Through the crown chakra, we begin to make sense of the world and our place in it as divine beings living in a human body. Welcome in wisdom and grace as daily insights lead to the illumination and enlightenment applied to the seemingly mundane existence. Connect to the trust and confidence in your broader purpose, no longer separated from source. This is day 21 of a 21 series and can be practiced as a standalone journey or through the chakras, also published on Tonya's page.

Welcome to today's meditation on the Crown Chakra,

The Sahaswara.

This illumination,

Its thousand-fold connectivity,

Divinity,

That we are all united,

That we are all one and we come from the same place.

And my teacher says that we come into this plane through the Crown Chakra and when,

And this is if we have come through with a natural birth,

Coming through the Crown Chakra to come to this plane to learn how to operate as divine beings in an earthly form.

And as we have seen,

We're working progressively up from the root to the crown and we are setting intentions to become more whole and to become more radiant in our light as earthly divine beings.

And we can set an intention today for this practice that whatever we do,

That we are working constantly with honing in our skills and honing in this meditation practice for not only our own good but for the good of all.

And that's all we can do is try,

Right?

And if we don't put the work in,

Then we don't reap the benefits.

And we don't know what those benefits are.

And that's the benefits of the practice is we don't know.

We get lost in meditation and that is meditation,

The Sahaswara.

So it is awareness.

It is our unity with the divine.

It is also stillness.

It's emptiness.

It's grace.

And there is no sound associated,

At least in the lineage that I learned this,

There is no sound associated with the Sahaswara chakra.

You will hear some that ng and g is the sound,

Ng.

Some you'll hear that om is the sound of the Sahaswara.

I've also seen some that hamsa or soham is the sound of the Sahaswara.

So I'll just plant those in and you might find that some of those might resonate with you.

We will sit in silence today.

We will find the quiet still grace that comes in.

When this chakra is out of balance,

Let's say when it's overactive,

We have a spiritual addiction.

We are over intellectualizing everything.

We're spacey and we're disassociated from the earthly chakras.

We are disassociated from our body.

When it's deficient,

We are materialistic,

Which means that we are heavier in the earth chakras.

So we become,

We grip,

We hold on to things.

Also in the deficiency,

We become cynical,

Not just cynicism and everything,

But cynicism specifically in spirituality.

And so we're going to work today in this meditation in quiet and stillness.

How many of you take time for quiet?

And certainly it relates to the pituitary and the hypothalamus glands.

And the hypothalamus excretes hormones that are regulates hormones from the pituitary gland.

And the pituitary regulates the whole endocrine system.

So essentially the Sahaswara chakra is the endocrine and the nervous system.

And so let's go ahead and find a comfortable position where we can reside in a place of calm,

Where our practice meets that nervous system and meets us at this place of calm and peace.

So go ahead and close your eyes if you like.

Your hands can just be resting comfortably on your lap or to your sides.

You can choose any hand mudra that's comfortable for you.

You might find that the palms are facing up to receive.

You might find that to feel more grounded that you touch your hands to one another or bring the thumb tips or the index and the thumbs together.

Anything that makes you stay grounded as we begin to experience the crown chakra.

And so before we begin,

I'd like just to take a moment to honor wisdom seekers,

Our wise elders,

Our teachers,

Our mentors,

Those that have come before us and have paved this path,

And those that are within us,

That inner teacher,

That inner guru.

Thanking all of these teachers that have brought us to this moment,

That have been a guide,

That have been an inspiration,

That have been a source of wisdom.

And now find the quiet stillness of your body,

That place inside of you,

The place where this practice meets your nervous system and you find calm.

The place inside of you where peace and love reside in everything and is pervasive.

Draw your attention to the crown of your head,

The Sahaswara chakra.

Feeling and radiating thousandfold petals of swirling light like diamonds,

A field of diamonds,

A vortex of diamonds,

And feeling this calm emerge from the source of the heart to the source of the divine,

There is this open connection as we welcome in grace,

Peace,

And we extend that outward,

This flow,

This current of light radiating.

And continue to ask for guidance,

Ask for the wisdom.

Seek grace in your unconscious aspect of being.

The crown chakra is also a source of enlightenment,

Enlightenment comes in pieces little by little.

They're small insights that expand our awareness and these bits of insights can be applied to whenever and wherever it's needed.

So ask it to come in now,

Ask for insight,

Ask for the wisdom,

And rest in the calm peace to receive.

Feeling your consciousness expand and radiate beyond your own body to the connection to all of life and all dimensions in all beings.

There is no separation.

See that your essential nature is united with the whole as freedom,

As unity,

As harmony,

As form and love is happens.

Feeling the love pour from you.

As you receive.

Resting in the calm.

You.

You.

And taking a deep breath in.

All the way down to the tailbone to the feet.

And then exhaling from your feet to the crown.

Inhaling down to the feet.

Exhaling to the crown.

One more time.

And if your eyes are closed,

I invite you to open them and maybe take a few shoulder rolls,

Head neck rolls,

Rub the hands together.

And then placing your left hand on your heart and your right hand on top.

Maybe closing the eyes again.

And with great love and respect.

Honor that inner wisdom.

Namaste.
