So thank you everyone for being here.

I invite you all to get into the most comfortable position that calls to you right now.

So whether it's sitting on the floor on a chair with your feet planted on the ground or just lying down,

Lying completely down on your bed,

On a floor,

On a yoga mat,

Allow yourself a moment to take care of your own needs and what feels comfortable for you.

Centering,

It's a practice that brings us back to what many of you called safety,

Kind of a balance,

A homeostasis,

And thus calm.

It helps realign our body,

Mind,

Our heart,

And our energy.

So if you haven't done so already,

I invite you to close your eyes or just have a soft,

Gentle gaze with your attention on the tip of your nose if you need a focal point.

Okay,

Now I invite you to breathe natural,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs,

Holding a little bit before releasing,

Letting go of any tension.

Once again,

Breathing in through your nose,

Filling your lungs,

And releasing,

Letting go of all tension.

Tension.

Doing so for a few more breaths on your own in your pace.

Good.

And as you breathe,

Let us slowly bring our attention back inwards to our body.

First,

Feeling the sensation of your body connected to the ground,

To the surface below you.

Feel your body dropping into the surface,

Feeling that support,

Allowing yourself full permission to sink deeper and deeper into the surface below you,

Letting go of any tension or tightness that you may be holding consciously or unconsciously.

And as you breathe,

Let your body sink in,

Bringing your attention to your feet.

Feel that connection.

Your feet,

Your lower half of the body and the floor below you.

Imagine now roots like a tree extending from your body,

From your feet,

All the way down into the surface below you.

From your feet all the way down into the surface,

Into the ground,

Into Mother Earth,

Layers after layers,

Grounding you to the earth.

Take it easy.

Visualize what you can.

Knowing there is no wrong way to show up,

To experience.

And with each breath,

You feel yourself connecting more and more to the ground.

The roots extending all the way down to the center of the earth,

You and the core of the earth.

Connected.

Notice that shift,

That experience,

Connection of groundedness.

And from here,

Let us invite the earth's energy to flow from the roots all the way up into your feet,

Into your legs,

Your hips,

Your lower back.

Feel the strength in your legs,

The stability in your hips,

Nourishing support in your lower back.

And the same time as you are breathing,

Imagine you're letting go of the tension or stress in these areas,

Out through the roots,

Letting it go,

Recycling,

The earth energy in tension,

Stress,

Pain,

Physical,

Emotional,

Mental,

Let it go.

Allow the energy to move upwards,

Into your core,

Up your spine,

To your chest.

With each breath in,

Imagining you are in the center of the earth,

Your core,

Up your spine,

To your chest.

With each breath in,

Imagining you are inhaling fresh,

New,

Grounding energy that's filling up your lungs,

Your chest,

With freshness,

With vitality.

And each exhale,

You're releasing any stagnant,

Stuck energy,

Letting it all go with your breath down the roots,

Down the roots.

Feeling your heart opening and softening,

Spaces being created with gentleness and compassion.

Continuing to allow the earth energy to flow upwards,

Into your shoulders,

Into your arms,

Into your hands and fingers.

And as it reaches these spots,

Let go of any burdens that you may be carrying,

Let go of that grip,

And just allow the energy to flow,

Flow freely through those spaces,

Releasing any tightness,

In these areas.

You can even imagine your hands letting go,

Gently opening,

Releasing what you no longer need to hold on to.

Now,

Moving up,

Breathing,

Flowing,

Allowing that earth energy to come through your neck,

Your throat,

To your jaws.

Let go of that tension,

That tightness in your jawbone.

Inviting in openness and ease,

Softening your face,

The spaces around your eyes,

Your forehead.

You can even imagine a gentle,

Warm light surrounding your head,

Your face,

Bringing in clarity,

Peace to your mind.

And just breathe here,

Let the energy flow from the top of your head,

Down your feet,

Into the earth,

And back up again.

Into the earth and back up again.

Just let it flow,

Move,

Revitalizing you while releasing all that you no longer need to carry.

And as you sit here in this state of peace,

Quiet,

Take a moment to connect deeper with your inner self,

The you that has always been there.

The you that has always been there.

Together,

I invite you to reflect once again on the joys,

The ease,

The peace of the summer days,

Acknowledging your experience,

Your experiences,

The ones that brought you happiness,

Restoration,

And maybe even those that surprised you,

Helped you grow.

Allow these memories to just naturally come through,

Filling you up with gratitude and warmth as you imagine and remember them.

Now gently shift your focus,

Bring your focus towards the transition,

This transitional season back to perhaps a busier,

Faster rhythm.

And as you do,

Be gentle.

Imagine a soft,

Gentle light forming in the center of your chest and your heart.

This light is your inner guidance,

Your intuition.

And just allow the light to be,

To show however it likes.

Perhaps even noticing the color,

The movements,

The size,

Just take a moment to connect with your inner guide,

Feeling it expand,

Growing,

Flowing,

Aligning your heart,

Your body,

Your mind,

Your soul,

Your energy.

I'm here to remind you that you can carry the essence of the summer ease and joy with you.

Of the summer ease and joy with you,

Even as you move into routine,

Structure,

Responsibilities,

The to-dos.

Bring this light with you,

Allow it to ground you into the present moment.

With your true self,

Taking that time to breathe and feel into that sense of alignment and balance.

Each breath offering more groundedness,

More sentiment.

And before we close,

I invite you to set an intention for yourself.

It could be something simple like,

I intend to move through this transition with ease,

With ease,

With centeredness,

Or I intend to stay grounded and centered in my daily life.

Take a few breaths to silently set your intention.

And when you're ready,

I invite you to slowly,

Gently bring your awareness back to your room,

To your body.

Taking a gulp,

Moving your fingers and your toes,

Your wrists and your arms and your legs,

Stretching,

Moving in ways that feels right.

And just taking all the time you need to return to the present moment.

Thank you for joining me in this centered,

Focused meditation.

And as you move forward into your days,

Into the fall,

Know that you can always return to this space of centeredness,

Alignment within you.
