
Deeply Embody Gratitude

You you you just making sure that you are ready for the transmission,
Making sure that the environment around you is conducive to being open and receptive being open and receptive is part of a very healing attitude that I call gratitude gratitude is an action,
An activity that allows you to be open and receptive to the beauty and the harmony that's within an experience or that is within the connection that we have with the world that is always beautifully communicating to us so when we are open and receptive we are able to deeply embody this attitude of gratitude and it's really important to remember that gratitude is so much more than just feeling grateful in the sort of conceptual sense of the word gratitude is a sensation,
Gratitude is an attitude,
Gratitude is a deep feeling,
Gratitude is so much more than just feeling good gratitude is a deep way of communicating and connecting to the world when you begin to discover that all that is part of your beautiful experience is not just healing and nurturing and beautiful but it's also a deep connection to your essence,
Your soul,
Then that is in itself just enough to feel gratitude that you're connected to this creative force this creation that is the cosmos and it's so wonderful when you recognise this and forget or relax the mind,
Ego mind focus that tends to be in the modern world,
The focus on all that which is not really that important when you look at things from perspective you know,
Of course it's important,
Your work is important,
What your friend told you is important,
What you think about yourself is important but in the perspective of things,
When you look at the big picture,
Then gratitude is more about a connection to the cosmos rather than a connection to individual aspects of experience and the cosmos is a very universal level of consciousness that requires that we let go of the mundane and let go of those little things that sometimes limit our sense of gratitude in the world so rather than,
You know,
Force yourself to feel gratitude,
Oh I feel gratitude for this experience or I feel gratitude for that experience,
Open yourself up to the sensation and the deep feeling that connects you to universal consciousness,
The cosmos and just even if you do this in your imagination,
Just be open and receptive,
Which is really what meditation is all about and why it's so important to recognise this and to emphasise this as part of your meditation practice because it's easy to get caught in the world,
It's easy to get caught in one's individual experience of the world and sometimes it's useful but when it comes to being open and receptive to the cosmos,
To the universal consciousness that helps you to elevate to your deep state of consciousness that is meditation or your deep state of consciousness that is spirituality then there is a little bit more that's required than just appreciation or happiness because of an individual experience that you might be having or that you've had or that you hope to have so consciousness and gratitude are intertwined and very much connected and when you sense this in your meditation,
That part of your meditation is about embracing consciousness,
Universal consciousness then gratitude is a natural consequence of your practice and that is wonderful because every day,
Hopefully this is something that you do or at least you can begin to emphasise as being important and put into practice every day when you sit in meditation this is a affirmation that you are grateful for consciousness and the experience of consciousness that helps you to elevate beyond the egoic self that sometimes takes over and controls and manipulates situations that is something that we need to do every day,
We need to remind ourselves that it's okay to feel gratitude,
Our attitude can be grateful for things that are invisible the universal consciousness isn't a thing,
It's not a material thing,
It's not a specific feeling,
It's very much connected to the spaciousness of an experience that's well beyond definition,
This is why it's infinite in the way that it touches us and this is why poetry and love really cannot be defined as a subjective feeling or an objective feeling because love is so much more than subject or object,
It is infinite in its capacity to take you beyond yourself so when you sit now and just open yourself up to universal consciousness,
To your deep state of consciousness,
Imagine just feeling gratitude,
Sensing gratitude and spend a few moments just connecting to gratitude as a deep and profound sensation within and allow yourself to just flow with universal consciousness,
To open yourself to the infinite space that is gratitude,
The infinite space that is love the infinite space that is your consciousness,
Unlimited,
Your consciousness expanded,
Your consciousness elevated deep breath as you breathe in and breathe out your practicing gratitude right now it's so wonderful to remember that part of gratitude is the receiving of a positive gift what I mean by this is that as you sit in meditation,
The embracing action of gratitude when you embrace infinity,
When you embrace that which is beyond yourself it's important that you recognize the gift,
The beautiful gift that you're receiving because if you don't and it's just something vague and something that you understand on some level but there is no connection to the feeling or there is no connection to the sensation of receiving a gift then gratitude is just something there happening in the background and it's not the core of your experience but when you receive it as a gift,
When you sense oh the gratitude is touching me,
Touching my heart,
Touching my essence in a way that I feel I feel good and I feel happy and I feel connected and I feel inspired and I feel whatever it is and you recognize this and you embrace this as something very tangible so the gift is very tangible then you're allowing consciousness to come back down here to the material level,
Your body,
The experience that your body is having,
The experience that your emotional body is having or your mental body is having but you're bringing it down so it materializes itself as a real experience that you can touch and remember and relate to so it's very important to bring gratitude down here to an earthly plane and this is part of meditation,
Meditation often takes us up to a deep elevated state within ourselves but to bring the experience down here to the earthly level,
