This latest meditation in the Soul-full Path series explores how to live an easier life by entering into service where we look after ourselves first so we are better placed to look out for others. The key to doing this is to treat ourselves to some 'me time' in meditation and reflection every single day. The ambient music for this meditation is called The Soul Wave, and you will find it on the app.

In this guided meditative visualization we'll explore a method by which you can live your life so that opportunity and serendipity turn up at your door every single day.

Entering service is not about joining a monastic order and giving all your possessions away,

Neither is it about serving others before yourself.

When we enter service we align ourselves fully with our purpose in life.

As a result of this we begin to live a fulfilled life where we serve ourselves first spiritually,

Emotionally,

Socially,

Intellectually and entertainingly.

This of course places us in a fabulous position to help others without our own energy being drained.

So here's 10 ways to fully show up in the world.

And you can do this meditation either sitting up or lying down,

But it's probably best with your eyes closed.

So make yourself comfortable and enjoy entering the new world and a new way of being.

Before we start scan your body for any tensions.

Start here ahead moving past your forehead into your tongue and your jaw,

Your neck,

Your shoulders and from your shoulders down your upper arms to your elbows,

And your lower arms to your wrists and your fingers,

Your chest,

Your stomach,

Your hips and your thighs,

Your knees and your shins and calves,

Your ankles,

Into your feet and all the way into your toes.

And when you discover a tension just breathe into it and let it go.

Just for today,

Notice the interconnectivity of everything.

Notice how each of your choices in life has led you to this point.

This of course means that the choices you make to make have led you to this point.

This of course means that the choices you make today will lead you to new pastures.

A great choice to make would be to treat yourself to some me time each and every day for the rest of your days.

Just for today,

Notice the cyclical nature of things.

And that this particular circle is more like a spiral going upwards.

Just for today,

See any adversity and struggle as a sign you've wandered off path,

And that there is an easier way.

At the same time,

See any procrastination as a sign that you're on to something big,

But are running an avoidance strategy from being magnificent by being a busy fool.

Just for today,

Notice signs and serendipities.

Notice too why you've noticed them,

And give thanks to the unseen forces of your higher consciousness for bringing them to your self-conscious awareness.

Your mission,

Should you choose to accept it,

Is to act upon them.

Just for today,

Return to the breath.

If you feel your blood boil,

Or if you are short of time,

Remember you are in control of your moods and your perception of the passage of time.

At the same time,

The breath is your powerhouse of inspiration.

So if you are short of an idea,

Literally take a breather.

This is a really good thing to do in the middle of the day,

Especially if our energy flags a little.

So as we're at the middle of this meditation,

Take five in and out breaths right now.

Get cyber-trained And just for today,

Pay very close attention to random thoughts that pop in,

Especially while you are consciously breathing.

These are most likely future memories and could even be messages from a future version of you,

Sent back in time so you can evolve into being the most perfect version of yourself.

And just for today,

Sow seeds,

Nurture your existing crops,

Create new products and potential from crops already harvested.

Imagine you had to assemble a time catch all for yourself to open when you come back in a future incarnation.

What would you put in it?

And just for today,

Remember to ask for help.

Entering service can be somewhat lonely and a little intimidating.

Self doubt can surface and the best way to deal with it is to ask for a helping hand.

Do this in your daily meditation and you will be constantly delighted and awestruck at the nature and speed of assistance.

Be prepared for it to come along in the most bizarre manner and when you are least expecting it.

Just for today,

Seed your dreams and act on what comes in.

Before you retire at night,

On a scrap of paper,

Write down what you would like some help on and pop it under your pillow.

Each morning,

Wake up slowly and allow the metaphor and lessons from your dreams to percolate into your waking consciousness.

During the day,

Imagine you are in a waking dream and notice how events around you have a similar metaphorical quality.

Just for today,

Pay attention to the significance of numbers.

Repeated numbers on clocks,

Number plates,

Tend to arrive when there is a message for you.

And when you have finished listening to this meditation,

You might like to look at what the length of the meditation is in minutes and seconds.

So open your eyes slowly,

Come back into the room and step forward,

Knowing that just for today and every day,

You are not alone.

You have help anytime you need it.

And that it is a kind of madness not to treat yourself to some me time every single day.

I had more time this morning to meditate. I think I spent in listening more than 1:30 h. I just loved this one too. New learnings about the service. Cool. So clear! So obvious. Yet, hidden without pointing this out. Thank you, Tom. So much. Halka
