As we come into our relaxation today,

You can sit up for this practice placing lots of pillows behind your back or laying down flat perhaps with a pillow underneath your knees.

Just coming to recognize your pitta dosha,

The dosha of heat,

Transformation.

It digests things,

It burns things,

It helps us to see clearly,

It gives us a glow.

This dosha can get overheated and so this relaxation is dedicated to this.

Begin to visualize yourself on a beach as you breathe in and out through your nose.

As your body begins to relax into the earth,

You feel your body making an imprint upon the sand.

And now we move towards stillness.

Inner and outer.

The secret being that if we can allow the body to stop,

We notice a little bit more about the inner landscape.

What arrives and what hides.

We first come into this skin,

Noticing the atmosphere around you.

It could be warm,

But I think today it is early and the sun's heat is not yet built up.

You do not feel challenged by the sun's rays and there is a light,

Sprinkling of clouds in the sky,

Floating softly within your view.

And you notice the breath as it begins to create a wave in your body.

Every inhale rises you away from the sand and every exhale confirms the imprint of your body on the earth.

As you notice a cool breeze flowing over your skin,

Drawing that coolness in through your nose and down into the middle of your body,

Breathing outward,

Resting the breath out through your mouth.

And continue with that for about six breaths,

Visualizing the cool breath as a color of blue or green.

And allowing your eyes to gently close,

Your eyes lifted up to look into the middle of your forehead.

And you sense the scenery around you as you hear the shore,

The water lapping up upon the land.

And you feel an inner smile rise into your mouth.

And you are not surprised at all when you feel the water suddenly touch your heels.

And it's not shockingly cold,

But it feels refreshing as it moves further up the back of your legs.

It gently falls back into the ocean itself.

And once again,

The flow of the ocean laps up onto the earth and rolls onto and underneath this body as it begins to move further up the back of your body.

And you are comfortable with this idea that perhaps you might become almost submerged in the cool ocean's water.

As you notice that your face begins to relax almost completely.

And your breath begins to synchronize with the movement of the ocean.

As the inhale and exhale assist in the water beginning to cover your body.

Accept your face.

It feels like you are now floating.

No longer separate,

But a part of the whole.

There is no rush to be any more than all that you are.

And there is no rush for any other being to be any more than what they are already.

The challenge of pitta is to live in the fluidity of life.

Breathing in and out to the ocean of oneness.

Allowing time to be timely.

As you feel that you breathe in and the breath fills you as you rise towards the edges of the ocean top.

The surface of your body meets the surface of this ocean.

And every exhale submerges your body a little further without any fear or stress.

You are completely supported.

As you rest in weightlessness unhurried unhurried.

Becoming absorbed.

Into the rhythm of life.

And your mind may wander into beautifully passionate places of your joys and your dreams.

And encourage this freedom.

As long as there is no doing,

No urgency,

But allow images,

Symbols,

Conversations to come and to go.

As you rest easy just as you are.

As you rest easy just as you are.

As you rest easy just as you are.

And we come back now into this body breathing.

And connecting into the heated parts of the body that may feel very cool and silent.

Having been immersed in the coolness of the ocean and the breath.

You feel as if you have been set down gently by the knowing force of the ocean as you rest and find yourself upon the beach once again.

As you breathe you fill your belly up towards the blue sky and breathe out you pull your belly down towards your spine and you feel calm.

Although you may have much to do today or tomorrow.

Coming into the fluid movement of life helps to keep the pitta dosa reduced and balanced.

Feel the heaviness of the body sink a little bit further into the imprint upon the earth.

Breathing in and out to the ocean of oneness.

As you recognize now that our relaxation is over for today.

Thank you for joining me.
