Making Space: The Invitation Of Release
This session comes from a live gathering held on November 1, 2025, where we explored the gentle, transformative power of release. You’ll be invited to soften your grip on old patterns, ease the weight of mental and emotional clutter, and make space for what truly supports your unfolding good. The rhythm is spacious and grounded, guiding you through breath, awareness, and the sacred act of letting go. Expect a compassionate, steady exploration that helps you return to yourself with clarity, openness, and renewed inner freedom.
Transcript
I want to be like water,
Water just shaping ourselves around whatever is necessary.
Yeah.
Hmm.
Let's take a moment to bring ourselves into this presence.
Yeah.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Centering ourselves here.
Connected.
Feeling that presence of connection.
Allowing ourselves to come into this space with no weight,
No expectations,
Open heart.
Today we're going to focus on the power to release,
The ability to let go.
Tied to that is surrender and forgiveness.
Think of it as clearing space,
Making space.
And so we invite this faculty of release,
This ability to let go of what no longer serves.
Yeah.
And in our body it's located in our lower abdomen.
Let's bring our attention to our lower abdomen,
Our base,
Our groundedness.
Yeah.
And we say thank you for this time.
Thank you for this ability to share and be in community.
And again,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
There is this idea that we can,
We can make space,
Can make space in our consciousness and in our lives.
It's through our ability to release what no longer serves.
You know,
And if you,
Uh,
If you had,
If you have your thumbs or fingertips on an emoji,
You can raise your hand here is,
Uh,
Who here,
A couple of things.
One is knows there's some things to let go of.
Number one knows there's some things that they could let go of.
Two,
Number two is who here has challenges letting go of some things.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
I'm,
I'm in on both of those.
Yep.
You know,
It can show up not only in our mental faculties,
Our internalization of things,
Right.
The inside of our selves,
But it can also show up in our external world.
You know,
Oh,
I've got to keep that thing.
Uh,
That's that thing.
That is that thing.
That's that thing.
Right.
So,
Oh,
That thing.
Yeah.
That,
That thing.
I got to keep that thing.
Uh,
There's that.
And then there's the ruminating,
Rolling things over and over and over again in our thoughts and allowing that to,
To be in our body somewhere,
Right.
To show up in our physicality.
And so we're,
We're carrying it mentally,
We're carrying it physically.
Uh,
You know,
In these things that,
That do this to us are,
Uh,
You know,
I was just thinking this morning,
Actually,
Just as I was pouring some tea,
Uh,
I was thinking,
Um,
From somebody close to me that I can,
I can see their,
Their experience of life is a little bit challenged.
I know it's always so easy to see what's going on for other people.
And it's not my thing.
It's not my thing to solve or go after or name or anything,
But just noticing it.
And I was thinking this morning and it really became clear,
Like,
Do you have these moments where these ideas that you have for living,
These thoughts,
These ways of operating,
They become very real in a moment.
It's like,
You know,
It's true.
You feel like it's true.
You've talked about it with yourself,
With others.
And then there's these moments where you have a glimpse,
You get,
You kind of get a glimpse of something and you can see in that moment how true it feels and it,
And our thinking it feels and thinks to be so true.
And so I was thinking about this and it was from a text that was sent and,
And it was about the experience that they were having.
And I just thought like,
Wow,
Imagine that experience could be completely different based on what's going on in the thoughts,
Based on their own perception,
Their own naming of it.
It could be a completely different experience.
And,
You know,
It was so great to,
And it wasn't a judgment on them at all.
It was an aha again of seeing how true that is for me,
At least how that notion,
That idea of our thoughts create our reality,
Our perception that it was so easy to see in that moment.
Like,
Oh yeah,
Yeah,
There it is.
That's exactly the experience could be any number of things.
You could name it in so many ways and they're naming it that way.
And it,
That same thing seems to show up in their lives a fair bit.
And it was like,
Wow.
So,
So then in,
So it's great to notice that,
Right?
That's one that's we,
In order to,
In order to move through anything,
We at least need to notice.
So it was great to notice that then,
But then for me,
Where it goes next is not,
Oh,
I need to tell that person.