To the material level is as important as elevating because it helps you to recognize that the gift that you're receiving is a beautiful gift that will be continuous and that you'll receive this and you create the space and the structure to allow for receptivity to be part of your daily activity,
To be part of your daily thinking,
Your daily feeling when you materialize the structure of openness and receptivity because of receiving this gift,
Because of sensing and feeling and connecting to gratitude,
Then you transform your life you transform the habits that create a structure within your life and that create a repetitive,
Sometimes negative repetitive type situation,
You change this so that what you're receiving is the positive healing qualities and what you're repeating in your thoughts and your feelings is the appreciation,
The gratitude that you sense within manifests as a physical,
Material,
Objective,
Subjective experience and it's wonderful when you do this because when you begin to practice gratitude on an earthly plane,
Then you are creating a new structure,
A new reference that allows your meditation to elevate even more deeply into the spaciousness of the experience that we have when we're connected to the infinite so we're helping the infinite on some level,
Helping the infinite to be more recognizable,
More tangible,
More within reach here on this material level so you're channeling the energy,
This is what you're doing really,
You're channeling the universal consciousness,
You're channeling universal consciousness so that universal consciousness touches deep consciousness within and deep consciousness touches the structure of the world and transforms the material so the material becomes sacred,
So your experience,
Your material experience,
Your physical body experience,
Your emotional experience,
Your mental experience becomes sacred because of your openness to receiving the gift,
The gift that some people call grace so when you're open and receptive and receiving grace in this way,
Then the sacred is not just out there in the infinite space of universal consciousness but the sacred is also tangible so the aura or the luminosity that's within your body shines very bright and it's very interesting when you begin to create this structure within you because as you reward your heart,
As you sort of say to your heart,
Here I am connecting to you,
Perhaps placing the palms of your hands upon your heart and saying I'm here with you,
Connected to this experience so consciousness is not only having the experience of infinity in universal consciousness or God or the sacred that is beyond oneself but also you're affirming within the heart structure,
The physical heart structure I'm here reminding you of this experience that consciousness is having and I'm sensing this experience,
I'm feeling this experience,
This experience is becoming luminous within me and of course all this sounds very esoteric and perhaps difficult to comprehend but when you begin to practice gratitude then it makes sense,
When you feel and sense gratitude you can do this right now,
Placing your hand,
Just the palms of your hands upon your heart and then saying to your heart,
Communicating to your heart,
I am in a state of gratitude,
I'm in a beautiful state of gratitude,
Then you will begin to feel uplifted by the connection that your heart creates on this physical material dimension with the sacred that sometimes is veiled or invisible to the more material aspects of ourselves so just reflect for a moment and sense gratitude and if it helps think of things that help you to feel gratitude,
Simple things,
Maybe natural beauties that you remember,
A forest or the stars or just simple things that have happened to you,
Just simple things,
Perhaps just the knowledge that's being transmitted at the moment gratitude helps you to put things into perspective and perspective is about connecting to the structure,
The structure that you're creating through your attitude so gratitude creates a positive structure but that structure needs to be accessible and the way to create this accessibility is to remind yourself that this structure is a gift and sense this gift,
Remind yourself of this gift so today gift yourself every time you come back to gratitude,
Every time you come back to this positive within your heart,
Gift yourself with something immediately make sure that the gift is real and tangible so I'm not saying to go on a holiday sometime in the future or to reward yourself next week but in the moment when you feel gratitude perhaps just touching this part of your body,
The heart and saying that is wonderful or perhaps just massaging your foot or just rubbing or tapping a point within your body,
Say the tension that may be in the jaws and just tapping that point so that your body feels oh,
There is a recognition I'm being recognised because very often in spirituality we get so connected to the sacred we forget the material also needs to be part of the transformation your body,
Your emotional body,
Your feelings,
Your thoughts,
Even though mundane,
Require this connection to the sacred to elevate to a new state of recognition and that recognition is the new structure that you can create today through your meditation and through being aware of gratitude in the most simple of ways,
Just the gratitude that you're breathing right now let us practice this,
As you breathe in and breathe out,
Sense the gratitude,
I'm alive,
I'm breathing,
I'm breathing in vitality and health and well being,
I'm breathing in positivity,
I'm breathing in this heart reminder that's happening within me as I place my hands upon my heart that I am part of this wonderful experience that is life and you may wish to just breathe in and breathe out and connect to whatever helps you to connect to gratitude,
To remember gratitude,
To sense gratitude and just do this for a few moments,
Breathing in,
Breathing out and connecting to the sacred within the material,
Within the physical dimension,
Within your body,
Within your thoughts,
Within your feelings deep breath,
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Deep breath and you may wish to continue for a few more moments,
Integrating the experience of gratitude in your meditational practice and later on today,
Integrating gratitude in your everyday activity thank you

Tony, I am so grateful for you. I moved last week to mainland Mexico, and was distracted by fear, when there is so much beauty to focus on instead. I so appreciate finding this meditation to remind me I am changing the structure of my experience and how to do it.
