You're always experiencing your creation.
We're told that we are reacting to life.
Things are happening to us.
And that really puts us in an odd predicament.
And there's no power there.
The more you see that you're just experiencing your creation,
What a different experience that is.
You know how we've explored that things aren't personal?
And I don't know if you specifically have dove deep with me on that topic,
But I've talked about it a lot.
To see like how when somebody says something about you,
It's not about you.
It's about their idea of you and yada yada yada.
So it's just nothing's personal.
Personal is to look for validation.
Right?
When you take something personally,
You're saying this is about me and it's not about you at all.
And this also reminds me of the past life experience.
That's yet another example of,
Oh,
This isn't personal,
Right?
It's almost like it's not about me.
It's like this is something else that I'm holding space for.
And I say that because when we come into this world,
You're not coming into it on your own,
Separate from everyone else,
Separate from the past and separate from the future.
You're coming into it as one that is connected to all of that.
That is that.
And so what you might think is the shit of your conditioning.
It's not really yours.
It's the world's.
Right?
Past,
Present,
And future.
And your experience is simply holding space for one aspect of it.
Do you see that?
When it's one aspect of it,
It seems like it's yours because you're carrying it.
But no,
You're just presented with the job,
So to speak,
To hold space for this bit.
It wants to heal itself.
And whether it looks like it comes from your immediate life or whether it comes from the past,
It's all the same thing.
None of it's really yours.
You're just asked to hold space for it.
And that's what I see as our sort of role when we come into this life is that we're not just dealing with our individual human problems.
We are fulfilling a particular function to hold space for that aspect of the human experience.
It's kind of like when we come into this world and we go down particular paths that seem like beyond our own choosing.
It's almost like life has said,
Hey,
Will you go find some love here?
Will you go down this road for me and see what you can find?
Because that's really what I see happening is that for love to expand,
It has to explore all pathways.
It has to explore all roads.
And so out of the estimated 50 billion people that have been alive,
Look at all the infinite pathways.
Right?
And none of them repeat.
They're all profoundly unique.
And look at all the different expressions of life,
Whether it's vegetation or insects.
Right?
Billions upon billions of experiences.
Consciousness having an experience.
It's like it's just it's exploring everything.
And just in one little conscious experience like you,
There's a whole world,
Right?
There's a whole universe happening.
So much to explore.
And then the other thing with the creating the experience,
It's so brilliant the way that you're putting it.
Because that simple shift from openness to curiosity invites playfulness.
And with that little shift,
You are now experiencing something entirely different than what you were experiencing in a state of resistance.
Isn't that amazing?
Right?
Because so often we think we are experiencing the thing that we're resisting.
But we're actually experiencing our resistance.
And just like we think that when it's playful,
We think we're experiencing that playful thing out there.
No,
You're experiencing your own playfulness.
It's like you're always experiencing your creation.
But yeah,
We're taught in sort of a reactive state.
We're told that we are reacting to life.
Things are happening to us.
And that really puts us in an odd predicament.
Because it's just not true.
And there's no power there.
You know what that's saying?
It's saying that the power exists in that thing that's affecting you.
And you can see the shift that that has on your psyche.
Right?
Where it looks like the thing out there is the thing with power.
And so you kind of cower down to it.
But I'll tell you,
When you,
The more you see that you're just experiencing your creation,
What a different experience that is.
Like if I write something on social media and someone leaves a nasty comment,
I created the comment.
Right?
Because what I'm reading is my interpretation.
Right?
I am reading what I think it means.
Same with what anyone says to me.
What am I hearing?
What I'm saying to me.
See,
You're creating everything that comes out of somebody else's mouth.
Same with their actions.
What are people's actions?
The meaning that you give them.
Isn't that wild?