It's where does this show up for me?
Where does this,
Where am I doing this?
If I'm seeing it,
You know,
If I'm getting this hit,
This idea,
I'm seeing it,
Where is that showing up for me?
And so what,
On a deeper level,
What ways of being that I have developed could be let go of?
Where could I see this and do something about this in my life?
And maybe in that somehow could be an example for this other person.
That might be a stretch.
It could be a wish,
But it starts,
It starts first here.
And so maybe there's some things I need to release.
Maybe there's some things I need to surrender to.
Maybe there's some things I need to forgive.
You know,
One of the teachings of Charles Fillmore at Unity was that it's just as necessary that one should learn to let go of thoughts,
Conditions,
And substances when they have served their purpose.
You know,
And I remember years ago in the,
This just makes me think of when I did the landmark form is that there were ideas that I set in motion in my childhood.
And I'm thinking this is all the same for all of us.
We've all had these moments where we've made choices through something happening that in order to,
You know,
Survive the experience or survive the moment,
We've made decisions that have carried us through our lives.
You know,
We could call that shadow work,
Right?
The wounded child,
Looking back and seeing where have I made choices,
Decisions,
Put in place ways of thinking,
Ways of being that are still playing and operating in me today.
And so how do I let go of those things?
How do I notice them?
How do I recognize them?
How do I let go of them?
And those are the deeper things.
And then there's the other,
There's the,
There's the,
Even the more surface things that we could look at and see how we're acting in a moment and what can we let go of?
What can we release?
And this is one of our,
You've heard me speak of them before,
The 12 powers.
One of our 12 powers is the ability to let go,
To release,
To eliminate,
To renunciate,
Right?
To be able to not only let go of thoughts and ideas,
But even the spiritual function of letting go of,
Of making sure that we're,
We're not making up stories and ideas around our spiritualness to be willing to,
You know,
I guess what I'm thinking of is this idea of spiritual bypassing things.
It's just trying to let things slide as if it's some sort of spiritual idea instead of doing the necessary work to dig in and actually let go of something.
And here's what's great is that as we,
As we actually recognize these things and choose to let them go,
We make space for new.
That's the,
That's the beautiful thing about a practice of elimination is that space is then created for something new to show up because space is a vacuum.
It's just,
It's looking,
You know,
It's looking for that.
I was listening to Florence Scovel Shin,
Florence Scovel Shin,
Book called The Game of Life.
And one of the,
One of the main themes of The Game of Life is that,
That we're,
There's a need to let go in order to have the abundance,
The prosperity.
And we're not talking about just money here.
We're talking about a life of,
A life full of vitality and health and abundance is the willingness to let go,
The willingness to make space.
We're asking,
You know,
Whatever it is,
We're asking for something in our lives.
We're looking for that next thing in our lives.
We're moving forward.
And in order to do that,
In order to,
To be able to receive these things,
We need to be able to let go of what no longer serves us.
And this could be good things.
This could be,
You know,
Hanging on to something that's worked for a long time,
But it's not working so well anymore.
And it needs,
In order for us to transition,
To transcend that,
It might need to let it go in order to fully realize the potential that's in front.
You know,
Instead of dragging the past along,
We might need to drop it off and let it be.
So what are some ideas here?
Let's,
Let's have a look here.
What are some things that I wrote down?
Some,
Some things that we could,
We could look at.
Maybe we could even think of these things as habits that we've developed.
Ooh.
Yeah.
So what are some habits that we might be doing?
How about overthinking and mental clutter?
Yeah.
So constant analysis or replaying the past that blocks our intuitive guidance and inner peace.
Right.
So releasing overthinking.
Anybody here guilty of over analyzing,
Overthinking something,
Not being able to make a decision,
A choice.
So maybe that's something that we might be habitual with.
The overthinking and the mental clutter,
Just creating a bunch of stuff.
There's too much going on in here,
In the head and getting that cleaned out.
Right.
So maybe there's some things there to release.
How about perfectionism?
The need to get it right often masks fear and prevents creative expression.
Letting go of perfectionism invites grace and authenticity.
