This is a journey through 20 days of meditating to help you unlock your souls desires while moving through limiting beliefs and cultivating a regulated nervous system. Each day we will get a better understanding of what we desire, authentically and what is holding us back from getting this in the year ahead. Set up your space and let's begin!

Hello and welcome back to day two of the 20 day meditation challenge.

Yesterday we focused on cultivating and creating a safe space that we can retreat to whenever we're feeling overwhelmed,

Overstimulated,

Dysregulated,

And just needing a moment to settle and calm.

And today we're going to continue with this practice of calming,

Regulating,

And grounding.

So if you haven't already done so,

Go ahead and set up your space,

Closing the door,

Running the diffuser,

Finding a comfortable resting position,

And once you settle in,

Keep your eyes open and just start to take in your surroundings,

Noticing the room that you are in,

Taking a look to the left,

To the right,

Looking above you,

Below you,

Behind you if you have the space,

Just familiarizing yourself with your surroundings.

And then when you're ready,

Closing down your physical eyes,

Beginning to bring the awareness to the breath,

Allowing for a complete exhale,

And we'll breathe in to the count of one,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Hold,

Keep holding,

And exhale through the mouth.

Again,

Breathing in,

One,

Two,

Keep holding,

Sip a little bit more,

And exhale,

Sighing it out.

We'll do this two more times,

Breathing in for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Hold,

Audible sigh,

Let it go,

And again,

Breathing in for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Hold,

And audible sigh,

Letting go.

Now beginning to rotate your wrists,

Perhaps rocking the hips a little side to side,

Maybe the feet start to sway,

Or you let the head roll from one side to the other,

Just taking in some gentle movements that the body is desiring,

Not overthinking it,

Just letting yourself move,

Maybe the arms reach out and start to shake,

Maybe the legs begin to kick a little,

Just letting yourself move and release intuitively here,

And then starting to slow down the movement,

The shakes become to little rolls,

And the rocking slowly starts to settle,

The space you created that was just your own,

Find your chair and take a seat,

Curl up and find complete comfort in that chair that was made just for you,

Take in your surroundings,

Feel a sense of peace and comfort wash over you,

And then bring in front of you a comforting figure,

Perhaps this is your higher self,

Maybe a loved one that has passed or is still here with you in the present,

Perhaps this is one of your spirit guides,

Infinite source,

The universe,

Or god,

Goddess,

And just bring in front of you this comforting figure who feels safe,

That you can be completely yourself around,

And if nothing comes to mind,

That's ok,

You can just sense,

Pretend or imagine that person there,

Maybe even an animal,

And just share with this being how you are feeling,

Expressing to them any concerns,

Any hurt,

Any pain,

Any joyful moments,

Moments of love,

Just sharing how you're feeling to this comforting person,

Being,

Animal or entity,

And they stand before you acknowledging everything you are saying,

Listening intently,

You finish sharing,

And they come up to you,

And they embrace you,

And remind you that you are absolutely perfect and whole as you are,

They are grateful to hear your stories,

To hear how you're feeling,

And they want you to know that you are loved,

They speak to you,

I love you,

I hear you,

And I am always here for you,

You can come to me anytime you need to share how you are feeling,

If you feel as though nobody is listening,

I am here for you,

Always.

You take this in and let it wash over you,

A sense of empowerment of being heard,

Being seen,

You thank them for listening,

You take a moment to absorb their presence,

Feeling their unconditional love,

You reach over to the stand beside your chair,

You grab your favorite drink,

Bring it in front of you,

You smell the aromas,

Feel the temperature of the drink in your hands,

You take a sip,

And taste its flavors,

And when you put the cup down,

The comfortable being is gone,

You feel a sense of wholeness,

Of love,

Compassion,

You look around your safe space that is just your own,

Knowing you will return here whenever you need,

And ask for your comforting figure to appear whenever you need them,

And they will be there,

And with this deep trust and knowing,

You can come up,

And open your eyes when you're ready.
