Reboot for serenity,

Performance and creativity by the happiness society.

Sitting comfortably in your chair,

Legs uncrossed,

Maybe resting your hands on your lap or placing them on your lower abdomen.

Start with bringing your awareness to your breath,

Lips closed,

Breathe deeply in and out through your nose.

Breathing in and breathing out.

With each out-breath,

Allowing your body to release and relax a little bit more.

Letting the oxygen nourish your body,

Filling the air caressing the inside of your body,

Like an internal massage.

All the way from your nostrils to your throat,

Belly and back out again.

Feeling your belly rise on the in-breath and fall on the out-breath.

Staying with your breath for a moment and if thoughts arise,

That's fine.

That's what the brain does.

Just acknowledge these thoughts and let them go and bring the focus of your awareness back to your breath.

And now creating the space and resources in your brain for calm,

For clarity,

For your creativity to flow.

I would like you to use your imagination.

Visualise that with each out-breath you close a window in your brain,

Like a window in your computer.

Close the windows of regrets,

The windows of the past.

Close the windows of worries,

Anxieties,

The windows of the future.

Close the windows of the to-do list.

Close all the open windows until your brain is clear,

Until your brain is free.

And just being present now with your breath and with all those resources now available to you for the rest of the day.

And in your own time,

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes and start to re-engage with the world around you.

Very good quick session. Ends a little abruptly. A little more quiet music at the end would be nice.
