Now imagine an endless ocean.
Light sparkles over the crests of thousands of blue waves.
Seagulls call to each other somewhere off in the distance.
And a fine mist of salt water coats your lips.

And the waves are your thoughts.
Some waves may be more turbulent,
Others gentle.
Accept all the waves as they are and allow each wave to pass.

There is a silent place On the surface of the ocean there may be wind and waves,
But in the deep,
At the heart of the ocean there are all things in your core.
There is no turmoil,
There is only peace and serenity.

So come away for a while from the surface of the outer world,
From the waves and wind in your life,
From all the worries of the world and sink into the serenity of your heart,
To the most pure and peaceful place within yourself.

Free from the intrusion of your worries,
Rest in a deep silence,
A blissful ease,
A quietress of own repose.
As you rest in this peaceful place,
You begin to see things as they really are.
This place within you is your real and eternal self,
Your true nature.
You are very safe here in this peaceful place.
This is where you recover.
This is where you are restored.
If there are any worries or disturbing thoughts going through your mind,
Just recognize them and let them drift away.
Let them float up from your deep peaceful place to the surface of the outer world where they dissolve into the endless sky.
Continue to rest in this peaceful place for a while longer,
Appreciating the stillness,
Enjoying the calm.
You may now begin to ascend back up from the peaceful place of your heart to the surface of the ocean,
To the outer world.
Gently floating up,
Now confident that you are prepared to bear any residual storms or waves that you may face in your life.
The waves,
The challenges of your life are now smaller and the storm has diminished.
You feel calm and restored and you know that if you ever feel worried or stressed,
You can easily return to your silent resting place.
Come back to this place whenever you like.
