If they don't do that,
It doesn't take a month for them to putcompound their c The technology is so wonderful in that it allows for these transmissions beyond just the subtle communication of energy transmission and the healing transmission that happens during the satsangs.
There is also the possibility to understand through the mind the concepts that help to expand beyond the concepts that prevent one from understanding.
Understanding things that are going on in one's life.
And understanding is a very important aspect of spiritual practice.
It's not that we need to understand everything,
It's not that we can only move towards our goals if we understand what it is that we are moving towards.
Sometimes it's not really important to understand,
It's important to be clear,
Clear enough to remove the obstacles that sometimes prevent us from moving.
And sometimes these obstacles can be understood but sometimes understanding them doesn't really help at all.
Sometimes just conceptualizing and saying oh I'm this or I'm that creates more identity to the idea of what I means,
I am the victim or I am the one feeling this pain or I am the one challenged or I am the one who doesn't enjoy whatever the identity that is created creates a field of addiction around it.
So very often when we get comfortable with the so-called identity I that we are focused upon,
Even if it is a negative,
Even if the I is a victim role or is a pain role or is whatever role that's being played out in that moment can be very addictive and the force field around that identity can also be comforting on some level.
It's a weird experience but we know from basic psychology that sometimes it is better what we know than what we don't know.
And so the psychology of many human beings is to fall into the challenges and the negatives or the problematic perspectives of life simply because the addictive force around such identity is more comforting than exploring the unknown,
Meaning that you explore a perspective that may challenge the one that you are comfortable with,
A perspective that may remind you that you are not what you identify with.
This identity that you believe yourself to be is not actually you,
It's just a thought and as we know thoughts come and go so it's not really you in a permanent sense of what identity means,
It's just you perhaps temporary,
Sometimes you fall into that role but that's not really you,
It's just a part of you.
So sometimes understanding helps us to put this into perspective but sometimes it confuses the matter even more because we begin to try to understand what I call confusion with a mind that is already confused.
We try to make sense of what cannot be understood through just the conceptualization of a mind that is already so confused that has really no idea of its essential qualities.
It is caught in an identity,
It's caught in a perspective or a focus that far removes it from its essential qualities.
So the mind forgets itself,
The mind then begins to identify with thoughts,
With whatever thoughts are happening and usually for most human beings these thoughts are not positive ones.
If we were to just be neutral in our perspective then of course the mind would understand itself very quickly but just because the addictive nature of negative thoughts can be so,
So very powerful we fall into believing that those thoughts that jump from one space to another meaning that you are thinking one thought and then another thought attaches to that thought because it's related to that thought and then all of a sudden we have a flow of thinking.
That belief system,
That flow of thinking is the mind is what actually removes a level of consciousness from our understanding of reality because we then begin to perceive the world through that flow of negative thinking rather than from the natural flow that is the deduction that the mind can very powerfully begin to utilize.
If I have this as my experience does it mean that?
And we begin to create a sort of logical system of understanding which in itself is very spiritual as we know Pythagoras used mathematics to highlight concepts that were too difficult for the thinking mind to understand but through such conceptualization as Pythagoras practiced within the mathematical formulas or algebra and various musical notes that were highlighted as the definition of the intelligence of a universal mind then it was very easy to relate to something that was so far beyond everyday thinking,
So far removed from everyday thinking simply because it's an intelligence or a consciousness or a state of awareness that requires that we're removed from the negative flow of thinking and come back into a state of neutrality.
Now even if this doesn't make sense in practice it does make sense.
It doesn't make sense right now in practice it makes sense and one of the wonderful aspects of practice that I remind many of is to place things as energetic investments to place things that you are preoccupied with or that your mind is focused upon as energetic perspectives.
This means that you weigh up the energy of each aspect that you are spending a lot of time on.
So say you are using the mind to worry and to stress and it's not a judgment just if this is what is happening it's good to be truthful and to say to yourself this is what I spend five minutes of my day doing this is what I spend ten minutes of my day doing this is what I spend five hours of my day doing whatever to be clear enough to use the mind to deduct or to understand what it is that you are spending time on and if you understand from your investigation that five hours of your day is spent or seven hours of your day this is about average spent on worrying meaning that you are actually not doing anything that you are just so addicted to the negative perspective of thinking meaning the flow of thinking that you are just being attracted to that space simply because that space is the one you know that's what you are comfortable spending your time within.
Now if you see that if you see that you spend five hours doing that then wow you can all of a sudden sense within your awareness wow time is precious time is very precious and I'm spending five to seven hours of my day just falling into an addiction a negative perspective of the mind where I'm not really doing anything the energy investment that I'm putting into the situation isn't actually giving me any returns I am simply losing energy actually rather than gaining energy.
