You you you you making sure that you find a comfortable position to sit up or lie down and just enjoy and be receptive to the satsang Just making sure that all things around you flow in this wonderful way where you're receptive and open to knowledge and wisdom It's so very interesting how much time we spend with doing and being preoccupied and just giving a lot of our energy to aspects of life that are really in the end not that important if we were able to see it from that perspective where we prioritize what is useful and helpful in our spiritual journey and what is just entertainment or preoccupation with negative aspects of the mind and in the end not really that useful So interesting to see things from an energy perspective rather than from a personal perspective If we were able to see things and just measure it in quantities of energy Is this aspect of my spiritual practice worth all this energy?

For example the energy that we put into being preoccupied with a negative thought or just being bored or being sad or being unhappy or being just not connected to the vitality and the wonderful miracle that is life So very interesting if we if we look at it in this way sometimes things get put into a perspective that's very new and actually very helps to reveal the secrets of life And this is of course what the many mystical people of the past and many of the mystical schools of the pasts used to highlight Everything is energy and in the end our choice here in this manifestation in this world is What are we doing with the energy that comes our way that somehow Is channeled through us either on a physical level or emotional level or mental level?

What do we do with these energies?

How do we channel them?

How do we focus their energies upon things that are useful or things that are not useful?

Very often if we sit there and worry about something What are we doing with the energy?

We're focusing the energy Perhaps Not just in the way that we're thinking about things or the way that we're experiencing the world but also focusing the energy of such negative thoughts on a physical level focusing the energy on different parts of our body So we may be focusing the energy in such a way where our shots are Such a way where our shoulders or our breath or our bodies react and become very reactive Because the energies not flowing the energy is getting Constricted by the fact that it's not really life-giving.

It's not Allowing for that natural flow to happen and so our bodies react and constrict in such a way where the energy stops and that focus then becomes distorted because the constriction or the stopping of the energy at one point means that we're not able to flow and complete the communication of that energy point and rather get caught in a belief system or perspective that is very very linear and very very difficult for the body to understand.

This is why if you're stressed or if you're thinking about something negative It's very important that you move your physical body or mystics have known about this in the past To just sit and worry is very worrisome but to walk or to just move and to allow the energy that is worrying you to to move beyond that constricted state which the body is experiencing allows for a flow and perhaps an alignment to the communication that lies deeper within such constriction so It's not that there is some sort of heavenly body that we need to reach for very often in meditation this there is this sort of struggle to reach a place or to cross Some sort of invisible line.

I've got to get there somewhere not sure where it is,

But I need to get there somewhere and There is this sort of drive that is constantly moving the energy not where the energy needs to move but rather moving the energy to a perspective that Is quite a belief system it's quite It's quite an idea about something that has nothing to do with reality.

So We might have that perspective in spiritual practice I need to reach this point call it enlightenment or God or the divine or freedom or higher consciousness or Bliss whatever and I need to reach that point.

And so there is this sort of struggle to get somewhere but Getting somewhere doesn't really take you anywhere because that place that you're trying to get to is an illusion in itself so trying to get to Bliss is an illusion simply because you you can't get to bliss you have to be bliss trying to get to higher consciousness Doesn't work simply because the trying in itself shows Shows you or reveals to you that that perspective of trying wanting desiring needing to get to a place That's different from where you're at is already a lower conscious Perspective conscious.

It's not a very conscious perspective.

It's a perspective that Is formed from a space of lower consciousness?

Because there is this sort of idea that we have to Get to a place and that is lower consciousness.

What is lower consciousness lower consciousness is being separate from oneself from the essence of oneself higher consciousness is being connected and aligned to The essence of oneself.

So when you are in a state of separation You are in a state of lower consciousness and when you're in a state of lower consciousness and separation then there is this yearning To come back home to a place within yourself that feels more integrated that is experienced as more blissful and more happy but if That perspective is born out of the suffering that comes from separation or from this idea That you are separate or belief system that you are separate and so that that which you are seeking is compensating for That unhappiness or compensating for that sort of state of separation rather than actually addressing the essence of the structure of the situation then It's the same thing.

It's like throwing petrol into fire and hoping that it will sort of calm down our desires and needs are what allow for that fire to just go move out of control and So that control that we attempt to to sort of control the fire with What we believe to be something that will put The fire out is actually that which creates more energy and more substance to keep that situation going so the ego mind that wants happiness that desires happiness when it has an idea or a picture of that somewhere that needs to be reached for That is what is creating the whole structure of suffering in the first place So the first thing to do is to walk away from the fire and to say I don't need to be here This is not my reality.

This is my ego's reality I don't need to be sort of worrying and caught in the energy of the fire.

Of course,

It's very powerful Of course,

It's going to draw you in and of course,

You know,

It seems like It's something that you need to take care of The ego the needs the desires Are there a part of your experience?

You can't just walk away from such or can you of course you can?

Why not?

If you put things into perspective if you understand that That which you are focusing upon is creating your reality.

Then why can't you walk away from it?

See I'm not saying to walk away and Just pretend things not not to be real or just to hope that they will disappear if you sort of and don't interact with them but to walk away means to walk away so that The path that you are walking upon is the path where you trust the deeper communication within yourself the conscious aspect of yourself and You need to walk away from the lower state of consciousness to come back to consciousness because you need to let go of that which is is structuring your mind to believe that something is important like crossing that invisible line like getting there that place that mystical place that the mind sort of hoping to get to and identifies as this or that or subconsciously sort of hopes that it's going to be some sort of structure that will Create some sort of grace or save us save us from the suffering that we are receiving within the structure of our minds If we drop all that and the path that we Embark upon is the path Which I call the path of the heart The path of the heart and the path of the heart Is a space that cannot be Understood through just conceptual thinking you can only understand this space when you begin to walk Your talk that means the deepest aspect of communication within yourself Is the path that you're walking?