You know,
I remember taking this training course years ago.
I think it was Lisa Sasevich was,
I went down to San Diego and took this training course.
And one of the things that she said,
Which I loved was build the plane while you fly it.
You know,
This was about expanding your business or,
You know,
Launching your own program or your own business or whatever that looks like.
This idea of building the plane while you fly it,
You don't have it all worked out.
You're going to,
You know,
Put it out there.
I watched recently on,
I recently watched the Steve Jobs,
One of the Steve Jobs movies and say whatever we want about his personality,
The type of person he was.
I didn't know him,
But one of the things that I took away from this movie was,
And it,
And it centered on launches,
The launching new ideas through the different businesses that he had.
So while he was with Apple,
Then when he left Apple,
And then when he came back to Apple,
Definitely nothing was ready.
When they did the release for these things,
They were,
I mean,
They were working on these things till the last second.
It wasn't a matter of we're going to wait till it's perfect.
We're going to wait till we have everything figured out.
You know,
Imagine if we thought of technology in that way.
So if they had never released the iPhone until they were ready to release iPhone 20 or 21 or 20,
Cause they just kept on,
Well,
No,
It could be better.
It could be better.
It could be better.
And so then nothing ever gets done.
Nothing ever has,
Um,
You know,
A platform of like,
We're here now,
Now we can build on this.
And so this is what we've got now.
And now we're going to move forward.
So,
Yeah,
That's,
That's what that looks like.
You know,
And I just think of this in,
If I were to just push this,
Put this into my own life.
I remember when,
You know,
Martha Creek coached me to,
You know,
Ministers of verb,
Get out there and minister.
She said,
Don't wait till they give you the certificate,
Just go be.
And then this opportunity on insight timer to do lives came up in December of 2019.
And I thought,
Sure,
I'll,
I'll do it.
I don't know what I'm doing,
But I'll just do it.
I'm literally building this plane while I fly it.
I have no idea what I'm doing.
I don't know where I'm going with this.
Uh,
It's just,
Let's go,
You know,
Let's go and learn and process as you go along.
And be willing to,
To make mistakes and be willing to let go of things and be willing to,
To,
Uh,
To change things up,
Be willing to know that you have everything you need in the moment.
And,
You know,
As I say that,
I think,
And maybe,
Maybe I'm carrying around a bunch of stuff.
I don't even need in the moment,
You know,
Bringing this back to this idea of letting go and releasing surrendering.
Maybe there's stuff that I actually have right now that I could even let go of more further.
Or how about this one?
Okay.
Here's something,
Here's a habit that you may have developed self-criticism and comparison,
Self-criticism and comparison.
Anybody?
It's like,
I think I wrote all of these down for me.
It's like,
Hey,
Wait,
I'm I,
Oh yeah,
I do that too.
Wow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Measuring ourselves against others keeps us trapped in lack consciousness.
Ooh.
Measuring ourselves against others keeps us trapped in lack.
Think about that.
It's actually saying we're not enough.
That somehow I need to be somebody else.
Self-criticism and comparison,
Measuring ourselves against others keeps us trapped in lack,
Release comparison and affirm.
I am enough.
I am unfolding perfectly,
Right?
We are whole and complete.
We are whole and complete.
There's nothing we need to fix,
You know,
Cause even in this conversation of release,
Even in this idea of letting go and making space,
It's,
It's not like you have to do it.
I'm not,
I'm not sitting here saying you have to do these things.
There's nothing you have to do.
Certainly not for me,
You know,
That's not mine.
It's really,
These conversations are about if your life isn't working,
If it's not working well and,
And you would like it to be different.
So that's really what the question is,
Is,
Ah,
I would like a different experience than what I'm having.
Then,
Then that's what these conversations are for is to,
You know,
Find ways as paths,
Right?
To the same thing,
Which is to live the best life,
Lovingly present as possible.
I mean,
That's never,
I don't know if I've ever put it in those words before,
But really that's,
That's it.
Like I want to live the best life as lovingly present as possible.
That's it.