Now if you realize that five seven hours of your time you're just investing into depleting your own energy not even not just depleting your energy for some people depleting your energy so much that you need to spend time recovering from that depletion so then the five seven hours of stress for example require one or two hours to get your act together and to just make sure that all is okay because you've just spent five seven hours focusing or being attracted to a level of thinking that is depleted your feelings so that you're feeling negative about things or depleted your physical energy so that you're tired and you can just sort of rest or waste time like some people do you know they just sit in front of some entertainment box and spend their time trying to recover from their own negative flow that is happening in their minds and so the five seven hours then ends up being eight to ten hours so eight to ten hours of no return or just a state where you just have to come back to the same sense of okay now I've come back to not just losing energy but coming back to a state where I'm not losing any energy where I'm the same as I was before I worried and stressed about the various situations that my mind caught got caught within.
Now if we spend ten hours doing that and we spend say seven eight hours sleeping that's eighteen hours of your day and then you have like seven hours some of it spent eating cleaning doing mundane whatever tasks working now look twenty four hours in a day and you have very little time for the actual manifestation of energy meaning that the energy that you're putting into a situation gives you a return meaning that it expands beyond its state of construction so that energy could be learning learning means that your mind expands and goes beyond the constrictions of saying the world is square or the world is whatever and you understand that there are many more possibilities because you learn about various possibilities that's an amazing thing to do for your mind and that gives you energy returns because the excitement of knowing that there are more possibilities than just what you're thinking about already allows for an energy elevation within your physical body and also within your emotional and mental bodies so this is a wonderful thing that you can say oh maybe that seven ten hours that I spent worrying I could spend educating myself educating myself of possibilities rather than worrying about what I believe to be the state of affairs the world being square or the world being whatever maybe I can educate myself so that the energy elevation that happens allows me to be more free and to see that I have more choices than that which the mind is used to for creating by thinking in a certain way now education is just one thing it's a vital thing this is why if you have children this is why if you if you are caught in very dogmatic or very closed perceptions of the world it's very important to educate yourself children not that they're dogmatic but children just need the tools to learn how to be free and these tools teaching a child to read for example allows them the freedom to read and to learn more things but it's not enough teaching children to read there needs to be a transmission of the excitement of what it means to learn and the same with adults it's not enough to say oh yeah of course I've got to spend 20 minutes you know just learning something a new language which allows for the neurons in the brain to fire and wire in places that have been dormant or a musical learn a musical instrument how to play a musical instrument or learn how to move your body in certain ways just to awaken the energy systems within the body now most people will say oh yeah of course I would love to do this but I don't have the time I'm so busy now if we know that we spend 10 hours investing our energy in what gives us nothing we could just utilizing the mind and this is the first step utilizing the mind say to ourselves okay out of those 10 hours it's not that I'm going to stop everything and make sure that those 10 hours are utilized for something that is beneficial that gives me back energy but one of those hours that means 10% that use of the time that you spend on energy that gives you nothing you will give 10% back to that which you know will give you will elevate you to a level give you enough energy and bring you back to a level where you're excited and you are moving forward rather than constricted by the limited thought that the mind pulls you down into now that could just be a simple thing like I'll walk I'll sit and meditate but only spend my time focusing on my breath every time I drift away from my breath and think about something or worry about something or stress about something or try to resolve a problem or whatever it is and I'll just come back to my breath so it's a spontaneous practice it's not that you can compartment you can't create compartments out of your life and say okay this is what I do this is what I do but there is a flexibility where the spontaneous connection to energy is highlighted as you go through life as you go through the day as you go through those 24 hours in a day and you see every moment for what it is in this moment what am I doing right now what am I doing am I worrying or thinking or lost in those aspects of thinking that then take me away from the freedom of learning from expanding from being free enough to see that there are many other possibilities now there are so many things you can do in those 10 hours already just seeing that you can do so many more things in your day brings about sense of excitement that pulls you back to a level of awareness that is called consciousness so you're not only aware of the negative flow of mind but you're aware of the possibilities brings about hope brings about a sense of joy and bliss hopefulness being hopeful that change is not just possible but is happening right now and you begin to sense this and begin to see this because the neurons in your brain fire and wire in a new way because you begin to move the energy and receive more energy than what you're putting into life already means that the art of living is not dogmatic or not limited to certain belief systems that is a creative and spontaneous communication that happens right now in this moment so as you breathe in and breathe out letting go letting go of all the mundaneness that the mind is focused upon simply come back to this state where you are receptive to the new to the new beginning that is the experience unfolding in this moment so as you breathe in the breath is new it's not just a repetition of the breath before but you're breathing life with an attitude of yes I'm breathing life and life is breathing me and me the I so connected to this positive affirmation this positive sense of receptivity that there is no doubt there is no thought in the background that limits my openness to receive and as you receive it is easier to give to give yourself more to the spiritual practice to give yourself more to that which truly frees you that which is truly important that investment of energy that truly expands and allows you to be more conscious deep breath deep breath now we continue with the who mantra the vibration that allows us to expand beyond the negative flow of thinking allows us to expand into a space of receptivity.

A difficult concept to explain or grasp, but the search for my true, whole self is the re-discovery of who o was always meant to be. I am trying not to be discouraged at how long this journey may be, though I suppose I have my whole life. Thank you for your insight.
