Royal Hello,
I hope you can hear me.
We will begin slight delay today,
But we will make sure that in future everything starts on time.
Today was difficult to know what the time was as all our clocks stopped for some interesting reason.
The interesting reason is that it really shows me how we rely on our perceptions to gauge what reality is all about or how we fit into the picture of reality.
So even time is gauged by technical objects that of course sometimes go wrong.
So it was very interesting to wake up and look at the time and think wow it's late and then look at the time and realize wow it's early because it didn't change and then realize that it wasn't really early it was very late and this means that all that you put into motion all the plans that you put into motion that rely on some believed or perceived aspect of reality gets muddled up.
That's very much what happens in meditation when we gauge our perceptions onto when we gauge reality from the perceptions that are connected to circumstances that have to do with the outer experience meaning what we see in the world not just the clock or the watch that we're looking at but just the feelings and the thoughts that we have because of what we're looking at or what we're hearing or what we're smelling or what we're tasting and very often such information is incomplete.
It may reveal something but it's not complete in itself you can't really gauge your perception of yourself and your communication about such upon these things that are not even totally real.
So we have to actually on some level question our senses you know so when we perceive something as reality we have to question is this really as real as it looks or as it smells or as it tastes or as I hear it or as I sense it and such questioning doesn't come naturally to anyone because we're so addicted to our perceptions we live from those experiences where perceptions are revealing to us what's going on so we we're so interconnected to such perceptions that it's hard to challenge them and say are you real because of course if you taste something and it tastes sour yeah that's real isn't it and everyone would say yeah that's real I know in Japan they have a very interesting fruit that changes the perception of taste so actually when you eat this fruit I've heard I've never tried it when you eat this fruit everything that is sweet turns sour and everything that is sour turns sweet and it's a fun thing in Japan it's not a healthy fruit apparently but you know people do it because it creates this sort of reorientation or challenge within yourself that poses naturally a question is this really real is it really sour and you know that honey isn't sour it's it's sweet so if you're eating honey and your mind is saying this is so sour it creates all sorts of interesting conclusions within your being that then help you understand that perceptions have nothing to do with reality they are perceptions and perceptions always live not in this moment but live in the future or in the past so the fact that you can taste something or understand something through taste has a lot to do with the past with your socialization how you've been cultured how you've been cultured how you've been socialized and how your cultural paradigms have been created throughout your childhood and throughout your the development of your brain and the senses that rely on the structure of the brain then of course get influenced by such things so it's very interesting just like this magical fruit I think it's called the miracle fruit in Japan your perceptions can be challenged not just through eating a fruit and changing your taste buds changing the perception of your taste buds but also through meditation this is why satsang and spiritual practice meditational practice is so important we can change our perceptions and that is really in the end the only thing that helps to manifest change in a real way when our perceptions are challenged from within and within is consciousness so if you bring consciousness up to the surface where perception is happening the surface meaning that you you you bring consciousness in the way that you perceive things so the way that you perceive things even if related to the past and related to the future and not it not so very present in this moment even if that is the case still consciousness adds another element of freedom to your perception so you can know okay to me it tastes sour or to me this looks negative or to me this is very fearful but who am I am I the me that I think I am or is that thought of myself an interesting thought but not the totality of reality see if you question yourself like this comes a habit and so wonderful meditation which maybe you want to put into practice today who am I see if you begin to question the I the egoic realm of perception the egoic social cultural belief systems that you've inherited and believed to be yourself if you question yourself by asking who am I then all of a sudden you know there is a level of freedom in such questioning because you know that you don't need to be reactive to the I that believes it knows everything so the I that says I am this don't question it I am that why are you even thinking about it if you begin to create a sense of freedom within consciousness and bring that freedom consciousness to your perception of yourself and the self can begin to explore the expansive space of consciousness that is manifest within this moment so you're pulling the energies that are some sometimes just lost chaotically in the future and sometimes lost chaotically in the past you're bringing those energies back here to this moment and there is nothing that is more powerful than being present to your true self because that is in essence real freedom so this is why spiritual practice meditation just empowering what it means to be alive what it means to be free within all your activities meditational and otherwise is such an important aspect of transformation not just your transformation but the transformation of the many constellations that depend upon you and depend upon your perception and the manifestation of your potential because you free yourself of those dependencies desires and needs and belief systems and paradigms of lacks and paradigms of negativities you free yourself so that you come back into a flow that is more positive so as you breathe in and breathe out again by questioning who am I in this moment and breathe more deeply deep breath look the mind tries to find an answer just acknowledge that the mind is an important an important part of yourself but it is not the totality of yourself so say thank you mind for being present to my question now I move a little bit deeper into the flow of breath into the flow of energy that it creates this manifestation that is me the self beyond the mind you may recognize the feelings as you breathe in and breathe out you may recognize the feelings saying this is me the way I feel is who I am again as you breathe in and breathe out thank your feelings for being present an important part of yourself is being present to the question and it's wonderful to acknowledge this part of yourself rather than to just ignore it or to be cold and say oh this is not really who I am I want to go deeper just embrace from the state of presence from the state of freedom embrace feelings and saying thank saying thank you for being present to my question then breathe deeper let go and flow back home to this moment you may say I'm the body this body that is sitting down this is me again it is important to honor and acknowledge your body as an important aspect of the self it's wonderful to acknowledge through presence and present to my body thank you body for being present to my question it's a wonderful experience to acknowledge the body in this way very often we're so busy we're caught in our thoughts and caught in our feelings the body never gets acknowledged and if it does it's only because you're so tired or so sick that you have to acknowledge your body now just through your freedom through the meditational practice you acknowledge through awareness through consciousness you acknowledge the body and thank it for being present in this way but again another deep breath and flow back home to this moment maybe this moment to you is the energy of the nervous system or the energetic body and you recognize this through just the various sensations energetic sensations that manifest within the body when you relax the mind when you relax the emotions when you relax the body the energy becomes more present to this moment and become more aware of the energy within your body perhaps sensing an expansion or sensing the various subtle senses within the body connecting to the space again energy is wonderful and you are an energy being every cell within your body contains within it so much energy and the trillions and trillions of cells that are all manifesting themselves in beautiful ways that creates life now the life that is your being that is yourself that holds on to the structure of yourself is everywhere vital and vibrant and so full of energy that when you connect through presence to this wonderful energetic body that is you can seem overwhelming it can seem very powerful the energy flows through the spine and the energy flows through the cells of the body and it's so incredible the empowerment that is created when you recognize this energy in such a conscious way but again thank the energy body for being present and remember that beyond energy there is an aspect of your self-consciousness that is made of finer more subtle energy that is beyond the physical energies beyond even the nervous system the energy of the cells it's hidden in the many dimensions that create the physical reality that we understand through the senses the multi-dimensionality of time is only clear when you come back to consciousness because consciousness is everywhere so as you begin to come back here to this moment and create awareness and presence to in regards to consciousness what is recognized is that you are part of the greater space and that space is recognizing the question from beyond the question so it's almost as if the universe helps you to remember who you are so you don't need to even reply to the question in any way through mind body emotions or energy the reply comes naturally through consciousness and the stillness of meditation and the stillness as you breathe in and breathe out as you continue in meditation letting go of the mundane just coming back to this wonderful space of consciousness be aware that you can replicate consciousness in all your actions so you can be more conscious in your thoughts more conscious in your feelings more conscious in connection with your body and in connection with the energy body simply by coming back here to this moment and a wonderful way is to continue asking yourself the question who am I and to help with this we continue with the who meditation.
Who am I and to help with this we continue with the who meditation.
Who am I and to help with this we continue with the who meditation.
