Hello,
Everyone.
I'm Tanya.
This full moon meditation that we're doing today is about transitions and certainly not just transitions but also in terms of being able to let go of what no longer serves us and to release that holding that we cling to and the resistance to change or the resistance to,
Yeah,
Whatever is potential in front of us,
Right?
And so many of us have maybe lost a way of life or maybe even lost loved ones this year.
And loss is certainly part of life.
And also with that non-grasping of what we might have been clinging to,
It does provide us with some opportunities.
So today's mudra to support us in this practice today,
To support us in this transition is called the Trimurti Mudra.
And the Trimurti Mudra thumbs come together and the fingertips touch forming a triangle.
And we just place it just on our belly.
So if you're sitting,
You can do this.
You could be lying down and doing this Trimurti Mudra.
And basically this Trimurti Mudra represents three deities or body,
Mind,
And spirit in our beings.
And again,
It's the symbol of sacred femininity and these three deities,
Body,
Mind,
And spirit.
So in this mudra,
We are looking to feel a sense of support and feel a sense of,
You know,
The mother being held by the mother.
And the moon in some cultures is represented or acknowledged like more of a grandmother.
Sometimes grandmother moon,
You might hear that.
So it's the wisdom that comes to us from not only our ancestors,
But also in this deep connection that we have to our body,
Mind,
And spirit.
And ideally we find the union.
And this is where this Trimurti Mudra comes in.
And in this releasing of what no longer serves us and welcoming and possibilities,
We stay grounded in the arms of mother,
Basically,
Or grandmother.
So get yourself comfortable.
Find a tall spine.
Your eyes can be closed or open.
And take a deep breath in through the nose and a deep breath out.
And as you breathe in,
It is welcoming in new.
And as you breathe out,
It is the discarding or the letting go of.
So what would you like to let in in this full moon?
And what do you want to let go of?
The breath draws us in and down.
And the breath releases us up and out.
The breath in is an opportunity.
The breath out is an obstacle.
The breath in is that which we wish to embody more of.
The breath out is that which we wish to let go of.
So as you receive your breath,
Feel it drawing in and down.
And as you breathe out,
Feeling the emptying.
That emptying is an opportunity now for the next breath to come in.
For when we are grasping and holding onto something tightly,
It's very difficult to let anything else in.
And on this full moon,
We can even bring in gratitude and abundance for this moment.
For what it is that we have been able to do,
What we have been able to make use of.
And if it now no longer serves us,
We thank it and let it go.
And you may feel maybe there's a feeling that you would like to release.
Maybe there's a feeling you'd like to welcome in.
And embody that fully,
Wholeheartedly into your heart as you sit next to your heart and sit in the heart.
Welcoming in our bodies,
Our mind,
And our spirit so that as we move forth the path of life,
We are aligned.
Our actions,
Our words,
Our thoughts are in alignment.
Whether we're in our seated meditation,
Whether we're doing our work in the world,
Whether we're interacting,
We have relationships with other people,
With the divine.
The Trimurti Mudra is supporting us in this place of gratitude of the womb where birth,
The birth of an idea,
And the birth of a feeling can gestate where we welcome in an opportunity,
The newness with gratitude.
For as we are transitioning from what no longer serves us to opportunity,
We are being held by the womb,
By Grandmother Boon to support us.
When we sit in the stillness,
We sit in the quiet of the feminine.
And we pause and we wait and we listen.
And if a tear arises,
Let it flow,
Allowing the tear to join and become a river that flows to the ocean,
Flows to that openness,
To that fullness,
To the reflection then,
And the fullness of the moon,
Sitting,
Residing,
Supporting us and the change to be able to move forward,
Allowing opportunities as we release obstacles.
And just as the breath rises and falls,
Flows in and out.
So do the cycles of the moon,
The tide,
Letting go of that that no longer serves and welcoming in that that's a supports,
That builds our life,
That builds our prana.
Whatever arises,
Let it arise.
Show gratitude.
And is this something that will support you in your journey forward,
That will keep you aligned in body,
Mind,
And spirit?
Should No One Love you?
If you still have that hand mudra,
Just go ahead and release it.
And if possible,
Just stay present with the eyes downward or closed,
Looking inward and taking a seat at the heart.
And begin to welcome in the surface beneath you.
Find a little bit of movement in the fingers and the wrists and lift the gaze.
Releasing the left hand on the heart and the right hand on top.
And I wish you all many full moon blessings as you move forward on your path,
Sitting at the seat of the heart with great love and respect to each and every one of you.
Namaste.