Like,
That seems to me to be like a good thing to do with my time,
The healing,
The healing process,
The dealing with others,
Siblings,
Family,
Longtime friends,
All of those things come up in this world of release and surrender and forgiveness.
Next one up control and attachment to outcomes,
The urge to manage every detail.
So think of it this way,
The urge to manage every detail closes the door to divine order.
It's somehow saying I'm way smarter than the universe.
You know,
We've talked about this.
We've talked about this in the past of pushing at something so hard and it's not going your way.
And we keep pushing at it and pushing at it when maybe what's required is to let go.
And,
And we can think of it in terms also of,
Um,
You know,
I remember early in my unity days,
Hearing an affirmation that ended with this or something greater,
This or something greater and leaving that door open to the idea that I don't even know how good this could be.
You know,
Even just flashing back a couple of minutes ago where I said,
I don't know what I'm doing and I don't know where I'm going.
It's kind of true.
I've in some ways intentionally lived this as if I have no idea.
I didn't expect to be doing this in the first place.
So what the heck do I know?
This wasn't the plan.
So being here now is just being here now.
How can I allow it?
You know,
There's a song we sing at unity,
Get out of the way,
Get out of the way and let God do its thing.
So yeah,
Get out of the way,
Letting go of control and attaching to the outcome.
How would that look in your life if that's something you struggle with?
How about the,
Uh,
Letting go of the,
Oh,
I'm so busy.
Woo.
I'm so busy right now.
I'm way too busy.
I'd love to,
But I'm so busy.
Do you have any idea how busy I am right now?
Oh my gosh.
My life is so busy.
Like somehow this is a badge of our worth.
I'm not knocking anybody down,
But just think about it.
Like,
Like,
Are,
Are,
Am I filling every moment with doing right?
This idea that I need to be busy and I'm so busy.
So filling every moment with doing can numb us to being.
It's about being filling every moment with doing can numb us to being.
And I like that too,
The becoming,
You know,
And,
And that's great.
That actually reminds me of the build the plane while you fly.
Is really the idea of becoming,
How about this one?
And,
You know,
Please raise your hand in the chat.
If you'd like to be part of this group,
The negative self-talk group,
Anybody,
The negative self-talk group.
Yep.
Inner dialogue rooted in doubt or fear about ourselves limits our creative potential.
Thank you people.
Thank you for coming clean.
Yep.
Release these unkind thoughts and replace them with life affirming truth.
Here's one of the great tools or gifts that I've received from unity.
And here's the thing,
Like,
Let me just back up a bit.
I'm not trying to sell unity.
You could,
You could learn these things a lot of different places.
It's not like,
Uh,
Like unity teachings have,
You know,
Have their own,
Have,
Uh,
Have a,
Uh,
Have a ownership over these ideas.
These ideas are found in many different places.
It's really just how they're packaged that resonates with you that it suddenly lands,
Right?
It suddenly lands.
One of the things that I've,
You know,
I learned in this last bit of time here,
Becoming a minister is releasing unkind thoughts and replacing them with life affirming truth.
So this idea of affirmations,
The letting go denials,
Right?
The letting go things that don't serve and affirming a new truth and what you're doing.
So what we're doing in these practices of prayer and meditation and,
And the letting go of things.
So the,
The self-analysis that like,
What's not working in my life.
We're doing a couple of things here.
One is we're,
We're cleaning house,
Right?
We're cleaning out the ways of being that we might be trapped in that aren't serving our highest good.
And we're creating space for something new.
We're actually also working on the subconscious mind.
We're retraining the subconscious mind to not go to certain places like it always did before.
So for example,
It might be something as simple as,
You know,
When you see a certain group of people,
You feel a certain way about yourself.
You feel less than whole.
You feel less than those people.
You start to do some negative self-talk or think lower of yourself in the presence.
I mean,
It could be that it could be somebody says something to you.
You could be a family member,
Whatever it is.
There's,
There's,
There's a way of development that has happened in that situation or relationship or when you see something and what there is to do is to recognize it,
To name it,
And then to deny that that has any power or control over me,
Over you,
Right?
To,
To say that to ourselves,
You know,
To recognize it.
