Aloha and thank you for being here.
Let's settle in with a few cleansing breaths.
Breathing in through the nose,
Following that breath all the way in until we can't take in any more air,
And then exhaling perhaps out the mouth until we let all of that air out.
Taking one more cleansing breath,
Just settling in,
Breathing in through our nose,
Filling up our lungs with air,
Perhaps our chest even puffs a bit,
And then exhaling,
Letting it all go.
Now let's switch to some coherent breathing to regulate our breath.
We're gonna breathe in for two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
And exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Breathing in and letting it go.
Incredible.
Now let's begin to cultivate an attitude of gratitude.
Let's breathe in,
Thanks,
And breathe out,
Thanks.
Breathing in,
Great gratitude,
And exhaling that great gratitude.
Breathing in,
Loving light,
Exhaling what no longer serves.
Breathing in now,
Exhaling the past and future.
Breathing in grateful love,
Exhaling that grateful love.
Now keeping our focus on that equal breath,
Simply just breathing in oxygen and exhaling space.
As we breathe in,
We're welcoming fresh air,
Fresh gratitude,
And as we exhale and breathe out,
We're detaching from any of our thoughts.
Just for the next few moments together,
Let's focus on that equal inhale and exhale,
Letting our thoughts drift away like great gratitude clouds in the sky.
We're just observing our thoughts without any attachments,
Just observing the clouds,
Being grateful for the views,
For the ability to think,
For the ability to attract this gratitude.
Now shifting the focus to the feeling of gratitude,
Becoming aware of one or perhaps even a few things that we are grateful for.
What is this great gratitude thing?
What does it look like?
What does it sound like?
What does it feel like?
How does it make you feel?
Perhaps even what taste do you recall with this?
What smell reminds you of it?
What do you hear when this comes into your awareness?
Fully feeling that gratitude with all five senses.
Just being with this feeling,
This full embodiment of this great gratitude.
Perhaps even placing a hand on your heart to open up your heart to this feeling,
This idea,
This memory.
Cultivating that feeling of gratitude,
Feeling grateful for this feeling,
For all of the things,
All of the people that we're grateful for.
The more we focus on just one thing we are grateful for,
The more it attunes our eyes and our hearts to this feeling,
This ingrained memory of gratitude.
So it opens up a door for us to bring more great gratitude into our blessed lives.
Creating this rippling effect of attracting,
Becoming aware of great gratitude.
In positive psychology research,
Gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness.
Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions,
Relish these great experiences,
Can improve our state of mind,
It may even improve our health,
Dealing with adversity and building strong relationships in our community.
I am so grateful that you are here with me today.
Let's continue to share great gratitude moments with ourselves and with our beloved community.
Thank you for sharing these moments of great gratitude today.
I hope this helps create greater happiness and health in your life.
You are great and I am so grateful.
