Hi,

This is Jessica from The Lotus Pond.

Welcome to your moment of intentional pause.

Today,

We're gonna engage in a brief,

Yet impactful practice centered on gratitude and kindness.

In just five minutes,

We'll nurture peace,

Joy,

And a deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us.

So let's pause together,

Reflect,

And nourish your inner being.

First,

Let's find a comfortable position,

Sitting,

Standing,

Or lying down.

And if it feels right,

Close your eyes or rest your gaze softly.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension.

Feel your body begin to settle with each breath,

Releasing any heaviness.

Notice the rhythm of your breathing.

And with each inhale and exhale,

Allow yourself to be more present and grounded in this moment.

As you continue breathing,

I invite you to bring to mind one thing you're grateful for today.

It might be a cherished person,

A place that brings you peace,

Or a small but meaningful moment of joy.

Picture it vividly.

Notice its colors,

Sounds,

Textures,

Or even scents.

Let yourself fully immerse in the memory or feeling.

As you do,

Feel the warmth of gratitude feel the warmth of gratitude fill your heart,

Softening your muscles and easing your mind.

Allow the sensation to expand throughout your body.

Let it touch every cell,

Reminding you of the beauty and support present.

In your life.

Now let's invite kindness into this space within you.

Silently repeat these phrases or simply absorb the words as they resonate.

May I be at peace.

May I be well.

May I be kind to myself and others.

As you reflect on these words,

Feel kindness gently envelop you,

Surrounding your heart,

Your mind,

And your body.

Imagine this energy of kindness flowing outward,

Reaching your loved ones,

Your community,

And eventually spreading to the whole world.

Feel the ripples of this energy of kindness and know that each moment of compassion you bring to yourself has a power to extend beyond you.

So let's take a final deep breath in,

Slowly release it.

Notice any shifts in your energy or mood.