It's like,
It's instead of putting,
Trying to put roses over top of a mud garden,
We're actually dealing with the mud.
You know,
These thoughts and feelings of being less than worthy no longer serve me.
I am whole,
Abundant,
And a light of truth and love in this world.
And so we're retraining our inner thoughts to release those things that don't work and bring in the new way of being,
The new way of seeing.
And as we do that,
See,
Here's the thing is as we do this work,
As we unfold these new thoughts,
These new feelings,
These new ways of seeing,
They become the new habit.
They become the new footprint for you in those situations.
So instead of the old thoughts coming up,
These new thoughts,
You carry yourself differently.
You walk into a space differently.
You love yourself at a whole new level.
And it's incremental shifts over time.
It's releasing those unkind ways.
And,
You know,
I love what,
What I,
What's down here on my,
On my notes is release unkind thoughts and replace them with life affirming truth,
Life affirming truth.
Like life is,
It is,
That's it.
It is for me.
It's like,
Wow,
I get to live this life.
You know,
Over the last,
Gosh,
We're coming up to six years in December of being here on insight timer together.
And the,
This is the stuff we've been working on and sometimes go,
Man,
Am I getting anywhere with this?
I'm not talking about you.
I'm talking about my own life.
Am I actually,
Am I,
Is it my getting anywhere with this?
This is,
Is this really?
I'm kidding.
I'm loving what I get to do with my life.
And there's moments of negative self-talk.
So not to just step over that.
There's moments of negative self-talk.
There's no moments of doubt.
There's moments of what's this all for?
Why bother?
Doesn't seem to matter how wonderful it gets,
How quickly I develop myself to be able to rewrite the narrative or to rethink things or reshape things.
It still shows up.
And so the work is still being done.
That the unfolding is still happening.
The questioning of self is still going on,
But now there's like a different rhythm underneath.
There's love at a deeper,
Deeper level than ever before.
And that becomes the,
The rock in which to build the house on,
You know,
This house isn't built on sand anymore.
All right.
Next one.
Procrastination and avoidance.
Ooh.
Delaying what matters most drains our spiritual energy.
Procrastination and avoidance.
So here's where,
Here's where I have that.
The greatest demonstration of procrastination and avoidance in my life has been learning to read music.
I've tried on several occasions to start something and have not followed through with it.
And then,
Um,
And so this isn't like a beat up myself or pity party or anything.
It's just a noticing.
It's like,
This is just,
This is just the way I guess it's not that important to me.
Uh,
However,
I have these moments where I sit and I think,
You know,
Uh,
Man,
You know,
I remember like 10 or 11 years ago,
I actually sat down in front of the piano that we had in our house.
And I started to learn to play piano and to,
You know,
Do the fingering exercises.
And then I would write some makeup,
Some noises as I call them,
Because you know,
The great thing about the piano is it is,
It is a percussion instrument.
It's not a string instrument.
It's a percussion instrument.
And I've always maintained that if you can hit it,
I can play it anyhow.
So then I would do these little fingering exercises,
And then I would go off into my little world and write these little things that I would create.
And that was fun for a while.
And then I stopped.
And so I often think like,
Imagine if I had kept going,
I'd have like 11 or 12 years now of learning to read music behind me.
It's interesting to me how I can sit there and notice things.
If only thank you,
Rebecca.
Yeah,
Richard.
Exactly.
If only,
If only I had,
If only I had.
And so it's good to notice that like,
Okay,
Was that avoidance?
Was that procrastination?
Was that laziness?
Was that maybe it's just not important to me.
And when I have that thought,
I can actually just let that go.
I don't need to,
You know,
I don't need to hang on that thought,
Beat myself up over it,
Make myself feel less than something.
So that too is a part of the process of releasing and letting go.
And it's okay to hang out there.
It really is.
And then we need to step,
Step forward,
Right?
Anybody here a people pleaser?
Anybody wanting to own,
Own that one?
Pick me.
That's funny.
People pleaser in the house.
Pick me,
Pick me.
This is great.
Yeah.
Ah,
I'm okay with somebody not liking me.
People pleasing,
Seeking approval or authenticity creates inner conflict.