You're not walking towards a need or a desire But you're walking towards those aspects of the heart that allow you to be so free so selfless That what you're giving To the world is more yourself than the idea of yourself That is very difficult for any human being to do Simply because of course when we come into this world we come into this world already with baggage We already have for example the brain that thinks About problems what's known as the negative bias we already have situations that we inherit that somehow genetically form the structure of our mind so that we think and Realize the world and understand the world in a specific way so already We are on some level born into separation and that is what the manifestation in This physical dimension of experience means that we are actually Recognizing that somehow on some level there is a separation But that recognition doesn't form The structure of our lives or the structure of our thinking When we walk away from that space what we're walking back to is the essential quality that was the creative within Evolution the creative Space that allowed for Evolution to happen in the first place allowed for us to evolve to this point right now where we're able to challenge if The way that things have been structured is the only structure That we can define as our own reality So is evolution the only possible way of seeing the mystical consciousness that is oneness Of course we know that we have moments of grace or moments whereby the state of our Thinking expands to such a degree Some people call this transcendence whereby such an experience Inspires us to remember that we're more than just that linear Conceptual thinking that has evolved through time that we are in touch with a much deeper Respective and this much deeper perspective I call the path of the heart.

So when you come back to this heartfelt connection By letting go of the structures that cause pain ego mind that wants and or desires freedom Or sometimes desire is just the mundane pleasures and entertainments of life or sometimes Desires more money or more this or more that To fulfill this idea of happiness this ideal of happiness when we realize that That really doesn't give us very much In the end,

Of course,

It's important.

This is why we've evolved And survived up to this point.

It's important to eat.

It's important to do the basic things that keep you alive but this Structure that we've created within our perception of reality whereby the mind has Has forgotten its connection to the heart and is very focused on the ego mind the desires and the needs In the hope that Fulfillment will happen is an illusion And this is the illusion that you can step away from Now it's not very difficult because there are so many examples that Get That are thrown at us Every moment of our lives for us to sort of make a choice We have a choice Do I choose to give energy We go back to the very beginning of the satsang I choose to give my energy measure how much energy that is to this situation Or to that situation doesn't mean you stop giving energy to mundane aspects of the world just notice What they mean to you?

Notice how much energy you're putting into for example Your negative thinking your worry your stress rather than being in this moment and actually just doing what needs to be done So many people I would say spend 50 to 90 percent of their Energy just worrying stressing being anxious Being caught in the past being caught in the future That's energy 90 percent of your energy goes there for some Okay for others less Even if you are doing nothing Even if you're sitting down and say okay,

I don't need to worry about anything.

Yeah,

Just watch your mind.

Where is it?

Is it?

Relaxed sitting there and just saying oh,

This is such a beautiful moment Or are you thinking about the next thing or feeling the next thing or?

Caught in a picture about the past or the future about something that is totally Disconnected from what's going on right now in this moment,

Of course I would say perhaps more than 90 percent of our energy is invested In things that just don't take us anywhere that just revolve around the very same point Which is the ego mind that gets lost in itself thinking that itself Is more important than life Now that's such a contradiction so there we are caught in ourselves and our needs and our desires And the structure of the mind of course has formed around that picture or that paradigm and there we are hoping to get somewhere And that somewhere Is still part of the ego mind structure so that place that we're trying to get to So that place that we're trying to get to is still part of that 90 percent Of energy that we're investing not in this moment,

But in the next one in the hope that salvation will come and somehow provide us with some sort of grace so that we can move out of this dilemma or this constriction or this stress or this anxiety or this whatever The challenge may be for you Now that structure is in itself faulty so if we begin By realizing okay,

Where do I want to invest?

My energy Then at least we challenge that faulty structure and say okay This doesn't work for me anymore may have worked in the past,

But it doesn't work for me anymore I choose To put my energy into this moment Now don't try in this moment to figure out what this moment means for you,

But just be present here right now Breathing embracing aligning To the mystical to the unknown And just let go of the mundane Let go of Let go of those worries those stresses those whatevers that the mind is so preoccupied with Come back Here your heartfelt connection here It's wonderful just to breathe and to let go And to just relax into this moment Everything begins to flow in the natural way that energy flows and that is begins to flow In a vibrant Amazingly powerful way That is energy energy.

We're not constricted energy We're not limited by our thoughts or by our feelings or by our paradigms belief systems flows This energy known as kundalini life force this energy that has been known throughout the ages I call it life force Now flows in a way that even sometimes overwhelms The mind because we have so much energy to attend to the real things that are important That everything begins to manifest in a very miraculous way And everything that seemed difficult everything that seemed challenging in the past just begins to flow in a way that Is almost obvious and you think to yourself but How could I have not thought about this before how could I have not understood this before?

It's like almost a cosmic joke Everything makes total sense,

But it always has but somehow the brain Through the needs and desires of the ego was brainwashed to believing that that world that world that you're now allowing Yourself to explore through the expansion of energy through the expansion of Energy through the expansion of just consciousness the transcendence beyond the self Now remembers itself It's almost as if You wake up from a dream and you say ah This is the world.

I was just dreaming that is the wonderful thing that one begins to recognize not just in one's own awakening the awakening of the heart but also in the awakening that is happening on a very subtle level around us But for this process to speed up for this process of awakening to materialize In this mundane world for everyone It is important that right now in your practice you measure the energy you put into things And ask yourself Am I putting the energy into This beautiful moment or am I waiting for the next moment to happen?

Deep breath As you let go Breathe in Breathe out And embrace the vibration of the who The mystical sound that reminds us to come back here to this moment So So So So So So You
