Hello my love,
Welcome to this guided meditation for when you're feeling overwhelmed,
Whether it be at work,
Life in general,
Things are just piling up.
This should get you in a much calmer,
Clearer place after taking a few minutes to just ground,
Connect with your breath,
And listen to the sound of my voice.
All you need to worry about right now is listening to the sound of my voice.
Coming to a seated or laying down position,
Somewhere you can get comfortable where your back is supported,
And you can really rest in this seat.
I want us to start by connecting deeply to our heart space.
Begin by taking a deep inhale,
And as you inhale,
Imagine your heart being filled with compassion,
Care,
And respect.
And as you exhale,
Imagine your entire body is being cleansed of anything telling you that you aren't doing enough.
With each inhale,
Allow it to wash away with the biggest exhale that you can take.
Let's just stay here for a moment with that visual in our mind,
Inhaling compassion,
Exhaling judgment,
Just releasing anything that feels like you're being judged,
Like you're judging yourself.
Just let that go with every exhale that you take.
With every inhale,
Imagine others giving you and showing you more compassion,
Showing yourself compassion,
And showing anyone that you come into contact with compassion as well.
Imagine that,
Just filling your heart,
Inhaling care,
Exhaling overwhelm,
Thinking of self-care,
Care for your mind,
Care for your body,
And just letting go of anything that's taking you away from caring for yourself in this moment.
Inhaling respect,
Exhaling any negative self-talk,
Letting go of anything that's making you feel less than what you truly are right now.
Anything that's a negative self-talk,
Just let that go.
Let those thoughts go.
If they happen to come up,
Just return to your breath and say,
I release you.
As you continue to breathe,
I want to give you some affirmations.
Feel free to listen,
Say these out loud in your head,
Whatever works best for you.
Just truly feel these affirmations speaking to you,
To your heart,
To your mind,
To your soul.
Even if you don't feel these to be true right in this moment,
Just try to embrace them.
And if it feels good,
Speak them with me.
I am doing a wonderful job.
I give everything,
All that I have to give,
And I only pour from an overflowing cup.
It's okay if I don't get everything done by the end of the day.
I am proud of who I am.
I am proud of what I've accomplished.
I've accomplished so many great things in my life.
I have compassion for myself.
I know how to set boundaries and uphold them.
I am doing a great job.
I am proud of who I am.
It's okay if I don't get everything done in one day.
I respect my boundaries no matter what.
I love who I am,
And I love who I'm becoming.
I'm proud of how much I respect my boundaries.
It's easy for me to say no.
It's okay for me to say no.
I am doing a great job.
It's okay if I don't get everything done by the end of the day.
I am proud of who I am.
I have compassion for myself.
I know how to set boundaries and uphold them.
It's okay if I don't get everything done in one day.
I'm proud I'm proud of my ability to hold my boundaries and to respect myself.
I love who I am,
And I love who I'm becoming.
People look up to me for how I set my boundaries.
I balance my work and my life perfectly.
I am proud of who I am.
I've accomplished so many things in my life.
I know how to set boundaries and uphold them.
I have compassion for myself.
I am doing a great job.
I respect my boundaries no matter what.
I am proud of who I am.
I am proud of who I'm becoming.

If you're still with me,
Begin to deepen your breath as I bring you out of this meditation.
I just want you to feel or imagine my hands just coming down on top of your shoulders and taking off the weight that is upon them right now.
Just place your hand on your heart as you feel that weight,
As you feel that weight being removed.
Feel the spaciousness that's available for these new affirmations and for this new way of walking into your day.
Continuing to deepen the breath and maybe starting to wiggle the fingers and wiggle the toes to bring some movement back into the body.
As you feel ready,
Maybe coming to a seated position if you aren't already,
Opening your eyes,
Moving through the day with a new outlook and peacefulness.
