Welcome to this meditation designed to prepare you for a deep,

Restful sleep.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs with fresh air,

And exhale slowly,

Releasing any tension.

Feel the support beneath you,

Whether it's a chair or a bed.

Allow yourself to sink into the surface,

Letting go of any discomfort.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each breath,

And begin to deepen your inhalations and exhalations.

Begin to visualize a soft,

Golden light surrounding you.

This light represents tranquility and calmness.

As you inhale,

Imagine breathing in this warm light,

Allowing it to fill every cell in your body.

As you exhale,

Release any lingering stress or worries.

Picture them leaving your body with each breath,

Dissolving into the peaceful atmosphere around you.

Now bring your attention to your toes.

Imagine a wave of relaxation,

Starting from your toes,

Slowly moving up through your feet,

Ankles,

And calves.

Feel any lingering tension melting away.

Continue this wave of relaxation through your knees,

Your thighs,

And your hips,

Allowing your lower body to become completely at ease.

Now focus on your fingers.

Let the calming sensation move through your hands,

Wrists,

And forearms.

Sense the tension melting away as the wave of relaxation travels up to your shoulders.

Feel the weight of the day lift off your shoulders as they become light and free.

Finally,

Let your head sink just a little bit more into the pillow beneath you.

Begin to shift your attention back to your breath.

Notice the gentle rhythm of your breathing,

Inhaling deeply through your nose,

Allowing your lungs to fill completely,

And exhaling slowly through your mouth.

Feel the breath as it moves in and out,

Like the soothing waves of the ocean.

Now start to imagine yourself in a serene and safe place.

Perhaps it is a beautiful beach,

A quiet forest,

Or a cozy room.

Picture all the details,

The colors,

The sounds,

And the sensations.

Feel the tranquility of the space enveloping you,

Providing a sense of security and peace.

As we conclude,

Bring your awareness back to your breath.

Inhale deeply,

And as you exhale,

Release any remaining tension.

Feel the sense of serenity and tranquility within you.

Take one more deep breath,

And as you exhale,

Surrender to the calmness.

Allow yourself to drift into a restful and rejuvenating sleep.

As you go to sleep,

Carry the sense of peace with you.

May your dreams be sweet,

And may you awaken tomorrow feeling refreshed and ready for a new day.
