Hi,

I'm Nikolai Sinclair.

Thank you for joining me for this guided meditation.

Let's start by finding a comfortable and quiet place where you won't be disturbed.

Please turn off your cell phones or any distractions for our time together today.

Find a seat and a tall spine.

You can support your spine by using a wall or a chair.

Now close your eyes if that is comfortable for you or simply lower your gaze.

Place your hands at your heart center.

Allow the thumbs to connect with your heart and simply notice that connection.

Just notice how it feels without judgment,

Without overthinking,

Without injecting thought.

Simply notice.

We will begin our meditation with a single Aum.

Aum is the universal sound of consciousness.

If this resonates with you,

Simply join me.

If not,

Simply receive.

We will begin with a deep inhale and on the exhale we will recite Aum.

Take a deep inhale.

Aum.

Now allowing yourself to settle into this present moment.

Simply begin to notice your breath without altering it.

Simply notice it.

Notice the inhale and exhale.

Now begin to deepen your breath and liften your breath.

Place the tip of your tongue where your two front teeth and the roof of your mouth meet to help relax the back of the tongue and allow the breath to flow.

To flow freely.

Now bring your awareness to your body.

Increase your body awareness.

Your body consciousness with each breath.

Starting with your feet.

Begin to breathe deeply.

Making ocean-like sounds.

Breathe deeply into your feet.

Activate what we call that Ujjayi breathing.

That ocean-like breathing.

And breathe into your feet.

Start to shift your awareness up the body.

Breathing ocean sounds into your leg,

The knees,

The thighs.

Breathe deeply into your entire lower body.

Now continue your journey.

Notice the belly rising and falling with each inhalation and exhalation.

Breathe deeply.

Inhaling and exhaling.

As you bring your awareness to your heart.

Your throat.

Notice the breath flowing through the nostrils,

Nourishing the throat,

The entire body.

Continuing your journey up the body towards the crown of the head.

Rest your awareness on the space between the brow.

The space we call the third eye.

Take another deep inhale and exhale,

Making that ocean-like sound.

Now breathe normal without altering the breath.

Just noticing it.

Keeping your awareness on the space between the brow,

The third eye.

Allow it to remain here for the rest of our time together.

The third eye,

When activated by the heart,

Allows you to see clearly,

Wholly,

And with divine spirit.

Activating this simple space between the brows can help you see divine oneness in all the things and people around you.

Activate your third eye.

Tapping into your heart.

Tapping into your breath.

Invite all the things and people around you into your life.

Into your heart now.

Bring those near and far.

Those that are known and those that are unknown.

Bring them into your heart.

All the children.

All the adults.

All the favored and not so favored.

Bring them into your heart.

Merge with them.

Connect with them.

Merge into their life experiences.

Bring these experiences into yours.

Find a common thread.

Feel the common thread.

The divine spirit in us all.

Step outside of your shoes,

Of your world.

And for a short moment,

Step into theirs.

And breathe.

Feel it.

No,

You don't owe them anything.

No,

They don't owe you anything.

These were the cards that you were both dealt in life.

Fairness is only a theory.

You don't owe them anything.

They don't owe you anything.

No explanations are coming.

No explanations will do.

No complete answers to your questions or justifications to your whys.

Nothing.

Be free from these expectations.

They would only appear as excuses.

Be free.

You owe it to yourself to expand your consciousness.

To expand your heart.

To connect to all that is around you.

Including those from different walks of life.

Different skin suits and outer bodies.

Different appearances.

Appearances is all they truly are.

Be one with them.

Go beyond these appearances.

Be one with them.

Even if it's only for this moment in time.

Be one with them.

Feel the oneness and connection in your heart.

Embody the oneness and connection in your soul.

Heal through this connection.

Restore your body.

Restore your strength through this connection.

Regain your power through this connection.

After me.

After me.

In this connection.

In this oneness experience.

I seek to understand.

I seek to understand.

No,

I don't have all the answers.

No,

I don't even have the solutions.

But I seek to understand.

By understanding,

I deepen my experience in the world.

Understanding helps me do unto others as I would have them do unto me.

Understanding helps me make good decisions for myself and others.

Understanding helps me relate and find commonality in others.

Understanding helps me develop a comfort with the ways of the world.

Understanding helps me take responsibility for the things that I can change.

Understanding helps me develop a comfort with the things I cannot.

Understanding strengthens my own knowledge and expands my worldview.

Understanding brings forth internal transformation.

Transformation.

By internal transformation comes external change.

I seek understanding.

I seek understanding.

I seek understanding.

I seek understanding.

Inviting compassion into my world and releasing compassion to all.

We'll end our meditation with metta.

Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.

Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.

Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.

May all beings be happy and free.

And may my words,

Thoughts,

And actions contribute to the happiness and well-being of others.

Namaste.
