,

I'm content,

There is no need to chase that banana.

This is of course symbolic of whatever the world demands of you at this moment unless you really need to attend to the practical,

Say you are starving and you have to chase that banana then you can just sit where you are because we've evolved to such a degree where we as a social phenomena,

We as humanity,

We've reached a point where what will define our evolution will be a level of consciousness that takes us beyond selfishness,

Beyond the basic needs that everyone is trying to fulfil and where we need to move towards now within consciousness is the understanding that our potentiality is the symbiosis that happens when we all move beyond the selfish to the selfless and together begin to understand that potentiality is not just defined by reaching out for our basic needs but defined by the selfless aspect of reaching out to the world and being receptive to the world and the information within the world that then creates a whole new frequency so that that frequency begins to create abundance,

Not just for our basic needs but abundance whereby consciousness becomes infinite and touches upon many dimensions and many aspects of existence that we can't even see or touch at this moment because the frequency that we live within is defined by the very basic needs that limit our experience to those very basic needs and imprison our thoughts and our feelings to revolve around those very basic needs.

So as you breathe in and breathe out,

Make sure that this moment isn't defined by a need to be spiritual or a need to be better but that you are creating a space of open receptivity so that your heart can begin to communicate to you that which is of true value,

That which creates purpose in your life and that is far beyond the basic needs.

As you breathe in and breathe out,

Reach out for your potential,

For the potential of humanity in your practice,

In the way that you think,

In the way that you feel,

In the way that you just breathe and communicate to yourself the cells within your body,

The cells within your brain and also the way that you communicate to all aspects of yourself,

To the world,

To people around you.

Make sure that you're open and receptive,

Open and receptive as you continue breathing in and breathing out and letting go of the mundane,

Letting go of this and that,

Simply listening to the vibration of the mantra,

The who mantra,

Coming back to the vibration within this space.

Really interesting presentation of ideas. Please could there could be more focus on the achievement of strong meditation rather than just it's benefits. (The how rather than the why).

Great talk! I laid back in bed rehashing the words of humanity coming from a place of selfishness to selflessness... My joy expanded as I know that I am coming back home being, in an era of these significant shift in human consciousness. Pure bliss! Worth listening to over again for its insightful, purpose driven and facts, you know at core it is true. Thank you.

Thank you very much. So interesting and enlightening. Useful to consider how our reacting to ‘signals’ can be limiting. Lots to ponder.
