So we have 300 seconds.

I'm going to take this time to connect to the present moment.

So I want you to bring your awareness to the points of contact that you're making with the earth.

Sense of pressure,

Being held,

Elongating your spine,

Releasing any tension or tightening that may have arrived in the face,

The jaw,

The shoulders.

Nothing within the body acts independently of itself.

So if you're clenching your jaw,

You're clenching your pelvis.

This tightening tells the body that things aren't quite right.

It needs to do something.

It needs to take care of you.

Can you let any tightness or tension go?

Just release it.

You don't need to do anything else.

And then narrowing your awareness to your breath,

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Noticing the textures and colours and shapes and movements of your body as you breathe in and you breathe out,

That your body knows exactly what to do.

You can allow the breath to breathe itself.

Just checking with your posture again.

I want you to just widen the lens of your attention to notice how you are.

Are you feeling rushed?

Frustrated?

Bored?

Are there any deadlines looming over you?

What's ahead of you today?

What does that feel like in your body?

So stepping out of the mental experience and into the physical and physiological experience.

What is struggle?

Tension?

Anxiety?

Frustration?

Excitement?

Happiness?

What is it?

Where is it?

What is the feeling?

Being curious and interested as we learn the story from our body's perspective.

Just be that person who feels this feeling.

Releasing any tension,

Tightness,

Just being.

And then when you're ready,

Bringing your awareness back to the breath.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And expanding that awareness from the breath to include all of your body.

And just taking a moment to consider what you need to do next in the moments that follow this practice.

What does your body need of you to best take care of yourself?

One deep in-breath and one deep out-breath.

You might want to sigh.

And as best you can,

Taking this sense of connection and awareness into whatever you have left to do with your day.

Thank you for joining me.
