Tiger shares a deep reflection on what he calls the “holy sh*t” moment — the instant when you realize what you thought was your problem was sacred. He explores the quiet power of holding space, seeing the truth in others, and noticing how love hides beneath fear. This talk invites listeners to remember what’s real, especially in the middle of their mess. Rather than giving advice, Tiger reflects on his journey and offers a grounded permission to be fully human. A direct and heart-centered reminder of why it all matters. Where when you rest in this space for a while,

And you open your heart,

There's something in you that says,

Holy shit,

There's so many more possibilities,

And there's such a playground out there.

There's something that I refer back to a lot,

Which is something I call the holy shit moment.

But the premise essentially is an openness to see how what we might consider is the shit of our lives.

Within it is something so beautifully sacred.

And of course,

To see that inspires that internal voice that says,

Holy shit,

Didn't see that before.

I find myself saying that a lot in this work as I talk about these things and I talk to other people.

Just how we can go through our lives and get caught up in the noise and think that the life we think is happening is actually happening.

And yet behind all of that commotion,

There is this sacredness.

There is this sacredness that in a subtle way or sometimes obvious way invites you out of hiding,

Invites you into the splendor of what's actually true.

I hear this sweet little voice inside that says,

Open your eyes,

Sweetie.

Open your eyes.

Isn't that quite magical?

And again,

Regardless of where you might find yourself now,

Surely you know this somewhere on the inside that there are these moments where the eyes open and we just see it.

And sometimes it's just the briefest moment.

And in seeing it,

What do we see?

Surely there are not the words for it.

I saw it today when I was having a conversation with somebody.

Let me see if I can share about this without repeating all the wonderful things they said about me.

But it was just a testament to this work,

Where when you rest in this space for a while and you open your heart,

There's something in you that says,

Holy shit,

There's so many more possibilities.

This whole time,

And in this person's experience,

40-some years,

This whole time,

I imagined all these limitations,

All of these obstacles that said I couldn't love,

That said I couldn't breathe fully,

And there's such a playground out there.

And just in her recognition of it,

Watching that made my whole journey worthwhile.

You ever have an experience like that,

Right?

Like in that moment,

And often with somebody else,

It's just so beautiful that it makes your whole life worth it.

And part of what was so amazing,

It was just such a reflection of my own life.

Like she's seeing the same thing that I saw.

She's doing the same thing that I'm doing.

She's learning,

She's growing,

She's waking up.

She's stepping a little bit more outside.

And you know,

This is why for me,

And not that it has to make sense this way for everyone,

This is why for me,

To see this love,

How could you not share it?

And not in the way of talking about it,

But sharing it in how you treat people,

Sharing it in how you smile at them.

That's one of my favorite exercises to do,

Is to go sit in a public place and invite myself to see the truth of people beyond my mind's immediate assumptions.

You guys notice that,

Yeah?

Like when you look at people,

There's just knee-jerk reaction,

Which is just all of our conditioning being vomited onto this innocent bystander.

And yet behind all of that noise,

Behind all of those images that we create,

There's this beautiful creature living their own life,

Just like you,

Confused,

Just like you,

Hurting about the same things,

Just like you,

Afraid of the same thing.

And even though there's so much human discomfort or pain in that,

Knowing that it's all the same makes it so beautiful.

Yeah,

It's not always fun to be scared,

But isn't it amazing that we're scared of the same thing?

And when I talk to people and they tell me about all of their difficulties or their fears or frustrations,

The only thing I'm thinking on the inside is,

Yeah,

It sounds like me.

That sounds like being human.

What we realize is that it's just okay.

And that's what makes the whole thing difficult,

Is we think that it shouldn't be that way.

We think that we shouldn't be human.

We shouldn't have fears.

And that's the beautiful thing about holding space for others.

Again,

Not even that you have to say anything,

But to hold space with such allowing that says your human is allowed.

Is that anything other than I love you?

That's what that's saying.

I love you.

And how amazing is it that that is simply a reflection of what life is doing with us,

Holding space,

Completely allowing your human.

And as we see that,

We get to go be that for others.

And not that it paints a picture of an expectation,

But in one way,

It illustrates a purpose in everything you do.

And that purpose is because I love you.

Because I see what you really are.

Yeah.

And sometimes I'm not available to hold space for you.

I got to deal with my own shit,

But I know the truth.

I love you.

And in those moments where I feel like it's just too difficult to hold space for someone,

It's so obvious that life is saying,

Can I just hold space for you right now?

You see,

It's that in-breath and the out-breath.

Hold space for yourself.

Breathe in.

And then when you remember,

Go hold space for somebody else.

But imaginary fear.

It's time to show up.

I'm always happy to hold space with you, Tiger! I love this open, sweet talk about our shared humanness. We're all interconnected in our 'in the sh**' human moments. But how powerful are the' holy sh**' realisations in the midst of it!
