During this powerful mindfulness practice we are observing the thoughts in our mind as just what they are. Our thoughts are powerful, but you are in control of what thoughts you give your attention to and to what thoughts are your truth, not all thoughts are equal.

Welcome to your day three meditation on awareness of thought.

Our minds are programmed for thought,

And our thoughts are very powerful,

But that doesn't necessarily make them all true.

So in this practice of mindfulness,

We are observing our thoughts without focusing too much attention on any particular one.

Explore with a level of curiosity,

Openness,

And non-judgment.

Take a moment to settle into your breath and your body.

Sitting upright,

Gently close your eyes,

Taking a few moments of soft and gentle breaths.

Begin to turn your attention inwards,

Towards the contents of the mind.

Bringing awareness to any thoughts,

Images,

Internal chatter,

Or memories that come up.

We are not judging things in the mind as good or bad.

Just observe as each thought arises and passes.

We are not judging things in the mind as good or bad.

We are not judging things in the mind as good or bad.

Notice how our mind wants to cling on or not cling to any particular thought as it comes up.

Take a few moments to just witness the thoughts as they come and go.

Think of each thought as a bubble,

And as another thought comes into consciousness,

The bubble floats away.

Jane Emm bang sings Watch the cycle of thoughts.

Is there a theme?

Are the thoughts connected?

Notice the silence in between your thoughts.

Pay attention to this.

But not clinging to.

Just witness.

Or are This moment of mindfulness is strengthening your ability for concentration.

It is the job of the mind to generate thought.

However you decide how much or to what thoughts get your attention.

Are the thoughts in your mind for your highest good?

Or are they the thoughts that keep you hostage to your mind?

As you let go of focusing your attention on all thoughts,

Bring awareness back to your breath and to your body.

Gently opening your eyes,

Return back to the space you're in.

As you go through your day,

Bring a compassion and awareness to your thoughts.

Knowing that your thoughts are not always true.

You decide what gets your attention.

And until next time,

Love and light.

Thinking of my thoughts as bubbles that float away really helped me clear my mind and only focus on what I wanted too. Very beneficial, thank you
