Fabulous! I think that this is a very important conversation to listen to, and will be sharing it widely. “If we could love Donals Trump rather than idolizing him.” Boom! I do think that there are a couple points that require further elaboration, namely re: ego and persona, and re: sexuality. That said, I am very impressed by the recognition of the role of persona in egoic problems. Regarding sexuality, I think it is crucial to discern between Eastern and Western beliefs and practices. Tantric tradition provides a foundation, not only is spiritual development but of psychological maturation that make it possible to draw upon sexual energy and practice to cultivate love. Modern Western practices are largely focused on stimulating dopamine highs, resulting in an extremely widespread problem of sexual addiction and sexual narcissism, with exceedingly poor interpersonal connection. The feminine principle is nearly absent altogether. I also greatly appreciate the recognition of the fact that masculine and feminine principles are not tied to the genitals, such that the same spiritual principles apply regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.
