Allow your eyes to close and let your shoulders relax down away from your ears.
And we'll begin this meditation by bringing awareness to your breath.
Just observe your breathing in its natural state.
And allow this meditation to be an opportunity to pause and find joy in the present moment.
You might allow your breathing to deepen.
And as you inhale,
Allow yourself to feel a feeling of expansion.
And as you exhale,
Let everything soften and release anything that's not serving you.
Full,
Expansive breath in.
And exhale to release and let go.
Inhale,
Knowing that you contain so much light,
So much beauty within you.
And as you exhale,
Allow your whole body to soften and rest in that sensation of joy and contentment.
Become aware of the feeling of the air on your skin.
Notice the temperature of the air,
Warmth or coolness.
Notice the texture of the air.
And without thinking,
Just allow yourself to witness the sensations.
And then shifting your attention to sounds.
Sounds in the room and outside of the room.
And without labeling,
Just observe these sounds.
Note the feeling of vibration in your ears.
And then bring your awareness to your eyes.
Notice the subtle interplay of shadow and light behind your eyelids.
Take note of any images or colors that you might see.
And then move your attention to your heart.
You might rest your hands on your chest over your heart space.
Notice the beating of your heart.
Notice your breath.
Allow yourself to cultivate gratitude for your heart and your lungs working in effortless harmony.
Your body breathing itself and your heart nourishing every cell in your body.
Continue resting in awareness of your heart space.
Connecting with that space of compassion and the meaning and purpose of your life.
And allow a feeling of joy and contentment to wash over your whole body.
And then we'll take a big breath in through the nose.
And exhale to sigh it out,
Release.
And whenever you're ready,
You can find some gentle movement.
Maybe wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
And gently open your eyes.