Releasing this habit aligns our actions with higher goals.
Yeah.
Being able to say no,
Being able to not do something to please others,
Just,
Just to please others.
And again,
You know,
None of this stuff is like,
We're bad.
You're bad.
I'm bad.
Nah,
It's just,
It's what looking like a human being looks like.
This is,
This is it.
These,
These,
There's these and more,
Right?
And,
And so this is a little exercise into looking at these things and asking these questions.
Okay.
We've got a couple more.
All right.
How about this one?
Grudges and resentment.
You know,
When I think of that one,
Carrying old hurts,
Occupies sacred space in our consciousness.
Forgiveness is the ultimate release that frees both the giver and the receiver.
Grudges and resentment.
You know,
When I say that,
And when I think about it,
That out of all of these so far to me,
That one feels the heaviest.
That one feels as if it's the heaviest.
Carrying old hurts occupies sacred space in consciousness.
And that's where I say that this idea of release,
Surrender,
And forgiveness all seem to be this triad,
This triangle of potentiality in our lives through the practice of surrender,
Through the practice of forgiveness,
Through the practice of letting go.
They all serve one another.
To truly let something go in a lot of cases,
There's forgiveness that needs to be done and there's surrender to what is that needs to be done.
And so to get good at forgiveness,
I think requires some work on forgiving ourselves.
As somebody mentioned earlier,
As one of the hardest things to do.
When we can forgive ourselves,
Just like when we love ourselves,
Then that can actually become something we can do easier in the rest of our life.
So forgiving,
The practice of forgiveness is a superpower.
Because it allows us to surrender and it allows us to let go.
It allows us to release things.
When we let go,
We let the universe fill us.
We let spirit move in.
We let creator,
We let life in.
So just remember when you're carrying around a grudge,
You're the one carrying it.
And when I think of that,
I think of,
You know,
Having that neck,
That yoke around my neck with water,
Two big buckets of water on each side.
And I'm carrying that around and it's weighing me down and it's holding me back and it's making each step harder.
And that's what that looks like for me.
Grudges,
Not being able to forgive others.
It just looks like water torture,
Carrying weight.
Imagine it's like bringing the backpack in,
The backpack full of all my stuff,
All my stories,
All my hurts,
All my pains,
All my sufferings,
All my relationships,
Everything.
I've got this backpack full of stuff and I move to a new place,
New relationship or a new job or a new city or a whatever.
And the first thing I do when I show up is I stop and I take off my backpack and I put it down in front of me.
And now I've shown up and all of my stuff is with me and I'm going to stick it in everybody's face.
That's what that looks like to me,
Carrying around these things,
Not being able to let them go.
So next,
Scarcity thinking,
Believing there's not enough fill in the blank.
They don't love me enough.
They don't have enough time for me.
There's not enough opportunities in the world.
There's no abundance.
Scarcity thinking.
Where is scarcity thinking showing up?
In what conversation?
And it doesn't have to.
.
.
See,
Here's the thing is that some of these things aren't in every aspect of our lives,
But there might be in one.
It might be in one area of our life that we think scarcely.
You know,
That I don't have enough of fill in the blank.
There's not enough fill in the blank.
If only there was more fill in the blank.
So where,
Where is that showing up in your life?
That's just 10.
That's just 10 ideas of areas that we could be living in this space of wanting to let go of something,
Wanting to release,
Wanting to move on,
Surrender to,
Forgive,
All of those things.
It's an invitation to say,
I release anything and everything that no longer serves my unfolding good.
I release anything and everything that no longer serves my unfolding good.
And when we do,
We create space for divine spirit,
Creator,
Universe,
Ideas,
Life,
Love,
Flow,
Whatever in.
There's space for new ideas.
There's space for a deeper presence.
There's space for a greater relationship.
There's space for more love.
There's space for being.
So I release anything and everything that no longer serves my unfolding good.
And in that,
Before we step into some meditation,
Closing thought on this is to receive,
We must first release.
To receive,
We must first release.
And so with that in mind,
I invite you to take a few moments together here in this space.
Share in some meditation time.
