Pranayama is a practice of using the breath to bring stillness to the mind, emotions, and body, and to move towards deeper states of meditative awareness. In this practice, we start with alternate nostril breathing to bring balance and calm the mind and then move into the purification breaths to clear impressions and gravitate towards our natural state.
