Let's reconnect to our bodies.

You can use a few cycles of your breathing.

Every exhalation connects you to the sensations that you have right now in your body.

Anything you find in your inner world.

Flow sensations,

Body presence,

Aliveness.

And also to enjoy for a few moments just the simplicity of sitting,

Breathing,

Sensing and listening.

And then I would love us to focus for a moment.

When you tune in,

You feel like your parents passed on life to you.

Living sacredness of life.

Let's tune in with the sacred spark.

We're alive.

Life is living through us.

Life is living through so many people.

Animals,

Plants,

Organisms.

And once you connect to the sacred spark that animates your life,

That animated your parents' lives,

Animated your grandparents' lives,

Their parents' lives.

Conception after conception after conception.

Maybe we all know that intellectually.

Maybe we can get a bit of a sense,

A feeling of that lineage that we are living as the tradition of life.

The long tradition.

And to feel how that spark energizes your life,

The deep motivation,

The deep creativity.

It moved the entire lives of your ancestors.

That spark is a movement like a river.

And then if you take a moment to switch from that spark,

The liveness itself,

To the qualities of strength and resilience that you find first in your parents,

And your grandparents.

If you look what was integrated in them,

What was their resilience,

What was their core intelligence,

What were their strengths,

What was their wisdom,

What was flowing for them.

And as you tune in with your,

For example,

Parents,

Notice that you kind of change a bit the attunement from yourself,

I feel myself,

And I feel to my parents it's a different radius of sensing.

I feel my core,

Then I switch a bit and I feel my mother and my father.

Then I tune in with my grandparents,

I switch again to the next radius,

Next generational radius,

Attunement.

First we still stay with the strength,

The resilience,

The creativity,

The amazing capacity to deal with difficult circumstances,

Beauty,

Even if they also had other parts,

Of course.

As I said,

When you feel into your parents it's a certain level of attunement,

You open your attunement to the next generation,

Or maybe to,

If you want to,

To your great-grandparents' generation.

We listen to sensations,

It doesn't need to be just concrete information,

Just a practice,

And seeing what arises,

Being receptive,

Listening.

If there are different cultural fields coming together in your ancestry,

Allow for that complexity or difference.

Not to try to feel everything at once,

But to come closer,

To have enough space.

And then,

Of course,

To maybe with two generations,

Your parents and your grandparents,

Also at least see there was a strength and resilience,

But there also was their wounding.

For now,

For this time,

We just look at what was their wounding,

And we don't need to go into it that deeply,

But we recognize how their wounding affected their life,

And what they passed on to the next generation,

And to us,

The strength and the parts that were difficult for them,

In their life.

And for now,

You can bring it slowly back to,

So first that central channel,

That sense of life pulsing through different generations,

Sacredness of life is pulsing,

Pulsing through integrated and unintegrated life,

And then you bring the awareness back to your own body,

Feel your body well,

Maybe,

Some cycles of breathing around yourself again in your body,

And then see before you open your eyes,

If you look at your ancestry,

If you think of three words that come to mind when you do this short journey,

What are the three words that come up,

That fit to experience your head in the last 15 minutes,

What would describe your experience?

Curious about what will emerge as I continue to connect with my lineage. The three words that came up to describe the energy I sensed in my lineage are afraid, angry, and rigid.

Thank you for this meditation. It is a small part, a small brick in understanding my ancestors and meyself. A work, that I will continue in my further meditations and also during the next summer intensive in Oberlethe😊. See you there, greetings, Björn

This meditation helped me connect to my ancestors and start to feel into some of the ancestral wounds.
