Welcome to the Nature Reconnect guided meditation,
Part of our Naturally Conscious Leadership group.
Before we start,
I'd like you to go outside and find any plant of your choosing to be your guide throughout this journey.
If you can't go out,
Don't worry,
You can do it with a beloved houseplant that will act as a conduit to another outdoor plant.
I also recommend that you take with you a notebook and writing materials.
This could be physical or digital,
And preferably something that will allow you to draw,
Since plants don't always use words.
The aim here is to capture what comes to you at the end of this practice in any way it may arrive.
Once you find your plant guide and have your drawing materials with you,
It's time to sit comfortably and slowly close your eyes.
You don't have to be touching the plant,
Just close enough for the plant to register your presence.
If you are working with a houseplant,
Ask the plant to choose an outdoor plant for you to connect with.
This could be a plant in your garden,
Or even a nearby park.
Not too far.
Once you have identified the plant,
Just relax and start to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Deep and slow breaths.
When you breathe in,
You breathe in new revitalized energy,
And when you breathe out through your mouth,
You let go of anything that may keep you from being fully present right here and right now.
Slow,
Deep breaths.
In for four beats,
Then hold.
Out for four beats,
Then hold.
Follow this pranic pattern to recycle your energy.
Now bring attention to every little part of your physical body.
Maintain your breath deep and slow and adjust what you may need to relax your body.
Focus on your feet first,
Then your legs,
Feeling them relax as you put your attention gently on them.
Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Move up to your pelvis and relax your torso.
Feel yourself relaxing and letting go.
Remember to breathe.
Now relax your shoulders and your arms all the way out to your hands.
Continue breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Rhythmic,
Steady,
Deep pranic breaths.
Relax your neck,
Your head,
Even every muscle of your face.
Feel yourself contract up all your muscles and then relax them out.
When you feel your body fully relax,
Release your breathing.
Let it go back to its own natural rhythm,
Breathing in and out as feels most comfortable to you to maintain this relaxed state.
Now you're ready to set your intention for this practice.
Connect in with your center wherever you feel that is in your body.
And from this place of stillness,
Ask the plant you chose,
Or most likely that chose you,
To be your guide throughout this journey.
Ask for Ki's help to let go of old energy and later to invite in what most nourishes you in this moment.
You can feel within you the connection being established.
You're ready to be in an open communication with this plant and Ki is ready to work with you.
Gently and decisively ask the plant to pull from you any energy that no longer serves.
Go on,
You can ask.
Allow Ki to clean you from any old energy you're still carrying around.
Energy that is of no use to you anymore and that Ki is happy to take off your hands.
Energy that is no use to you anymore.
You may see or feel or have an intuition as to what it is that the plant is pulling from you,
But you may not.
In any case,
You can feel old energy leaving your system and allow this energy to move freely,
Looking out for any possible blocks or any places where the energy might accumulate as it tries to make its way out.
If you run into any situations where you feel the energy is not moving,
Ask Ki to help you unblock that particular path.
This is not the time to necessarily understand what is happening,
But more to allow yourself to trust and feel.
And don't worry about the plant keeping this energy,
Because Ki won't.
Right now Ki is taking this energy out from you and down into Ki's roots to be transmuted by decomposers and detritivores.
The decomposers are transforming it by consuming nutrients on a subtle level and the detritivores are breaking it up as they feed off of it.
The cycle of energetic life mirrors the cycle of physical life.
It's the perfection of nature.
The energy that no longer serves you is now being used to nourish other beings.
Let go of everything that is unnecessary to you right now and let nature do what nature does.
A little more.
Let it all out.
Let go.
Trust that Ki can handle everything you have to give.
When you feel ready,
You can take the next step.
You'll now ask the plant to send you that exact energy that will most nourish you in this very moment.
Remember,
Ki absorbs energy from many sources and transforms and produces,
Giving away the excess and that which can nourish the overall ecosystem.
So ask the plant to send you that energy.
Trust that the plant will give you what you need most in this moment,
Keeping reserves for Ki's self in order to ensure that the ecosystem is balanced and healthy.
You start to receive all of this beautiful,
Generous,
Nourishing energy from the plant.
These nourishments come down into the plant and mix in with everything else that the plant receives from others to create a body of different substances,
Many of which can be helpful to you.
So trust that this process is producing exactly what you need.
All you need to do is open yourself and receive.
Receive these special substances that the plant is creating right now to nourish your future endeavors.
As this happens,
You can ask the plant to send any insight or information about how you can best use this energy.
This may come in the form of images,
Sensations,
Memories.
Be open to whatever comes,
Smells,
Tastes.
All of your senses are opening,
Including those senses that you have yet to fully understand and use.
Let it all in.
Breathe and receive this amazing gift the plant world is offering you.
Slowly,
The plant completes the transfer of energy and you let it all sink in.
You ground what you've received into your own root system.
Feeling that sturdy earth below you,
Propping you up,
Giving you the foundation that you need in order for you to fully receive and integrate.
Breathe in and out,
Deep and slow,
And allow your whole being to integrate this experience.
Allow any messages to be integrated so that they can be recalled at a later time.
Trust that they will be there when you need them most.
Now before you go,
Still with your eyes closed,
Send your gratitude to the plant who has worked with you.
If the plant is a houseplant,
Think not only the plant that acted as the conduit,
But also the plant that was originally sending the message.
These messages are open and these plants are generous.
Take your time to really feel that gratitude.
When you feel ready,
Slowly come back into the present location and open your eyes.
Slight movements of your body bring you back into this physical space and into your physical body and take out your writing materials and capture everything that has come to you during the meditation.
Let it flow from you directly,
No filters.
Be open that even something that doesn't make any sense now will make sense later.
You'll have the chance to analyze it when you decide to do so when the time is right.
Now is the time for just capturing.
Take all the time that you need to complete this work.
Thank you so much for your presence and we'll meet again soon for another nature reconnect.
This is Tigris La Gardenia.