Take some slow,
Gentle breaths here with me.
Some slow,
Gentle breaths in,
Letting go,
Feeling the breath,
Feeling the presence.
So inhale life,
Exhale,
Release.
Allowing this breath,
This inhale of life to move easily through you and then to exhale release.
Yeah.
I'm letting go.
I release anything and everything that no longer serves my unfolding good.
There's nothing you need to do right now.
You don't need to make anything happen here.
Just breathe,
Just breathe and breathe and breathe.
Breathing in life,
Exhaling release.
And if you're comfortable,
You can close your eyes if you haven't already.
And I invite you to bring your attention,
Bring your thoughts,
Your imagination into your lower abdomen,
The sacred center of the power of release.
Yeah.
The color of release is the russet brown.
And so imagine that there's this glow of light,
This warmth,
This soothing light becoming.
It's beginning to glow.
It's earthy.
It's grounded.
It's steady.
It's intelligent.
It knows what to do.
Moves through you as divine intelligence,
Cleansing and renewing your body,
Your mind,
This light,
This beautiful russet colored light that feels so connected to mother earth.
Can think of it as grounding and it's glowing inside,
Moving through with intelligence,
Cleansing and renewing your body,
Your mind,
Your soul.
With every exhale,
More is let go of.
Notice if there's any tension in your body,
You can let that go with your breath.
Notice if there's any thoughts right now that are percolating,
You can let that go with your breath.
Maybe there's some notions of I should or could or someday breathe in and exhale that out.
Let that go with your breath.
This healing intelligent light moving through you,
Cleansing you,
Letting go of anything and everything that no longer serves your unfolding good.
Now feel the rhythm of your breathing.
Bring your attention to the inhale and the exhale,
The rhythm.
The sacred exchange of life,
The breathing in,
The breathing out.
With each breath in,
You receive life.
With each breath out,
You make space for more of that life.
Feel the rise and fall of your abdomen.
Place your hand on your abdomen and breathe in through your nose into that space.
Now breathe in real deep,
Nice and deep and hold it,
Hold it,
Hold it.
Now as you let go,
Feel the power of that exhale,
How good it feels to release.
You don't have to think your way into release.
You can just allow.
And now,
In this moment,
Again affirm,
I release anything and everything that no longer serves my unfolding good.
I am open,
I am free,
I am renewed.
And now,
In this moment,
Whatever comes to your mind with this question,
One thing,
One thing that is inviting you to let go of,
One thing pops into your mind right now that you can release.
One thing.
Don't analyze it,
Just notice it.
And breathe in.
With your next exhale,
Let it go.
Imagine it softening,
Dissolving.
Imagine it returning to light.
Just letting it go.
It's okay.
It doesn't have to feel weighted.
We don't have to feel bad.
We don't have to punish ourselves for it.
We can just let it go.
Thank you.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you.
No longer serves.
It's okay.
It's really okay.
It's just returning to light.
And that space that's left behind is holy space.
It's open,
It's clear,
It's ready to receive divine ideas.
So let's take a moment here to feel gratitude.
Place that hand back on your belly,
Your abdomen,
Feeling the breath.
Hand on your heart space.
Just breathing,
Feeling that breath in and out,
Your hands together rising and falling.
Feeling this gratitude for knowing that we can let go.
Gratitude for release.
Gratitude for softening.
Gratitude for forgiveness.
Gratitude for surrender.
Gratitude for one another for being here.
You can let your hands down now.
Bring a gentle smile to your face.
Thank you everybody for being here.
As you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
When your eyes are open,
Just take a nice deep breath in.
Yeah,
Let that go.
Ah,
Feel the lightness of that.
Ah,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Thank you so much for,
Thank you so much for this space to heal,
To love,
To appreciate,
To surrender,
To forgive,
To be in community.
Thank you for your presence,
Your gift,
Your intelligence,
Your spiritualness.
Thank you for your loving,
Expanding openness.
Thank you for your heart,
Your truth,
Your wisdom.
It's not lost on me,
Your greatness.
I so feel it.
I'm in awe of your greatness.
Namaste.
